🍩Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, Victoria@PeterJamesRoth6 @PeterDutton_MP Yep, there were definite technical issues from the websites end first few days, then also just a clunky government designed site. I had no problems signing, but think I was ~1,500th signature, before site started crashing. No doubt poor NBN/internet doesn’t help 👍

Sporting Photos (@sportingphotos) reported from Long Forest, VictoriaJust tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

Lorraine Paul (@platykitten) reported from Long Forest, VictoriaWe all know that is exactly why Murky wanted NBN slowed down. Cut out the competition of Foxtel!
-
Sporting Photos (@sportingphotos) reported from Long Forest, VictoriaI predict in a matter of weeks anyone who voted down labor and their NBN will be complaining when 24 million people try to access Netflix, stan, YouTube and pornhub at 11.45 in the morning.

Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, Victoria@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.
-
Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, Victoria@davidbewart @nefreus Add to that, latest ABS data (Mar2020) shows 2.5 mill Australians are not online; affordability issues, access/location or lack of digital literacy. 10% of Aussies, no internet, let alone slow internet Successive Govs & NBN failures for an essential service, not a luxury#auspol

Ky Broome (@KyBroome35) reportedNBN is legit useless Says Wifi will be back on at 5:30pm on Tuesday only for it to roll around to 5pm and then its updated to 5:30pm on Wednesday. Get off your hands and fix the problem you created you absolute idiots

Madeleine Love (@MCLove2024) reportedWe're paying progressively more taxes, and our services are decreasing. We just got a generic letter telling us our landline phone will be disconnected in 7 months. We used to have copper line which provided a highly reliable service in emergencies, whether power and internet was on, or not. I recall ringing a (surviving) neighbour in the middle of the Marysville 2009 Black Saturday fires. We had a chat while his smoke alarm was going off and the fire was raging outside. Phone through broadband was hopeless whenever the power or internet went down, which happens frequently. Mobiles are useless whenever the internet goes down, and not long after the power goes off. But those copper wire phones were fantastic. You could actually ring the electricity company when the power was off, and tell them that the power was off and could they fix it. I'm not joining the nbn.

GoodFellaBoi ➕ (Майк) 🏴☠️ 🇦🇺 🇺🇦 ( 🇳🇱 🇵🇱) (@GoodFellaBoiBoi) reported@showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I do not know. I use iiNET, they responded well, once i was able to talk to them. I did ask for a refund for the days I have no service. So they promised to fix it within 24 hours. I also made notes, and responded to their feedback email, and summarised my notes.

Gregory J O'Flaherty 💧💦 (@schitzoziris) reportedI rearranged my furniture like I said I might. Crashed my NBN doing it and now it will not connect. Spent the last hour on the providers help text… the backup 4G SIM WiFi Connection isn’t working either… the technician is coming later this week … The flat is more cluttered and I should have left it like it was… That filled the day anyway. I needed the exercise… I can’t sleep ..

Rob Khouri (@Robkhouri) reported@JEChalmers So passing unfunded time bombs such as NDIS & your **** NBN plan just before you were turfed means nothing? Glad you don't do my budget!
-
Aussie Phil (@phil_aussie) reported@SenatorWong We cannot even get NBN to come and fix a broken connection on a telegraph pole🤔
-
Move Your Car (@ColinSchumway) reported@TopherField I signed up to Starlink precisely because of the NBN, and the way broadband is handled in this country. Got a technical issue? 9 times out of 10, NBN need to fix. But there is no direct line to them - you have to use your ISP as a middle man to send messages back and forth. Something gets lost in translation, start over. It is an exercise in frustration. The last words I said to my previous ISP ("Aussie" Broadband) was "you just made a very good case for Starlink. Cancel my account" Been on Starlink for almost a year. Not one single drop out, great speeds, even online FPS games run great. TLDR: **** the NBN

Johannes Weissman (@jway1969) reported@Starlink How about Australia has a quarter decent NBN Howard was promised one for 4.5 billion in 2004.. but Liberterians OMG globalist atlas network doesn't support actual capitalism just forced brand buying and interrupting aholed

AJganetti #WWG1WGA (@AJganetti) reportedI HAVE NBN 500 DOWN 50 UP FOR $80 A MONTH

anthony, underclass prole cat, edwards (@anthony45052793) reported@MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone
