@NBN_Australia Our area gets random drop outs everyday. Has since we moved over from cable. It is often the worst during the day qnd evenings so I am assuming a congestion issues. It happens across Coorparoo.

It rains, internet goes down as it always does. Reported a fault to ISP, said they would send NBN technician. About a week later NBN turns up, tells me internet is now working and they cant' fix it unless it is down. Leaves. It rains, internet goes down again. And so it goes.

@Telstra Not really. Been trying to sort something out for years now. Outside NBN fixed rollout so stuck with what Telstra let us have, so get bounced around until sometime says sorry we can't help you.

@a_rob_insertion @NBN_Australia Hmmm, I literally just told someone I'd pay $3k for it. The trick's going to be convincing the rest of the street. I'm the only one in the street down now (after the "scheduled with less than 8 hours notice maintenance" in the area overnight... I can't justify $16k though...

@LJPatton @NBN_Australia I am currently in the process of moving to a business plan because at least that has an SLA on it. Current estimate for resolution on my outage is 48 hours - assuming the NBN techs turn up for my appointment (I'm not holding my breath for that).

Helping a student with IT issues, asked him to do a speedtest. 2.1 MB and 0.3mb download speed on his two tests. I presume its not #NBN, seems like its still dialup.
