Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@Scamwatch_gov The NBN Scam is still going strong. They used to ring (using a different mobile phone number every time) about every 3 days - even on weekends - but now they hide the number. The calls are listed simply "Private Number." Some are recorded and some are live. Just hang up.

@simonahac @Telstra What I really dislike is the dampening down of the up and download speeds to below the contracted levels. On purpose and against any rational reasoning. Our NBN Wifi tower feeds directly into the main arterial but we get ridiculously slow speeds. Hours spent on the app!!

@EurekaJustice Well written thread. As is typical of LNP the rollout of this is just as big a f/up as NBN, NDIS, Vaccinations, aged care reforms etc. Seems like everything LNP touches turns to **** & as usual, we get no transparency, no investigative reporting. It's just an LNP **** show

@simonahac @Telstra Aussie Broadband mate! Great nbn provider & hopefully in your area. I use them as a backup service for when Telstra out (such as right now!). Unlimited data & far cheaper.

@AboutIndia My apartment building can't get the NBN even though our street has it. Cancelled the wired internet service a few months back because it was so slow and switched to Optus 5G broadband. Literally 2 blocks from 2 different 5G towers but modem just disconnects.
