  It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

  @NBN_Australia is a joke. For the 2nd time in 2 wks my connection is down - their fault. They can't come out to fix it till next Monday! If I can find a reputable @STARLINK installer in my regional area, I'd be thankful (Jervis Bay NSW). I'm past climbing on roofs these days. Any recommentations? My @telstra hot spotting is the pits.

Some of 'em have 2 walk 6ks up the road 2 GET MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL. HELLO, HELLO? Oh!   When that idiot Rudd committed to spending $Billions on the NBN I said it was a waste of $. If it made sense a private co would've done it. It may had made sense in the big cities but that's it. It's obsolete.

  @TTAlwaysWins I’m pretty sure our issue is water ingress in the pits. When it rains it stops working. The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasn’t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.

  @TopherField I tried for 6 months to get my faulty NBN fixed (FTTN - copper/xdsl for the last 0.9km). NBN blamed the retailer who blamed NBN. I gave up and put in Starlink and have never looked back (4 years ago). NBN dug up the street 2 years ago to install fibre to the premises - I have a pit at the boundary of my property. My property is marked as 'NBN Ready'. Problem is that they never actaully pulled any fibre in the street !! The NBN is a huge scam.

  @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

  @TopherField Worst decision I made getting nbn. Nothing but issues since installation. Massive lemon. Stay away.
