    @Teh_Jkr @Optus @Optus I have 5 services with Optus and have been a customer for 12 years. My NBN internet has been really poor, yet I’m charged full price with no real offer. As soon as I get time from my busy life, I’ll be switching all my services.

    @ruicharadrius If your wifi is bad, get a different AP. It is exactly the same wifi standards used globally. Or do you mean your internet connection? That isn't wifi. I have FTTP NBN. It works fine.

    @GATESDK We should really switch, we have no problems up at the property with the Starlink, but the NBN here in the city is pathetic, sick of hot spotting off my phone.

    I’m thankful I have NBN Fibre but even with that I will never use cloud gaming. why would the local computing die anyway? This AI craze will die quicker than the computer. Phones and laptops still need to be need built. What’s going to stop is that PCs will no longer be cheap

    @Sauronlordking If there is one thing I didn't mind from the ALP that would be the NBN in its original form. Then this idiot came around and mutilated it into his own little mixed up mess. That now has to be unraveled at even more expense!!!

    I woke up to find my Internet is down. I'm typing this via an unusably slow emergency backup mobile access function. I hope my fibre connectivity comes back up soon. The problem is with either my ISP(RSP), or the #NBN, more likely the former.

    @eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.

    All this talk about personal computing dying and what not, I (Steve) decided to try GeForceNOW (Australia) Ultimate using Wireless NBN, Starlink and 5G. My review is this: It's really bad, f@&ing sucks. Thank you for your time.
