Just tried calling @3AW693 & @TJch9 about the NBN. Yet another rant about how it’s bad, again I tried to say how it’s wonderful if you have @AustralianLabor’s NBN (FTTP). Again bumped after being told I was next for 20 minutes. They put in footy show calls to drop me. #bias

@prestontowers @lubiephil As an ex-Telstra engineer, I can tell you you’re spot on. And the NBN was it’s own clusterf*ck in terms of engineering. It didn’t need outside help to become a disaster.

@bairdjulia I let one chatter on about nbn upgrade and when they asked how many devices we had on the Internet, I said "none". That stopped them in their tracks. Can't login to computer that isn't there, scammer, bye bye now. The real nbn would know this already.

@NBN_Australia @DoctorKarl Would be great to see fibre in the Adelaide Hills given the poor quality of the copper in the area, but I note no hills areas announced?

@DoctorKarl There is bugger all mobile signal at my house in South West Sydney. If not for WiFi calling, I would have no way of communicating by telephone. But don't forget that our NBN would have been so much faster if the Libs hadn't gone with their NBN lite plan.

@DoctorKarl What’s your ping like and are you connected wirelessly to the router? I spent the first few weeks of lockdown last year on ADSL, had to upgrade to NBN but found minimal improvement. Turned out I could pick up my neighbours wifi better. Only fix was a 15m cable from PC to router.

@SixthSuper @DoctorKarl Dr Karl's connectivity problems loooong predate COVID. Neither you nor this govt can blame lockdowns for an underfunded NBN (or anything else) when they handed $13billion to profitable businesses.
