    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @TimLooker @ABCaustralia I knew our communications system was down the tube with no stopping it when NBN bought the Copper Wire Network from Telstra and start decommissioning it, we should have had our Copper Network (which served us well) continue to do so along side Fibre etc.

    @VoteLewko @2GB873 I have Boost on my phone. Goes thru the Telstra Network. It was out. My NBN however sailed through no problems with TPG.

    MAYBE WHEN WE WAKE UP, WHATEVER ******** IS WRONG WITH VODAFONE AUSTRALIA AND THE NBN WILL STOP SCREWING WITH OUR NET, BECAUSE I SURE AM COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS TO THE BILL PEOPLE AND DEMANDING A DISCOUNT BRO!!!!

    @basespanker @Batman2242 That was a fttn upgrade with Telco support, but libs called it fraudband due to the minor upgrade so it got scrapped and years later the #nbn was formed to rollout fibre to 93% of premises. LNP got in and decided to do fraudband

    @OMGTheMess Twice the ALP voted down Howard with forward looking telecoms infrastructure 1. Mid 80’s when universal ISDN connections were proposed, aka digital telephony 2. Early 2000’s national CDMA network covering 99% of the landmass for IOT devices Then we were mandated the NBN…

    @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

    If our @NBN_Australia is like this for the Australian census night, our family won’t exist as won’t be able to fill in the online forms… will have to drive down the road for mobile coverage. Can we have our old copper to node connection back?

    @pigways @Batman2242 NBN satellites have been in service since 2013 that provided a significantly improved service for remote and regional areas. Starlink only arrived in the last few years. Perhaps Amazon was able to meet the design and contract requirements set by #nbn and starlink couldn't.
