  @oscarcsims also very confusing policy/reg space. govt essentially renationalised Telstra infrastructure in leasing a bunch of its assets to the NBN. yet Telstra still runs emergency services, payphones, landlines - not NBN. minimal economic incentives, maximal telco corporate welfare

  @Darth_Peachez Genuinely takes me ten hours minimum to download 100gb. It's local news obviously but there's a couple news sites in Australia talking about how a lot of us will be ****** by digital only because of how bad our NBN and wifi still is and how far behind we all are

  @realRick_AUS I've just been fishing 50km down the vic river in the NT. Starlink had better uninterrupted reception than my NBN at home in the middle of Darwin. The NBN was yet another Labor scam on the taxpayer.

  Our nbn internet/phone service isnt working. A @Optus techician was sent to my home to find out why we dont have nbn internet. He told me there is something wrong with the fibre optic internet cable. The cable brings the internet to our home.

  Our NBN is on the fritz so our ISP has thrown us back to 4G. My med prescriptions have somehow been ballsed up. The $160 monitor we had to get for our cat isn't working. It never ends. Why is it so hard? And I wonder, why can't anyone just do their jobs competently any more?
