  @NBN_Australia still cannot connect a NBN service to my mothers location. Yet it says in website its serviced by FTTN, but here we are 6+ months (3 retail providers) and still cannot get a service. They blame construction, but what happened to project planning before that :)

  @TheLucidyn @Batman2242 No, it was a very bad idea, the original OPAL idea was excellent, a public private partnership to lift rural speeds up to that of the cities and was costed at about $4 billion. Rudd screwed that up with massive mission creep and created the NBN.

  Hey @beourmate MateNBN, I have had zero NBN in my unit for around an hr now, currently using 4G on my mobile. App states nil services issues or outages. Cycled modem + NBN box, still ZERO. No emails from you about scheduled outages? Whats going on? CC @NBN_Australia

  @NBN_Australia I reported to my isp and all they can do is pass on to me the information that NBN gives them. That there’s a known issue and that a technician was sent out. But so far no estimate on when network will be restored.

  @loftwah They didn't even finish the NBN 1.0 so it makes sense. One of my mates had an NBN contract and he got paid stupid amounts of money and he said he'd finish by 2pm, took long lunches and could push appointments by saying he was too busy. Zero oversight. Huge rort.

  @LambDownUnder @TheLucidyn @Batman2242 If you ignore the $30B and 9 years wasted on the failed LNP version. #nbn will be profitable and provide a nice return once all the MTM mess is removed from the network
