It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

Also the 4G is quite reasonable here and some of the pits in the streets are marked NBN / ELEC, to I guess they didn't get lumped on terrible wireless or Sky Muster.

@miller_c_j @Ausdroid With nbn installers one excuse given was their system was down. They would automatically allocate a time and date of a weekend. Cancelled but they said system down. I said not available as I volunteer at wheelchair sports on weekends (this was pre-covid)

@sallymcmanus @jackbollocks @DodoAustralia The entire NBN is ****. Among the worst in the developed world. Drop NBN altogether and grab yourself a 5G home modem

@Telstra No offence Shannon but when we needed help was when our internet was down for over 3 and a half hours on Thursday when we were working. Nobody answered my msg 31/2hrs I had to re msg before anyone bothered to reply. By which time the nbn service was restored. Poor form Telstra.

Another day, another shitty customer service call with @iiNet trying to get someone to run a cable from the street to our existing @NBN_Australia box and modem. WE DON’T NEED A CHIP JUST GET SOMEONE TO RUN A CABLE. Could you be any worse? Solve it today or we cancel

@NBN_Australia The problem is the phone line nailed to trees. i.e. the NBN FTTN network. There is nothing I can do to improve the service other than swapping to 4G which is 5x faster.

@NBN_Australia @ShadiKennedy Yes, your always sorry, BUT do you do anything to improve your service or the quality of your network - NO. That would take planning and actual Talent - NBN has neither.

@hexsteph Yay! After your ongoing issues getting this to happen, it must be such a relief. We just had an NBN tech out today fixing our FTTC. Back on the information superhighway!
