@mheywood88 @JohnRHewson I had that problem in my old address. One of the pits was at the bottom of a hill, so it filled with rain water. Each time, a tech would advise that the pit was OK (when it wasn't raining) It only got fixed when NBN crew broke the pit requiring it to be rebuilt ....

  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

I’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

My home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

  • KeithMacqueen Keef (@KeithMacqueen) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

  • coelmay Coel (@coelmay) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

  • debbiedean1966 Debbie dean (@debbiedean1966) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Aussie_BB The NBN service is down. The NBN website says it is not down. It is definitely down. The 4 lights on the NBN box won’t power up correctly. Your phone support just goes round and round in a loop of music not answering my calls.

  • David_J_Ward David Ward (@David_J_Ward) reported

@Aussie_BB The NBN service is down yet again. The NBN site says there are no outages. That is a lie. The NBN is definitely down. Power Cycling makes no difference. When are you going to fix the problem?

  • MikeFrazer1 Mike Frazer (@MikeFrazer1) reported

@optus_help There is an unplanned NBN outage at the moment; internet has been unavailable for 5+ hours

  • CipherHashau 🇦🇺 CipherHash 🇦🇺 (@CipherHashau) reported

@IncogIntellect @Telstra Worse, this is for an NBN service I should have already swapped it to starlink, they've got 1.5hr before they lose another fixed services customer.

  • Portenio1950 @Porteño (@Portenio1950) reported

No need to increase taxes, fix the mess you created instead: -Stop bringing refugees Perennial Welfare parasites. -Fix NDIS 50 Bn costs. -Fire 1 Million salary useless Bureaucrats -Stop Net Zero Fraud and Renewables subsidies -Stop Foreign Aid money laundering. -Fix NBN 35 billion loses Australia deserves better #Auspol2025

  • ReecePickens Reece Pickens (@ReecePickens) reported

@sbxr Clear warning about government investment advice not being worth anything. Still wasting money on NBN when starlink has solved that. In fact if not for Elon hate hydrogen could have been avoided when he warned it could never work.

  • binxinatorr binx (@binxinatorr) reported

Vibes NBN is looking for players! What we need Back up Flex/Soft Supoort Back up Hard Support

  • DarylGrigs JohnS (@DarylGrigs) reported

Maybe that's something to research further. Did you know that you can send data (aka the internet) through the powerlines? It's well known in the united states, they even considered doing it here in oz a few of years ago when discussing the nbn rollout. My smart meter is in a steel box on the outside of my house, and I also have thick foil between me and the powerbox but my smog meter shows large spikes of signal are being generated by the smart meter, I think that the house wiring is used as an antenna so that the meter can connect to the local cell tower, I spoke to an electrician about it and he said that they are probably using the house wiring as I just described. Are you a smoker Scott?

@ausstockchick Let’s cut negative gearing to help the disabled. Yeah? If the LNP hadn’t bastardised it like the NBN it would have worked as planned. Good news Labor are actually looking to help our disabled.

  • karmay0gi Vignesh (@karmay0gi) reported

@LFC_Australia @justinpa1 I have two services running on Optus. I ported one number to TPG for a very good deal for 6 months and a discounted rate after that, since I have TPG NBN. I also got a very good deal for my other Optus service, which my wife uses.
