    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad

    Terrible service from @NBN_Australia One of their field techs accidentally cut off our whole Strata building with a bad telecommunications patch next to the NBN Node. I told the tech (27hours ago) but they went home without fixing it. A Level 2 escalation has yielded nothing. Gr

    Was there an issue with the 4G/5G network in Melbourne, Victoria today?? It seems as I got out of the CBD the network improved but within the metropolitan areas there was issues?? @Starlink at home seems to be operating fine - anyone have NBN issues?

    The three telcos and government-owned NBN Co were left reeling when the regulator rang to notify them of its final pricing decision – a token $20m reduction to renew spectrum licences essential for carrying mobile signals. ACMA’s decision will result in the sector collectively paying peak market rates of $7.32bn to roll over their existing spectrum holdings as licences begin expiring from 2028. Much of that cost will find its way on to customer bills. More inflation incoming!

    @SimonBanksHB “Modelling shows” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Labor modelling also gave us $275 lower power bills, mining tax revenue, a surplus and NBN timelines that never arrived. Publish the assumptions, not just the headline. Young Australians deserve evidence, not spin.

    No idea exactly who's staying and who's going (we'll likely find out soon enough), but one hopes Nine proper or 2HD/the Super Radio Network* may pick up some displaced NBN staff. *Come on, ex-NBN News talent can't be any worse than some of the presenters they've got right now!
