Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

@TheRiffJet @iiNet I’ve found iinet ok over time. I’ve found Speed issues are usually an NBN problem (which iinet has no control over) or your modem.

This is the 3rd time NBN have done this in 4 months. 3 half days wasted hanging around waiting for a technician that never arrives, or even bothers to cancel. I honestly have no words. Utility connections and disconnections these days are just an absolute joke. 🤯

@ChrisMinnsMP Most privatisation does not work. For a few things it made sense. With airports, roads, electricity distribution, network parts of Telstra, the NBN, public transport, it does/did not. Vital, and especially monopoly, infrastructure is almost always worse if privatised.
