The thing people don't get about the nbn FTTP upgrade process is that the FTTN node isn't really relevant. It was never a real upgrade step, and it's not where they'll connect your fibre. FTTC (rolled out last) got 'cheaper' upgrades. HFC are probably in worse shape than FTTN.

@rohan_connolly Now hang on. No argument that Joe is an absolute flog BUT! the disgrace that is our NBN is so patchy that quality of service largely depends on what street you live on. In my HFC (cable) street, Netflix hour is 7pm, and in our house.. the board games come out.

@Telstra our internet was disconnected in error when we transfer to NBN, first order was cancelled, spent 1 hour to put 2nd order, promised a fast track and 4G to be on asap, now 2 days in, still nothing, and 2nd order could not be found by your customer rep. What a joke!

NBN down 😑. No idea why and earliest technician available from @NBN_Australia @Telstra is 48 hours from now. Dreading 2 days of @zoom_us calls on 4G now 🥺! Crappy telco infrastructure is probably the single biggest deal breaker to remote work in Australia.

@SBMPediatrics @deerbrian One of my NBN attendings in residency said that to get a 10, the infant had to make it out under its own power, a mental image that I will never forget

@TPG_Telecom hello! my NBN has been out for over an hour - I checked on the NBN website and they haven’t listed any outages, so wondering if it’s an issue that can be resolved or is being worked on (located in West Pennant Hills, NSW)
