    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @TopherField Satellite has been about forever, the government never got in its way, I had it and it was ****. I used NBN relatively successfully over inferior satellite technologies until Starlink came along. Your opinions don’t appear to align with my experiences accurately.

    @jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 The NBN was flawed from the start but it sounds good so it had widespread public support. High speed internet would have been delivered by private sector with some govt support for rural Australia & it would have almost certainly been done quicker & cheaper.

    @STEVEFI14205588 when power and all communications services were out for 6 days after last flood my ISP disconnected my NBN service because i could not go online to pay my bill because the NBN and all mobile service was down. ironic that even when there is no service we still have to pay for it.

    @Starlink Hi, I received the Starlink kit today. I thought the installation would be easy, but I found it difficult. I have decided to keep my NBN service instead, so I would like to cancel my Starlink service and return the kit. Please let me know the return process. Thank you.

In the instance that your Optus modem that does not facilitate 4G back-up, our teams will look to provide interim support such as the Optus Internet Assistance Kit.     My @NBN has been down since 9am & they won't come to fix issue till Monday - 4 days (2nd time in 2 wks)! My Telstra hotspotting is weak. Time to hook up with @starlink Issue here is local installer charges an arm/leg etc to install sys on roof etc. I may have to suck it up.

    @LeeroyLives @AngusTaylorMP So looking at that graph, the trajectory of expanding debt started under rudd and gillard and never went down Sounds about right. Looks to start that trajectory after the nbn started construction and ndis came about.

    No wifi today, we've had some electrical problems, mainly to do with the washing machine. That just means a relaxing Sunday of playing them games (now that the electricity is on). (NBN always takes a long time to recover.)
