Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

  • EmergencyBK Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, State of Victoria

@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

The bastards rang me saying they were NBN. We all know what shit that is! Luckily, I woke up, just, before they got anything - Lucky escape.

  • EmergencyBK 🍩Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, State of Victoria

@PeterJamesRoth6 @PeterDutton_MP Yep, there were definite technical issues from the websites end first few days, then also just a clunky government designed site. I had no problems signing, but think I was ~1,500th signature, before site started crashing. No doubt poor NBN/internet doesn’t help 👍

  • sportingphotos Sporting Photos (@sportingphotos) reported from Long Forest, State of Victoria

I predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

  • platykitten Lorraine Paul (@platykitten) reported from Long Forest, State of Victoria

We all know that is exactly why Murky wanted NBN slowed down. Cut out the competition of Foxtel!

  • EmergencyBK Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, State of Victoria

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

  • Omegaville B.J. Winzer (@Omegaville) reported

Phone call just now: Recorded message from "National Broadband Network" saying I am going to have my NBN and landline cut off because they are not available in my area. Let's unpack that: 1. I don't have a landline or NBN. 2. How can I have them if they're not in the area??

  • eldamahj Eldamahj (@eldamahj) reported

@NBN_Australia @AusChamber Hahahahaha. Unless it's based in North Epping, where we've been without internet access for the past two days, due to an issue with the nbn. What a joke.

  • CannabisFairy69 Dezza ... (@CannabisFairy69) reported

@noplaceforsheep They must be using the #NBN and gettin’ a bad ping rate and slow speeds too. Broken NBN would stop the votes. #auspol

  • kels_316 Adam (@kels_316) reported

@morgan_mysterio @derridalicious I had a speed issue early on, gave them a call and it was a network issue (NBN) which they were able to fix over the phone. Immediately jumped to the highest speed from a pretty slow one. Definitely give them a call, they’ll sort it out if its possible to do so.

  • Chips_mn Chips (@Chips_mn) reported

@JoshFrydenberg @SenKatyG @AlboMP Remember when the LNP pushed through ~$60,000,000,000 for a broadband network that was outdated by the time it was built? Remember when ISPs had to ask Netflix to scale down its video last year because the NBN couldn't handle the load?

  • Dwan12321 Dwayne (@Dwan12321) reported

@NBN_Australia @AusChamber Ironic given our internet is down

  • Daniel_Cannon15 ᛞᚨᚾᛁᛖᛚ (@Daniel_Cannon15) reported

Hey @Telstra Why does the internet keep going down? Is it an NBN problem or a Telstra problem?

  • The_MovieOracle Ashleigh Dana TMO (@The_MovieOracle) reported

    @danjensenmovies Stupid NBN.

  • andrewtiger9 Andrew (@andrewtiger9) reported

Anyone else experiencing wifi/nbn issues with Telstra the past month? Service constantly dropping out & very slow, makes working from home very difficult! @Telstra service is horrendous, they keep apologising and monitoring, but not fixing it, so much for “super fast internet”😡

  • dgaust dg (@dgaust) reported

@slace That's the purpose of the Service Class settings. Should advise the ISP and NBN of the work required to commission the connection at your location. It should be seamless, but in my experience the NBN still didn't send the right team the first time around, and needed to re-book.
