    @tonywbrown @mukimu A game that could have been avoided with a more appropriate technology choice. I don't blame NBN for this, they're just implementing the policy they were given and trying to make the best of it. The issue from the start had been bad govt policy. LNP made it worse.

    One attempt to fix the scarcity mindset online, at least: turn the NBN back on. Might take a day or two (in the meantime, may as well splurge the 5G, lol). Was disconnected 3 months. In the state I was in, maybe understandable. But I need to fix staring at meters, of all kinds.

    @KateEmerson88 Lion has 2 NBN connections because he has 2 landline numbers for reasons. He currently has only one internet connection. He wonders if he can get a second internet connection and use 'concurrent' mode, to increase the speed. His gear supports it, but does the NBN support it?

    Of course the NBN in my area goes down when I need to finish my EW prep. Christ, tethering to my phone is disgusting. I haven't had speeds this bad since 2005.

    This is ridiculous, @Telstra my NBN service has consistently been dropping out for now 3 weeks. We have called more then once. It becomes extremely hard and frustrating to achieve anything when my connection drops out every 5-10 minutes.

    @abcnews Ookla speed tests are based on the actual speed of the users connection when a speed test is conducted. I don't know about others, but I don't usually speed test when I can connect, I do it when I am having slowness - which is practically never on my 100/40 mbps NBN plan.
