@stevehearne7 @FishmoreDolitte @TheNoisyTrunk In the 6 Rudd-Gillard years they implemented two enormous debt machines in the NBN and NDIS. The only way the Libs could have avoided deficits when they returned to govt was to cancel these or implement huge cuts elsewhere. Which would you have preferred?

@avidone71 @TheEndOfWoke @Theblackfemini3 Ah okay, I've probably missed out on that deal, but worth any luck they might drop the price for existing customers too. Completely agreed, NBN is dog ****. I was paying for 100Mbps and was sometimes lucky to get 12Mbps. Starlink has changed my online life lol

@LaurieOakes I found moving back to Sydney worked well. Allocated a Telstra NBN concierge until WiFi issues in the home, Telstra were disinterested at best. Their tech is inadequate.

@OhappySt I get that. I just got sick of the regular outages and so got it so I can jobhunt and everything else. One 'major' outage so far and it lasted under an hour. As opposed to the nbn out here which has been out for over a week now.

@LaurieOakes Telstra! Just wait til u have internet problems & NBN co & Telstra each argue that it’s NOT their job to fix. It went on for 6mths for us with 12+ home visits & umpteen phone calls. Tortuous & painful. I hate them & Medibank Private! Ironically they raise my blood pressure 🚀 🤯

Sorry for the lack of Dev streams lately. The NBN in our area is being upgraded, but this has led to other issues with our internet and it hasn't been stable enough for streaming. We have a technician coming out next week, so fingers crossed we'll be back to it soon!🍃

I just realized that with my solar and bigger storage battery I'm getting soon, and everything at home being electric now, my only reliance to local infrastructure power and technology wise is the NBN Internet. Starlink would fix this. Totally don't need it, and it's more expensive than NBN, but it would be kinda cool I guess?
