@Telstra have throttled our backup 4G internet, which we have been using while we wait 4 months to get NBN installed... We can barely use the internet - can’t even FaceTime with loved ones 😞. Fortunately I have an open complaint with the ombudsman. Disgraceful. Cc @ACCAN_AU

@abc730 @geoff__thompson The LNP have butchered the NBN and they continue to avoid recognising or supporting the videogame industry as part of the country's vibrant screen industry mix. If only we used coal I'm sure we'd have their unwavering support and tax breaks aplenty.

@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

@abc730 @geoff__thompson 10 years into the NBN's life and right now the reason I can't get it is because unlike my neighbours I never gave Murdoch any money by subscribing to Foxtel. It's ludicrous.

.@JakeSchoermer lists key issues as climate change, transparency, NBN. Highlights zipline as a big @QldGreens @mcberkman win. No mention of housing affordability policy - although I'm going to guess most of the Ryan candidates' forum audience owns homes. #auspol

@NBN_Australia After years of delays my street was scheduled for March. I've never had Foxtel so mine got moved out to May, and then tonight whilst contractors are doing nightwork it moves out another year. I'm looking for an actual answer please.

Stressed out today. Going onto the dreaded NBN HFC. Heard nothing but bad things about the Arcadyan Modem from Telstra. Especially how its causing all sorts of issues with Xbox.

@bongrrjr @NBN_Australia Frustrating is only half of it. From what I hear from locals in our area who already have it. They are not to happy either. With the amount of problems they have with the net. We might be better off without it.

The priority policies should be to overturn laws that take away our civic freedoms, fixing and improving the NBN, and working to ensure everyone can access the internet. And to claw back power of big tech, I support more common ownership and making companies pay their fair share.

Can anyone give me a sensible explanation why Australia has persisted with the #nbn - a substandard #nbn ? I mean, we dont get a better internet service, no faster service, no cheaper service - what is the benefit? I am still waiting to get connected to the #nbn after 4 weeks.

@FAT_ALEX "to not have **** internet until we finally get NBN" (we've been stuffed by the HFC rollout delays). Which seems to be the only use case that 5G is worse suited to than 4G was!

@TPG_Telecom The issue has been there for 7 days, yet only be onsite today or tomorrow? Have they even exercise any sense of urgency for customer? Most people are WFH and relying on the internet to work. NBN has been complacent with their monopoly status. 5G will be a great threat to NBN #NBN

@ACurrentAffair9 What a joke both NBN and Telstra are, why isn’t someone accelerating these issues to protect businesses, and anyone else for that matter. I personally would never use Telstra again after their customer services team went awol last year
