    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    Lol I thought it was pretty crap I had to wait 3 days for someone to come out and do all the NBN **** but I read the text wrong and they aren't coming until next Thursday. So sick our 3rd world internet bullshit.

    This is like the bad old days of the time I was on TPG. Everything worked fine until you needed support. It's interesting the 8 years I was on Internode NBN I never needed technical support.

    7th tech visit lined up for tomorrow. How many will be needed before they fix the fibre? It’s possible the previous visits have been Telstra retail customer support so this may be first actual nbn tech onsite.

    @FionaMJohnson3 There would be an ethernet cable between the NTD and your wifi router. But ethernet or wifi, it wont do you much good if the NBN is down.

    6 other NBN faults in our apartment building. Seems the fibre core carrying packets from the nbn to the building has broken while the core carrying packets the other way has not. I thought the key advantage of managed services is, you know, monitoring performance.

    @David_Threlfo Might as well shut the station and give it to Nine. The new studios have been a disaster for NBN. Still having issues with the news and switching. No one seems to care in the management. As for history. They don’t care about that either..

    @nogulagsagain Had a friend tell me yesterday that while on a call with NBN customer service, the Indian born gentleman told her that he has to work in Australia because Australians are lazy and don’t won’t to work. She reported him.

    @yaakov_h @Optus Thanks for the tip. Just woken up for the 2nd day in a row to find our NBN router looking for a signal, and the Optus outage page telling me there's no issue at my address. I just Just checked the street though, and, lo & behold: "reduced service".
