Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

The bastards rang me saying they were NBN. We all know what shit that is! Luckily, I woke up, just, before they got anything - Lucky escape.

We all know that is exactly why Murky wanted NBN slowed down. Cut out the competition of Foxtel!

@PeterJamesRoth6 @PeterDutton_MP Yep, there were definite technical issues from the websites end first few days, then also just a clunky government designed site. I had no problems signing, but think I was ~1,500th signature, before site started crashing. No doubt poor NBN/internet doesn’t help 👍

@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

I predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

@DaveMilbo I did the same. When I finally had no option but to switch to NBN, they made it as difficult as possible. Sent the wrong modem, cut off my ADSL connection before the correct modem arrived. Hours wasted on phone support. Net result: barely any difference in internet speeds.

@DaveMilbo I don't have amazing internet, but when I need speed, I switch over to mobile tethering. I'm being forced to change to NBN too, very grudgingly, because there's no comparable mobile broadband service. I've lived in developing countries with better options.

Apparently in Canberra the @NBN_Australia is known as the NO BROADBAND NETWORK due to a fail maintenance last night.

I shut the modem down and started it up again and there was no change, then I restarted it and again no change, I did a factory reset and again no change, then I disconected the NBN box from the backup battery, then pluged in the WAN cable and plugged the battery back in...

@TweetingSteve My brother knocked his house down and built the new one 15 metres to the left. Literally the hardest part of the entire process was moving the nbn service. I told him he should have just got an ethernet cable.

@DaveMilbo Found out we could choose between TPG's own network (FFTB) or NBN. Only a v limited number of areas here & in Melb have the option. The NBN went to court & stopped TPG's rollout. I went with TPG (18 mths now) & the speed is 120+Mbps and very stable. Won't be able to move now! 🙃

@LadyPoop2 I get it when the local NBN bandwidth is choked. Go knock on all your neighbours doors and tell them Acting PM McCormack said to stop lying on the couch watching netflix and go get a job picking fruit in the regions. Should fix your Twitter problem.

@DaveMilbo I had to do the Same, the NBN is crap. Half the speed at twice the price. Malcolm and Big ears bent us over without lube.
