    @LooksDodgy @robb_j_m was on nbn fixed wireless, got tired of the outages and billing issues with my ISP, shifted to starlink. faster, far less outages and almost identical price. as a bonus starlink bills once per month, former isp billed every 28 days. that's nearly $100 a year less.

    @jeff32567916 @australian He recognised that NBN via wifi (using mobile phone network) is a bad idea, when the mobile phone towers back up battery's go flat (couple if hours) we have no communication at all, we should all still have wired communication but we don't so it's very easy to switch it all off

    @mark16pg It was supposed to be a cheaper alternative to batteries, turns out batteries came down in price, nbn was supposed to do the same with internet and starlink rendered it useless as well.

    Wow... #Starlink have dropped their price to around 1/10th of what it was, to try to attract customers in Australia, who are mainly, of course, on the #NBN. And for the first four months it's even cheaper than that, during their current promotion. Just a shame it's so slow.

    @AlanBixter I’m not a hater but I can’t decide if I hate Medibank Private or Telstra / NBN more? Telstra / NBN sent 15 techies to fix our Internet problem & many phone calls all while our kids doing Uni exams & 1 wtg for cardiac surgery. Stress ++ Good luck Alan coz you’ll need it 🙏
