The bastards rang me saying they were NBN. We all know what shit that is! Luckily, I woke up, just, before they got anything - Lucky escape.

I predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

@PeterJamesRoth6 @PeterDutton_MP Yep, there were definite technical issues from the websites end first few days, then also just a clunky government designed site. I had no problems signing, but think I was ~1,500th signature, before site started crashing. No doubt poor NBN/internet doesn’t help 👍

Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

We all know that is exactly why Murky wanted NBN slowed down. Cut out the competition of Foxtel!

@L2Choo @TKaiuuuu @THlGHx what's the point of getting some rand nbn people to stand around and not fix it

Andrew Elwell

@steve_evil @NBN_Australia True. The problem with good services is that nobody notices when they work well. See also concerts: how many people say "excellent audio mix tonight" compared to noticing when it's crap?

I should just go to the top tier, my yearly sub expires mid July and it's all of $4 for the remaining 22 days. But the shop implies I get cloud gaming for PS3 games which is not in Au because the NBN is garbage. Not sure what else they're offering.

@PW_Arts @M_Sighil @AlanKohler Totally agree. I believe today it is an essential service. But I think the industry as a whole can be a good example of how well a privatised essential service can operate. As long as you exclude NBN which was a white elephant from the start. I couldn't c the need to privatise it

@Telstra thank you for disconnecting my nbn service at 7:30pm on a Friday night and not providing any support services for me to contact until Monday morning at 8am. This has been an ongoing issue since February and it’s still not rectified. Disappointing

@pashtoonkasi Humble RN ramble, in night sci mode sans coffee: no tmt suggestions: but NBN would have been picked up on both CTDNA or tissue w/F1 testing so mentioned genes not germline. If NBN germline, then poor immune response but this is not (?). More ca higher up, R sided since mKRAS+?

And the NBN goes out twice in a week. Originally was an infrastructure issue and now we can not get anyone out cause we’re in the middle of ISO. But we may get financial compensation from our internet provider. Honestly, just do your job and fix the damn infrastructure.
