Let's all save the Australian Koala (@Learn15856480) reported
@RonniSalt @Telstra I rang Telstra five times to get my new phone/NBN service. Each time, after about 8 minutes, the call was ended by Telstra because there was no one available in their overseas call centres. Only got through to them by going to the local Telstra Shop.

@RonniSalt @Telstra Oh I feel your pain! Just been thru 3 week ordeal with them myself. It wasn’t until I complained here that I was able to get anywhere. Beyond stupid. In short a tree took out the NBN connection. Strong accented staff couldn’t comprehend they thought it was under ground....

@DaveMilbo "Equipment shortage" **** they must've gone through all that copper pretty quickly : "As of March (2020), a total of 49,620 kilometres of copper had been bought for use in the NBN’s footprint"

@maxblackhole @MifWhy Couldn't make a phone call, outrageous outage by Optus during work hours. NBN intermittently also dropping out , can't stream Netflix properly. You are not the only one.

beigewash 🔥💧🌱 FEDERAL ICAC now!!! (@beigewash) reported
@nanso44 You don't get a choice. It's the type of service that is offered in different locations. Depending on what NBN Co has installed in that area. The type of service, FTTP or FTTP or HFC, costs the same. It's the internet plan you pay for.

@mattnhodges @NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB Welcome to Australia. I don’t think there will ever be a time when tethering from a telstra mobile is not the fastest and most reliable network connection.

NBN box won’t stop clicking, it’s so friggin’ annoying. Like WTF my old ADSL at-least shut up when it was having problems. And the internet is working just fine. Going to rip my hair out if i can’t make it stop. Apparently it started because of a storm. Just like work or shut up

@simonahac @deniseshrivell @AngusTaylorMP After denying the efficacy of an EV policy and that Labor is 'stealing your weekend' these ignorant bastards are using the Labor policy as a base for a poor imitation which will fail just as their attempt at an NBN roll-out failed and cost more than the original Labor proposal.

@BronwenZ Consolation prize for the pain we had leading up to FTTC (2019) - we had 10yrs+ of ADSL2 connection degraded down to 7Mbps due to damaged copper wires. HFC users at least had something decent until NBN. Was prev paying $250+/mo for 3 x bonded connections (Fixed Wireless/4G/ADSL2)
