BXP (@bxporter) reported@shaneciurleo all we need now is an NBN outage or someone being told to get off the phone because dinner is getting cold
-
TK (@tk_bulba) reportedAfter numerous issues with @Telstra NBN were decided to give @Aussie_BB a try. Never again. For a company that prides itself on customer support this is the worst connection experience I’ve encountered. Allegedly now an NBN wide issue is preventing new connections.
-
LC ✝️ (@leeves_chou) reportedProof of occupancy – this document request is another interesting thing. To ensure the application is from a real resident at the property, NBN sometimes needs proof, like a lease contract or water bills that match the applicant's name and address. However, this process can really delay provisioning. ISPs can check if the LOC ID is empty and see that no service is connected; they could just sign the customer up. If there is an existing service and the name on file doesn’t match, send a message to the new customer that provisioning is stuck for xxx reason. If the name on file matches, they can just hook them up. The process could be so much easier!

J Pipsam (@markdavaus) reported@MarkoMatvikov AussieBB are awesome! I got FTTP installed via NBN organised by them without any work on my part. When in the process of moving in I hadn't connected my router up after signing up, they rang me to check of everything was okay and if I was having tech issues. Great customer focus.
