purana (@purana) reportedThe latest in the NBN FTTN connection request for my mum is they are still valuating what changes they need to do on network to connect her. Basically NBN didn't project plan things correctly with the nearby street re-alignment.

FarCue (@FarCueCunce) reportedJust had the Indian "tradie" experience. Our ISP offered free connection to the NBN fibre network so they sent out the installer. Long story short, I rejected his ludicrous proposal to destroy my concrete slab driveway so they could run the shortest cheapest route of cables.

A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

Paul Barby (@PaulJBarby) reported@AGLEnergy internet has been down for 14+ hours. HFC NBN, hard-wired setup, two known-working routers tested, cables changed, NBN box reset. Router sends PPPoE PADI but gets no PADO, so this is failing before login/auth. Please stop looping basic Wi-Fi scripts and escalate to NBN
