@shawski5000 Hey there. Some existing services are switched off after approximately 18 months once the network has gone live in an area, however, this can vary. nbn do not publish coexistence dates. 1/2

@haggisbrain We understand your frustration and we'd like to get this connection issue sorted ASAP. Looking at the ticket, a possible fault was identified within the network being controlled by the NBN Co. This is now being investigated and feedback will be provided the soonest. -Charm

@HFCrowsfoot @mishgray1 ADF have a building in Canberra. DFAT have a building in Canberra. Even with the NBN as crap as it is I reckon they might have found a way to communicate IF they had initiative to do so. That appears to be what was lacking in this story.

Ok so once again my internet connection flakes out - tell me again who decided not to get Australia the more expensive NBN infrastructure because we’d never all be on the internet at the same time 24/7 … oh yeah that’s right 🤔

@NewtonMark @acccgovau The public good is that Telstra stops misleading customers. Even if there is no improvement to the NBN connection available to any particular customer. Note that in the case in TFA, the competition for NBN was provided by the 4G network... possibly Telstra's.
