@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

The bastards rang me saying they were NBN. We all know what shit that is! Luckily, I woke up, just, before they got anything - Lucky escape.

We all know that is exactly why Murky wanted NBN slowed down. Cut out the competition of Foxtel!

@PeterJamesRoth6 @PeterDutton_MP Yep, there were definite technical issues from the websites end first few days, then also just a clunky government designed site. I had no problems signing, but think I was ~1,500th signature, before site started crashing. No doubt poor NBN/internet doesn’t help 👍

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

I predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@AlboMP @kate_eviva Just had a look at my NBN plans and gotta say it's bloody expensive for what most ppl pay for basic service in other countries. An equivalent $89 a month would be 1000Mbps in South Korea not this half assed 100Mbps.

@CaroDiRusso If Starlink makes it down to Australia, NBN is pretty much toast. Those trying to argue that grand-ma needs a gigabit fibre connection are kidding themselves.

If any LNP apologists dare complain that Labors $2.5B commitment to fix the NBN is too expensive, just remind them Frydenberg gave over ten times that amount in Jobkeeper to businesses that didn't need it.

typical questions from media and govt that pays a mate 10k a day per person on manus,30 mill for a 3 mill block of land and 40 billion to firms that didnt need it about labors fix nbn plan. how will you pay for it? same way the lnp has funded their rorts

@AlboMP I love this. Apart from being more expensive, nore complicated and hence less reliable the non-fibre parts of the network can’t be upgraded. The LNP crippled the NBN. I look forward to seeing the NBN restored as a first class network.

@MikeCarlton01 On the radio some LNP joker this morning "we will fix up the NBN...so Labor's election promise is all spin". I think he missed the point somehow...

@PaulFletcherMP How stupid must you think people are that anybody would think the nbn hasn’t been the biggest failure of an infrastructure project Australia has ever seen and is already outdated and needs to be done again
-
Zodd Sonofthor

@MikeCarlton01 A whole heap of friends in the tech sector left Australia because this LNP NBN was so **** they couldn't run their businesses and then not that long ago with the changes to security access more in the tech security sector had to leave as well. LNP are luddites and fools.

The @australian newspaper helped ruin the @NBN_Australia. So it doesn't surprise me they have no articles on their website about @AustralianLabor's plans to try and fix the damage done to the #NBN by the Coalition. Labor are rolling out more fibre & keeping NBN in public hands.

@Dave__Jeffress We have FTTN where I live and have not bothered with the NBN for the last 3 years. The constant drop outs were annoyingly bad. Been on 4G/5G ever since. It would take a lot for me to rejoin the NBN after what I’ve been through.
