@NewtonMark @NBN_Australia I got a response from the complaints team today, re-sending me the email claiming it was fixed. NO SHIT SHERLOCK - TAKE A LOOK AT THE FSCKING PHOTOS AND TELL ME IF IT LOOKS FIXED AS YOUR EMAIL CLAIMS. Sorry for that, but the lack of giving-a-fsck from your end is astonishing.

@bigjsl @iPilko @NBN_Australia He literally was not equipped to fix it. This requires digging up conduit and climbing a power pole. They were equipped to do basic cable repairs, not civil engineering work.

What gets me about the #NBN is they are totally unaccountable for any problems. Always the service provider. And if you get a Tech to call they are incompetent and do nothing. I will go to the node, and are never seen again. Well done LNP you have done well in screwing the place.

@royfrancisbrown @ssharwood @NBN_Australia @Telstra I thought they acquired it, then realised what a steaming pile of crap it was, and decided not to bother using it. Optus and Telstra cable largely shadowed each other anyway. No point having both for the majority of locations.

@iPilko @bigjsl @NBN_Australia A contractor actually showed up, but said it isn't something he could fix, but he was having it assigned to a different team. Callout for him, his offsider and their truck was several hundred dollars (a high single-digit number of hundreds).

@NBN_Australia Our provider can't do anything as it's an NBN issue, and all your status page says is "An unplanned incident is affecting the network". We're well over 24 hours without internet, an hour or two I understand as a normal outage but this is now quite frustrating.

@NBN_Australia The letter from Telstra clearly states the best speed to be expected is 13 mbs I have contacted them and as a result led me to lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman

The problem is that I also work from home and my home seems to be a dead spot for Optus phone reception. Which means that I become 100% disconnected from the world every time that happens
