    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @DoctorKarl Is your current copper connection unreliable because of its physical condition, or because of the equipment run by the service provider at the other end? My copper NBN connection works really well at 44 Mb/s and we're 50 km from Melbourne.

    The solutions are varied, but we can't trust the market to deliver broadband. The NBN can sell wholesale to ISPs, but can't sell/provide internet directly to Australians or act as an ISP. This was a bad decision by the government to set it up like that, and a failing ever since.

    @NBN_Australia @ashkbne We`ve just come back online after approx 30 hrs of no internet due to ``Maintenance``.Please provide a feasible explanation as to why such a long outage.Elderly people in lockdown cannot access home food deliveries.
