💧AnUntamedAustralian #FreePress (@an_untamed) reported from Nowra, New South WalesIt should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

purana (@purana) reportedIt's bad enough that I assume NBN co called my mother to offer an FTTP upgrade, which is not even possible because the address has an MDU which is not FTTP ready. Like I said, I don't think the people doing the work have any idea what they are doing. Disappointing.
-
TassieDevyl (@TasDevyl) reported@ArtistAffame That's not bad. The only option I have where I am is Fixed Wireless. Essentially 4G/5G cell tower and fixed "antenna" on the roof. NBN service via iinet (TPG). Given the distance from the tower I only get a portion of the theoretical maximum throughput. Costs more than your plan.
-
Shane (@bigRD73) reported@blowingtom2 @SenSHenderson It would be as bad as NBN co if they didn't.
-
The Immaculate Deception (@DeceptionImmac) reported@QuentinDempster Good to see you're finally admitting that the NBN was a badly thought out brain fart from day one. And the Gumbyment needed someone like Elon to demonstrate to them the proper way to provide such a service over vast distqances. Good to know.
-
KR (@keenkellie1) reported@FinancialReview Seriously just take the last two major projects snowy 2.0 and nbn you get cost blow outs, inefficiency and poor returns, instead of your retirement money compounding at 7-10% in the best companies on earth what could go wrong
-
Nano is green money🥦 (@alexjohnward) reported@rakeau @ianclarkeAU I have wireless nbn, it's pretty bad but much better than nothing. Starlink would maybe be cheaper and better but I think the price will go up so not switching just yet.
-
Not for you (@bcg1976) reported@BilsonhBilson The public can buy it if they want. It's a public company. I wouldn't with starlink cellular about tk come online. Just like I wouldn't have bought it's copper network off it for the NBN. How has that public turkey worked out?
-
Wal (@wally_waldo83) reported@colonelhogans By that logic, if you’re anti Coalition hand back your tax cuts, roads, defence, the NBN and every service they funded. Governments administer public services they don’t own them.
-
Tom Baker (@Duckimusprime) reported@Poolwithaswan @viii_nix Labor has been terrible with digital freedom. There was Stephen Conroy and the great Australian firewall during the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd. We were looking at getting a great fibre to the home NBN, that would've been utterly crippled by the government mandated filtering.

Harrar Longberry (@HarrarLongberry) reportedNo @NBN_Australia , 1 minute of notice is not a "Planned" 6 hour outage I can only assume you have different SLAs if you call it planned. #NBN #NoBroadbandNetwork
