Dear @Optus you are a disgrace, cancel my ADSL as I am signed up to NBN well I would be but still waiting for a modem from you from 10th Oct, rang help desk and Annika CB690949 was going to ring me back in 10/15 minutes 40 minutes.

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @factordex @Telstra @NBN_Australia Holy shit

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Had no issues with Telstra cable pre-NBN

  • badtastefatboy Robert Gunner (@badtastefatboy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@LennaLeprena @Loud_Lass Never say never. But certainly during the operational life of #nbn I can't see #fibretopremises being beaten by anything else. We're currently on HFC (High Frequency Coaxial) & destined for HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) but delaying as long as possible because of reliability.

  • DannMallet Dann Mallet (@DannMallet) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Optus mobile and nbn slow tonight

  • JFelstein Jason Felstein (@JFelstein) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

When will Aust get serious about #innovation and enabling the citizen of the future @ScottMorrisonMP help this country compete on the world stage and fix the #nbn. Out of date before it’s complete and no money for a modern communication platform.

  • nasser_tony Tony Nasser 🇦🇺 (@nasser_tony) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

A pox on the house of the Australian NBN. This substandard excuse for internet service is pathetic.

  • jchimselfbigpo2 💧jchimself (@jchimselfbigpo2) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Have been with Telstra since 1972-have not had a problem. Now on NBN, still with Telstra- have low needs - fixed cost $88.00 per month - all local landline & mobile calls free. Suits me down to the ground.

  • ardmorelad Paul (@ardmorelad) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

I repeat. Why is @NBN_Australia constantly cutting out in postcode #4152. What is the problem. @Telstra @andy_penn #nbnfail

  • MsLisaHerbert Lisa Herbert (@MsLisaHerbert) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@carolduncan @AgPeriUrban Absolutely. We were on deck in Mackay during Cyclone Debbie & even the ABC went down to those worst affected. Phones out for days. Guy walked for kms down a blocked road to tell authorities his village was OK. Frightens me to think how the NBN will affect comms when power is lost

  • offshoredc dc (@offshoredc) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@YaThinkN @BreakfastNews Yes and if you continue a curve it becomes a circle and we end up behind ourselves and backwards. The NBN is a palindrome for a reason. It’s as much backwards as it forwards. At times we have the worst broadband service you could imagine

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@max_au @simone_au That's the problem hey. The NBN tech installed the NBN modem, got it to pass, and left. The next tech who came out says it's likely the first tech installed an attenuator to get the activation, then removed it (because apparently the techs are too cheap to leave the attenuator)

  • TheOlderGamer52 Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue. That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

  • mark16pg mark pg (@mark16pg) reported from Old Bribie, State of Queensland

Did any of them back stab anyone that got in their way .Policies that cost Aust over $50 b in a very short time & growing (subs, nbn, barrier reef, snowy mtn mk 2 all unmitagated disasters. Was willing to bring the govt down with a election after they dumped him he is the king loser

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@nettey1234 @NBN_Australia @Telstra NBN is a joke - they can’t even tell me when the issue will be fixed

  • glenn_rowe Glenn Rowe (@glenn_rowe) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra AGM sees them complaining about the NBN however their biggest problem should be customer retention. I always have a problem when contacting Telstra, tried to get an esim as a replacement for my physical sim, and I’m asked for a driving lience I don’t have. #esim #NBN

  • bdyling Benny Ling (@bdyling) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

The good news is, the apartment I purchased off the plan has FTTP. The bad news is, it’s not NBN FTTP, it’s some “LBN Co” FTTP, whom I have never heard of before.

  • TheOlderGamer52 Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@SoloVideoGamer I keep hearing of these NBN issues from hundreds of people. Only ever had 1 issue and that's when we 1st got connected. No upload speed. 😂 Now I get a constant 94/37mbps unless of course someone is downloading lol

  • OldTime58084241 Old Timer (@OldTime58084241) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @CannabisFairy69 @davidbewart @kjon1230 NBN another LNP cluster ****

  • editsmithy Bradders (@editsmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

How frigging stupid is this, I actually work from home full time and now can’t due to the poor service by @NBN_Australia and @Telstra So good lucky anyone thinking of working from home due to the virus and using NBN - 8 days so far and no resolution and no ETA on a fix

@ausgov this country is an embarrassment!!! When will this useless government do something about this crap nbn???? Forever dropping out, slow and useless most of the time!!! Businesses screwing over customers??? You turn a blind eye to this…..

  • Swollendanube Swollen Danube (@Swollendanube) reported

@MelbUrbanist I haven't seen the numbers in that study, but we seem to throw so much money at less deserving causes; negative gearing, super tax concessions for the rich etc. The NBN had a poor BCR I hear, but seems like a worthy investment compared to those, for example.

  • Caitlinanne1197 Caitlin walker (@Caitlinanne1197) reported

@NBN_Australia How about you focus on fixing the current nbn and stop cancelling appointments 6 weeks with no internet numerous phone calls to my provider 3 different modems. Swapped providers and still same problem!

  • shambolicgirl Anna (@shambolicgirl) reported

@vergis_jim @bugwannostra NBN was trashed under Turnbull. Was it because Murdoch did not want his news outlet threatened. It is Murdoch's network that now broadcasts the ABC news to rural Australia. Thanks for nothing

  • SandiMaree90 Sandimaree (@SandiMaree90) reported

@NBN_Australia Well my service provider originally told me from what they could see nbn were supposed tp be done 6pm today and it’s still ongoing! Although originally they gave me 11pm YESTERDAY! There was no warning either from nbn that this would be happening!

  • aDB Matthew Hall (@aDB) reported

Love how I contact Optus over my phone constantly getting call failed when I make calls or it does it 30 seconds into the call, plus I wanted a cheaper plan for my phone …. Their solution “We have amazing NBN plans” Why does anyone use them? Seriously … terrible

  • ShereeSF1 ShereeSF (@ShereeSF1) reported

@BenFordhamLive Surprise. Another complete government fail with taxpayer money. Business case? NBN, CEFC, this and at State govt Wellcamp. They need to be held accountable for this utter contempt for taxpayer money. They’re supposed to be stewards not drunken sailors.
