@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@natecochrane Optus / Telstra / Vodafone dug their own graves when they demanded the NBN become a multi-technology network This will indirectly accelerate the demise of copper cable and oddball wireless systems in the big data cleanup Starlink is looking good.

@gwynne007 @Optus If my data was stolen, ID fraud would be my biggest concern. And, based on my experiences with companies that ask for 100 point ID - banks, telco, nbn, energy company - it will definitely solve the Idenity Fraud issue.

@Asher_Wolf Which ain't to say NBN is fast (often isn't). But there's an obligation for NBN to hook you up, whereas Starlink can pick and choose (and cut and run on services). And *some* competition on prices, where Starlink is a private service.

@iwantmynbn btw my copper NBN is about to be "maintained" for 2nd time in 2 months, depriving me of 2 full days of (casual) wfh. Been down other times too. 3rd world shite

@Asher_Wolf Depends on which of NBN Co/Elon you consider to be the lesser evil. (FTTN would probably be the 'buy once cry once' option, if Starlink shuts down unexpectedly that's that.)

@TPG_Telecom I have an outage at home. Nothing listed on your site or on NBN, and I can’t access my tpg account either, keep getting an error message! Help, postcode 3071.

@droverdriver61 1. Because it’s ‘schooling’ not ‘education’. A lot of it is chronic underfunding. Under resourcing etc of education system(s). Families which don’t value education / poor literacy at home. Then there’s less libraries on communities and poor national NBN access

Just one damn web page please. (Actually, one web page per CPE variant.) All it needs to contain is a photograph of an NBN branded Arris modem, its power supply, the coaxial cable, and a notice in large font saying "THIS STUFF DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU. IT STAYS WITH THE BUILDING."

@Asher_Wolf I thought FTTN was dead. Why not FTTC? In selected areas i think where predicted NBN speeds are bad enough, Telstra (at least) offers 5G fixed wireless.

@NBN_Australia @Internode Right. Enough is enough. @Internode, no more bills will be paid to you until this is fixed. 5x drop outs in the last 15 minutes and I just lost a **** tonne of work. This is supposed to be a premium level of internet.
