  @robb_j_m Outside the urban centres, $139 a month for Starlink. NBN for me was a slow and expensive skymuster satellite. Thanks Elon.

  @robb_j_m I was that happy with the FTTN NBN I had I went with Starlink when it was available in my area in November 2021. I know I can now get FTTP , but I put up with an ordinary service for for a long time and can’t be bothered changing.

  To my Aussie friends: Wasn't the idea behind the NBN (National Broadband Network) to ensure that everyone had inexpensive access to the internet? What happened? How much are you paying for internet access?

  @robb_j_m Starlink. A satellite connection through the NBN in our rural area was a bit of a nightmare. Starlink is reliable, no limits on usage, and we never get throttled. I'll never go back.

  @DWybar2 @robb_j_m @Optus Change providers. Aussie broadband were great in pin pointing the issue, providing all the info to nbn to prove there was an issue and getting it fixed.

  @WaveTheoryUK @robb_j_m Hopefully your area will be enabled for the free fibre upgrade and you'll actually get the proper nbn rather than the crap LNP rolled out.
