  • yutrops Pavan Kundur (@yutrops) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@SkillUpYT This lockdown would be more enjoyable if the nbn wasn’t horrible

  • MsDovic Dianne Draganovic (@MsDovic) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@fi_shep @TurnbullMalcolm Although the NBN is shit. So he’s not off the hook, but i know deep down he’d care.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@davidcrisp666 @NewtonMark @NBN_Australia Optus didn't give a shit once they realised they were being paid by NBN for it. NBN stopped caring once they realised the POS the Optus network that they'd bought was. The surprise when they "found out" about the state of the Optus network was laughable.

  • hitinman Just Davo (@hitinman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Still no #NBN Been down all morning. Just using my limited capacity on my phone. What a crock of shit this network is. And you want people to work from home,......

  • berniecoen Bernie Coen (@berniecoen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@bengrubb Ben I ditched NBN to hot-spot fron my phone and boom! Not a problem steaming Netflix etc. I and to avoid massive download I lowered the settings mode. Unless u have a 4K and it's in 4k u don't need the highest streaming. Pic looked exactly the same

  • hitinman Just Davo (@hitinman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Spruiking by #NBN Of capacity. It is hopeless under pressure. As for uploading too slow. Gov fault at this.

  • ShutUp_AJ Binge Thinker, the BCB (@ShutUp_AJ) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    - Make the nbn free to all - Pressure mobile phone providers to not charge - legislate ban on evictions til this is over - leave for casuals - power and water bills to be capped - Stimulus payouts to all by taxable income ala 2008 Get ******** into it

  • fictillius 🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

A colleague is having WFH issues. Got a speed test done. It’s ASDL 14/0.8. Got them to call their ISP (iiNet) to upgrade to HFC NBN which is ready for service. iiNet told them it would not increase their internet speeds 🤦🏻

  • hitinman Just Davo (@hitinman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

After a 15 hour #NBN Outage it comes back.

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@warkolm @kvgoldsmith @NBN_Australia Honestly I use my nbn satellite service as a backup - not as my primary. I get better (still painfully slow) speed on my 3G antenna setup. I am one of the lucky ones.

  • simonpallister Simon Pallister (@simonpallister) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

27 hours into an @NBN_Australia / @iiNet outage, still no word on when it will be fixed. Complete lack of info from both parties

  • urban_reverie Urban Reverie (@urban_reverie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I’m in self-isolation, my HFC NBN is down *yet again*, and wait times for iiNet technical support are over an hour. Everything is awesome.

  • AndrewColley Andrew Colley (@AndrewColley) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Last night @Ausgrid moved power on my st u'gnd. Partial outage was expected. #hfc cut out eventho I still had power. @Telstra assured me that it needed @NBN_Australia tech visit; wld take days. Telstra calls 2day & says it was a "scheduled" NBN outage & the network shld be up🤔🤔

  • HappySinger Dave The Happy Singer (@HappySinger) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm @theanthonyhayes @rhysam Even at the best of times, my NBN is not much better than ADSL was, because it's still delivered over the same broken copper. Sure the peak speeds are higher, but it's still flaky. Not reliable for videoconferencing.

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Vic_Rollison Except that @HonTonyAbbott, @TurnbullMalcolm & @ScottMorrisonMP have totally stuffed the NBN. I’ve got to 4G Broadband for an affordable and superior service. These pricks have set the country back decades just because they hate Labor & are infected with born-to-rule delusion.

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@seamus @brett_gibson @charlietech @wendy_harmer @robbie_buck @abcsydney There are two reasons people have legitimate NBN complaints. 1/ They scored FTTN and got the furthest drop from the Node. 2/ they have shit wifi. And number 2 is far more prevalent

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@brett_gibson @seamus @charlietech @wendy_harmer @robbie_buck @abcsydney Spot on, most people get the shits when they go from cable at 112Mbps to NBN at 94Mbps real world, THEY WOULD NEVER EVER NOTICE!

  • m2plater Merrick Plater (@m2plater) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Terrible shame that LNP took over our NBN and destroyed it.

  • hitinman Just Davo (@hitinman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Yay the internet returns after a 13hour outage. I bet it was switched off at the exchange to re route capacity. #NBN.

  • DavJenks David Jenkins (@DavJenks) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@iiNet The interaction with iinet staff was fine, no complaints at all. NBN technician comes out Monday morning. That will play havoc with online schooling and me working from home. Hopefully this recurring problem will be fixed on nbn tech visit #3.

@jamstion @Aussie_BB Very much so. It was an issue previously with the NBN copper line. Aussie told us NBN fixed it

  • sidetrakked Anjali (@sidetrakked) reported

@telstra been waiting on the phone close to an hour, I’ve messaged too. My nbn has been down for over an hour (ACT), website says there’s no outage. Can someone please help?

  • CalcioTommasino tommasino (@CalcioTommasino) reported

@anthony_eden @Telstra @Telstra NBN business down. 7005 Tas. On hold for well over 2 hours

  • Anthony23831253 Lionheart (@Anthony23831253) reported from Hay Point, State of Queensland

@DavidBe53174057 Federal government prefers this for us now, order in work on line no need to maintain roads no need for fast rail only if they had have fast NBN that worked there would have been even less of a problem. They dont want us seeing what happening to Australia un less on Sky

  • jamesdean0770 John Wilson (@jamesdean0770) reported

Financial Review reports in latest issue; NBN profit $4.6 billion in year to 30 June 2021. Sounds healthy to me..What did NBN cost? 90 billion? 100 billion? Nice return after all. Not widely reported?

  • mikerawl Michael Rawlings (@mikerawl) reported

@SpectatorOz He’s out of his depth whatever he tries to speak about. An appearance on 7.30 showed he had NO IDEA about the NBN - he looked so stupid that he rarely appeared again. Kerry O’Brien was asking EASY questions too! He’s a mad monk that’s all.

  • iiNet iiNet (@iiNet) reported

@Ewalsh1990 Hi! Fault updates are typically provided after 24-48 hours and delays are expected during the holidays so please bear with us as we look into getting you back online with NBN's help. Our engineering team will contact you as soon as updates become available. -John

  • TheQuietAustra7 Warrior Princess🌸 (@TheQuietAustra7) reported

@Karonleahely @AlboMP The Labor Party Rudd government was elected on 24 November 2007 and initial planning commenced. The NBN was originally to deliver its wholesale service through fibre to the node (FTTN) and reach approximately 98% of premises in Australia by June 2016.😮

  • gemmill_nathan Nathan Gemmill (@gemmill_nathan) reported

@Telstra it seems like NBN services are down. I cannot get an IP address on my router via DHCP. I have also tried to set a static IP on my connection as I pay for a static IP on my connection.

  • PROUDJAYSFAN Adrian Stroe🇨🇦🇷🇴🇪🇺🇦🇺 (@PROUDJAYSFAN) reported

@catherine___c And he too has a $3 million pad in Manhattan and they are both worth nearly $200 million and both are in the CCP back pocket pushing their agenda. Turnbull wasted $40 plus billion on NBN which is crap and both screwed others over to become PM’s and yet Murdoch is the devil
