Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

@AGLEnergy I’ve been TRYING to connect my NBN for over 3 days now, through a modem supplied by AGL that I paid outright for & each time I’ve called you for help I am “guaranteed” it will work within an hour… Day 4, still no internet 😡😡😡 Cust Service closed on weekends too!!

So over my Telstra NBN connection, nothing but trouble for weeks . We keep getting text messages "your issue has been fixed" Then down it goes again. At least fortnightly for the last few months. So frigging over it!!

Oh man, I miss the days of dial-up Internet. I hate that we're stuck with this slow and unreliable fixed wireless NBN service. It's literally unusable during so called peak times & more miss than hit at other times. #Auspol #NBN #Internet

@joshgnosis Why, oh why, everything tech is so difficult in Australia? There are so many examples of botched IT programs, a quick list from recent years: census fail, nbn, robodebt, now this. And on a smaller scale, I see everyday how poorly implemented are IT systems in private companies.

@TheRealPBarry Optus have always been a very poor NBN provider. The smaller players like Aussie Broadband, Superloop, Launtel etc. provide a far better service.

It is completely unacceptable that NBN Co has a 48–72 hour response time for faults and issues. Power, water, and other utilities aren't this bad, so the internet wholesaler needs to be held to a higher standard.
