@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

The bastards rang me saying they were NBN. We all know what shit that is! Luckily, I woke up, just, before they got anything - Lucky escape.

I predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

@ravibabji @NBN_Australia I'm sorry. The NBN only provides 20th century copper phone line service to millions of customers, perhaps you are now one of them. They do promise to upgrade some of them to the potential for a decent service. Eventually. Maybe. But they haven't started yet.

@MikeCarlton01 @brucerguthrie They also have nationwide broadband that makes the #NBN look just what it is - a bad 20th Century joke.

@Telstra Your much touted Smart Modem should provide 4G backup when there is an NBN issue. Today I had to spend more than an hour with a helpful support person to get 4G to work. That's not an efficient back up

@NBN_Australia Hey @NBN_Australia, just keeping this alive as I've received no answer or contact in relation to my initial question about holding you legally culpable for losses resulting from your inability to provide an essential service. It's time we learned who and how.

@Telstra Your outages page says everything is fine in my area but my NBN is good as dead due to zero upload speed and I tried to switch the modem to 4G but got very slow speeds. What’s going on?
