@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

@ThornburyRocks I turned the ringer off on mine about 10 years ago. Still available in an emergency for calls out*. As long as the nbn is up and running.

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@NBN_Australia Thanks, that’s been done. The provider is aware however, they can only say it will be back by 31/3/21 at 6pm.. what I am asking is how can a fault take 2 days to fix.. that is not a provider question, that is an NBN issue. The provider isn’t working on the lines.

@sofieformica Nbn doesn't supply the router. You will have to talk to the retail service provider to find out why the WIFI signal is less than your previous router.

@twcau yep - hopefully they will fix this up one day.. they have nbn enterprise symmetrical plans (up to 10Gb) but they cost ridiculous amounts.. meanwhile in NZ they have 8gb/8gb now for price we pay for 50/20..

@Telstra Turns out the number is bundled with a Telstra NBN plan and this is the reason why the number is reporting as inactive and cant be ported. While the issue isnt completely fixed at least I can try something else to get this process moving.

Currently in the middle of swapping over routers to diagnose if my TP-Link modem might be causing the NBN NTD box to report system faults. Might do **** all, but hey worth a shot I guess

NBN was very unhelpful and said the red light issue would have to get worse and I’d have to see speed dropping down to 6/1 or 5 dropouts within 24 hours. Apparently tons of packet loss and lag is acceptable on NBN FW. Not acceptable in my books, but what else can I do?
