  It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.   @jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 The NBN was flawed from the start but it sounds good so it had widespread public support. High speed internet would have been delivered by private sector with some govt support for rural Australia & it would have almost certainly been done quicker & cheaper.

  @BrentHodgson What's more interest in is the land mines left by a government. The education reforms from RGR, NDIS RGR, NBN RGR just 3 that spring to mind. Abbott should have smashed them all up and we would be in a much better place now with cut down versions. That alone over 10 years must be $500bn.

  I rearranged my furniture like I said I might. Crashed my NBN doing it and now it will not connect. Spent the last hour on the providers help text… the backup 4G SIM WiFi Connection isn’t working either… the technician is coming later this week … The flat is more cluttered and I should have left it like it was… That filled the day anyway. I needed the exercise… I can’t sleep ..

  @TopherField The NBN started in Broken Hill my refrigeration systems on the towers where the only ones running when it hit 45c. They rang me up and said how come mine where the only one still working. Because I used Temperzone Australian Airconditioners with adjustable head preasure I increased. I didnt tell them all they had to do with the other was remove the thermistors off the head preasure on the American systems.

  @Riogallica @nbn @Starlink The only problem with starlink is they can put the price up any time they feel, I was with them 2 months and they upped the price. If you want to go elsewhere in under 12 months you have to pay for the hardware, around $500 I think. Having said that, the service is ok.

  @TopherField I'm in regional Victoria and there's NBN fixed wireless, someone has to come to your home, drill holes and install cables and a antenna on the roof that's if you are in line of sight of the tower, it is slow, people around me have just got Starlink instead, it's a game changer
