    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @TopherField the NBNs answer to not being able to lay fiber down and close gaps was to ***** fixed wireless towers for land to land satelite, for which each tower probably services on average like, 500 people, according to what the NBN told me anyway.

    @TopherField NBN will pale in comparison to the data centre **** show. Elon has spoken of SpaceX’s new data centre satellite constellation that won’t require water for cooling or electricity. But we’ll race ahead and ruin neighborhoods and farmland building irrelevant infrastructure anyway.

    Update. Dodos from NBN came back to tell me it’s my fault and nothing to do with them. Well! Problem solved. It will not be because of them come Thursday, Starlink install day.

    @TheUSFeedX Yes I would because it’s a good service. But my service just went from $136 a month to $150 a month, yet the local NBN in Australia is about $85 a month.

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.     i’d say that Starlink is pretty close to competing with NBN at home for $75 a month 100 MB per second that’s not too bad. We pay $110 a month for 500 MB per second at home. We usually get about 175. To answer your question a comparable plan in Malaysia is about 55 Aussie dollars so it doesn’t quite compare

    @MichaelRuyg i had to get starlink service for power outages to maintain some ability to contact emergency services if needed. i have backup power. mad not to in a bushfire and flood prone area, sadly nbn co, optus, vodafone and telstra are clearly incompetent.
