  @LambDownUnder @bigboatbruce @james00000001 We never had true competition before because Telstra controlled it all. We wouldn't be in the mess if LNP didn't sell Telstra as a single entity despite being advised to split. Then they wouldn't split and participate in the nbn build similar to NZ.

  Albanese Government spends $3.8 billion dollars to connect 622,000 homes to NBN. A Starlink set up for the same number of homes is $12 million. The Albanese Government is as stupid as it gets.

  And Telstra support said it was a fault, after a hour and a half of trouble shooting. I checked NBN and looks like a service outage in our area - checked a couple of addresses in our road. How long do these usually take to resolve? I was looking forward to a good long weekend :(

  @bluewavedream Simplistic and childlike. Starlink is just a service with costs comparable to Australia's first tier. NBN is Australian owned infrastructure. Not 12 Million. 515 Million per year. Every year. And still own nothing. Your definition of 'stupid' is...?

  There has been recent tropical cyclone, outage occurred here. I have a occasional internet interference not able to use wifi hope to see wifi improvements at Upper Nerang, for some reason New Street, Nerang Lower Nerang has this NBN Wifi, and Upport Nerang Business precint don't.
