It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

@IronMask75 @NBN_Australia Unfortunately in the eyes of nbn 40mb over fttn is acceptable minimum is 25mb since ur getting 40mh they wount do **** unless u pay for fttp fetting the free upgrade or wait n see when nbn decides to upgrades fttn not a lot can do 10k to get my house upgraded

@Internode I just signed up for the superfast NBN (yay!), but I do have another question about my connection. I'm only getting good speeds (200 mbps) on the 5G wifi connection on the modem. The regular wifi connection is painfully slow (20 mbps or less)... just curious to understand why!

@dontcallmekatie What connection type? FTTN/FTTP/FTTC? For all NBN services, the only physical network difference between providers is the bit between the provider servers and the NBN network. FWIW I'm happy with TPG with FTTN, not what I want, but pretty reliable.

@superloopnet Internet is down in 3150 (hfc nbn) and member portal is also down. Phones are not manned at this hour so Help Centre not so useful. Got all solid green lights on nbn box and no known disruptions on nbn page.

@dontcallmekatie 5G is a viable speed replacement if available, but more expensive on data and subject to load variation. Telstra actually have the best FTTN solution with modems having 4G failover if the NBN connection is lost.
