It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

@spud01au @NBN_Australia @iiNet It’s NBN- I usually notice the internet has died. I monitor the lights to see if it’s a firmware or similar update. Then I ping iiNet on here. Then we go through the dance of checks and resets. Then I’m told it’s a widespread issue. Then I get a text from nbn- major outage

@oc_gwen When the #nbn guy left, everything was OK, connection confirmed, but when I went to connect my modem, cant get a connection with the nbn device. My ISP thinks there is a problem with #nbn's device, but can't get nbn to come & check it out for 2 weeks.

@iiNet I ordered a modem a week ago, with the highest NBN available. I picked up the modem and plugged it: No internet. Your support tells me it takes 24h to enable the NBN connection *from pick up date!!!* Why don’t you make that clear beforehand. Just lost a day of work!

@PaulFletcherMP my daughter just moved house in a northern Melbourne suberb told NBN cannot be connected until 22 March. The premises are NBN ready. Providers don't have adequate supply of NBN boxes. Pretty poor service don't you feel.

@NBN_Australia They've been doing that for years, I've had 10 visits from techs, I've had all my gear replaced including NTD several times. The simple fact is - you can't fix it whist it is HFC. @NickRossTech

- Incident #2: said my NBN modem stopped working. They said they're "looking into this" and after 50 (!) minutes they eventually told me NBN service works so there must be an equipment fault - which is what I literally said at the start of the conversation.
