  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • AnthonyPress Tony Press (@AnthonyPress) reported from Tinderbox, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia 1. These slow speeds are common across different service providers in the district. 2. The many times I’ve pursued this topic it becomes a duck-shoving exercise: NBN Co. says it’s the service provider; the service provider says it’s lack of capacity at the NBN tower.

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

Hi @TPG_Telecom, I’m trying to close my NBN account and move to another telco after a month of poor customer service. I can’t get through on phone (line has dropped twice) or via app message. Could you please help?

  • YUHeff2BSoGreen This Dalek's Workday 🇺🇦💉💉💉 (@YUHeff2BSoGreen) reported

i'd like to see some actual ******* tips for those on low-income who: don't have gym memberships, don't dine out, don't have netflix etc, are on prepaid mobile, slowest nbn plan, cut down on meat and already know the best time to buy most of their perishables at a steep discount?

  • cjlopez2009 c j (@cjlopez2009) reported

@Optus hello, my nbn internet's connection has been very slow since 10pm last night. Do you know what could've happen or what is happening? I live around the Arncliffe area

  • TravisBoutsas Not Me (@TravisBoutsas) reported

@NBN_Australia So it takes so long to fix it that you have to go back in time in order to resolve it?

  • creatrixtiara Creatrix Tiara (@creatrixtiara) reported

@NBN_Australia hi sorry for this. I've been having issues with my NBN connection for weeks. Exetel says it's an issue with internal wiring, ask building manager. Building manager says to contact NBN but y'all are wholesalers. What do I do to get a technician sorted?

  • DaHugnkiss Ahh-man-duh💉💉💉🤷‍♀️🖖 (@DaHugnkiss) reported

@Monocotyledon I live 60km from Sydney cbd. Only option was adsl or Skymuster sat. Adsl had faster speeds of 12mbps down & 0.3mbps up. Told nbn fibre never coming here. In came Musks Starlink. Now get 180-250 down & 20 up. Life changing. Cost $45 more per month but totally worth it.

  • Cyntaria_ Cyntaria (@Cyntaria_) reported

Shoutout to @NBN_Australia for making me wait 6 months for a connection, saying it's ready for service when we still need more work done, then making me wait an indefinite amount of time because they botched the job and didn't even bother testing it.

  • digipsychosis Digital Psychosis (@digipsychosis) reported

LNP suggesting nuclear power is just like their FTTN NBN rollout. Slow; taking 10 years longer than we need it. Expensive; far more than anything else. Outdated; and therefore pointless. The mere suggestion is absurd. #auspol

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@XMW60950832 Are you able to check if there's any damage cable in the NBN NTD box? -Basil

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported
