    Hey @Optus - NBN modem issue, flashing red light and clicking, used ‘Message Us’ in app and for booted told to call 133937, but recorded message there saying to use app! What am I supposed to do to get tech support?? No internet, no home phone!!

    The technician came and my internet is still broken. There is an open fault ticket for the @nbn network team to fix the network tap in the pit at the front of the house. According to @Telstra, there is no ETA on the fix.

    The @NBN tech came. The carrier signal strength is - 15dB. Max is - 10dB. So it's too weak to work. But it's raining, and their test equipment isn't waterproof. So they couldn't check the connection box at the side of the house. So, day off work for zip. @Telstra

    @ScottRhodie It’s so stupid that developers are even allowed to do this. They should be required to install the fibre and provide the hand off to NBN. Same for embedded energy networks too.

    Hi @Telstra. My internet has been down for 3 weeks. The @NBN tech was a no show for the first appointment. Just had an SMS scheduling another appt for tomorrow. The @Telstra faults operater in Australia just hung up on me. If I ran my med practice that way, I would be in jail.

    @Stella_Cluster @DoctorKarl Once you are on NBN,(basically everything) , no power,no phone. Solution is to add back up power where the premiss connects to the network apparently.

    @Telstra The @Telstra faults person hung up on me when I insisted she contact @NBN to find out what was going on. Is the fault at my premisis, or in the area as I was previously told? As far as DMs go. I've wasted hours down that rabbit hole before, for absolutely no gain.

    @Your_Avg_Punter Worse than that if he wasn’t involved in breaking the original vision for NBN it would have been easy to set up micro or community providers to so small population centres could service themselves.

    @Energex So two crews turn up unannounced breakfast time at the front of my house in Arundel on Friday. When I come home from work coincidentally my nbn & internet is down & after ringing with no help or solution learn there was an ‘incident’ around lunchtime but no explanation!

    I’m also skeptical of proposals to build a public network. We don’t need more infrastructure when it already exists, and Australia’s NBN shows what happens when you set out to build a public network, then a right-wing government gets elected and purposefully messes with it.

    @robertsanne00 @CraigHill01 @billshortenmp Had problems with Optus eg not connecting NBN for months as previous owner did not disconnect & poor service. Only way got fixed was via ombudsman. Optus did not like this either. Left Optus mid Nov, still sending bills. Ombudsman great, forces them to help

    @MrKRudd @FinancialReview You developed a plan for the NBN in 2009, but only implemented on existing optic fibre networks such as the Tas Hydro one. JG's gang was never going to let it get off the ground, less it interfere with your planned departure

    Urghh woke up early with bubs & stupid me decided to message about my wifi going off with my fetch box. Next minute 2.5 hours gone & nbn guy coming out next week + transferring my mobile + new nbn plan to save money. Last hurdle & fell over now waiting on a call at 11 to fix 😖
