    Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

    @Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

    Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

    And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

    @h_zurcher @NeolithicSheep Yup! That’s the problem with the “fibre to the node” rather than “to the premises”. Bloody NBN, obsolete before it had finished rollout. Very stressful for wfh!

    @Optus you have to be one of the most incompetent companies in Australia. After numerous phone and chat sessions which have consumed over 4 hours of my time and still have to wait 24 hours and have another call to upgrade my NBN. #OPTUS #FAIL #NBN

    @PeterKlages @Telstra I've had bad experiences before. But my latest issue was that the nbn went down. I requested a call back. They called immediately. Spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to fix it. That didn't work. Booked a technician who came and fixed it 2 days later. I was surprised.

    I've had a number of issues with WiFi connection and email for some time. I just rang Telstra & got through immediately. I spoke to 3 different teams regarding my numerous issues. They were all in Australia and have almost solved my issues... Thank You @Telstra & @NBN_Australia

    @NBN_Australia Well I'm my service provider was NBN directly then my data wouldn't have to bounce to some corp head office to get counted and come back before it gets out of the country. . Only Aust libs would think that's best practice and on copper pots and pans no less.....

    @PeterKlages @Telstra Disastrous long term history with Telstea. Planned to ditch them when we moved down here 7 years ago but thwarted as the internet connection was through Foxtel cable so it was Telstra or go back to ADSL. Celebrated when NBN came as I could ditch #Telstra for all time.
