@Stella_Cluster @DoctorKarl Once you are on NBN,(basically everything) , no power,no phone. Solution is to add back up power where the premiss connects to the network apparently.

@Aussie_BB hey folks, just got an email about an NBN outage, but it went to my old email address. Can you check to see if there’s somewhere in your records that may not be updated? Invoices & other emails have gone to the right spot, just this outage notice is misdirected.

@NBN_Australia Yes, I checked the page. It was no big deal, with the 4g back up at 20mbps we didnt really experience any disruptions. The service came back on some time before the next morning.

Alright, good ISPs for the Illawarra? My current provider has closed and bumped me onto someone else, and now I only get 1/3 of the speed I was getting before. I have NBN, but the **** NBN, I dont have FTTP. Not touching TPG or Optus, so dont even recommend them.

@fictillius It’s incredible how poor the NBN is. In the year and a half back we’ve had a dozen outages. And now that Foxtel is internet based we lose everything in an outage.
