@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

Vodafone 5g home internet through TPG absolutely shits all over Telstra and NBN. And the ease of signing up, speed of delivery, and easy set up is awesome. 6 weeks trying to get copper cables run from the house to the pit and bugger all customer service. Telstra and NBN a joke

@miriamcosic It's their main job! I remember having so much trouble getting the phone on with Telstra a couple of times when relocating before NBN. It was their bread and butter!

@Ballyurra Yes, it seems lightening is now attracted to our retirement village's copper networks on the end of NBN lines in, like never before - 2 years, 2 storms have blown out electrical devices through power cables, phone lines and antenna cables(single digital antenna for whole village)

monty (@evensteveens) reported
@Ballyurra And when you live in the bush and get NBN from a tower, you lose it when the power goes off! So keep your landline if you have bad mobile coverage! The rules say you can, if it comes from a tower! For emergencies!

Internet went down here earlier. I assumed an NBN fault but it turns out my Netcomm router decided to have a little nap for a few hours. Woken up by a power cycle. That's new. Maybe a bug in the new firmware :(
