    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @PaulBongiorno Try living in rural Vic and getting an Australian made fixed satellite NBN service. Up until Starlink our snowfields resembled dial-up and we could not watch a streaming service without the loading circle popping up every minute or two.

    @RobERussell1 @FranMooMoo Yes it is. I did some checking&at the moment I'm better off staying with the NBN network. I have told this to Elon many times,but I never get an answer. Same goes for his paid premium subscription to X. It sounds reasonable in American dollars, but that explodes in our currency.

    @senatorbabet Especially because most of it is wasted on unbelievably stupid **** like fraud, foreign aid, renewables crap, not to mention the billions wasted on the NBN & the submarines🤬. As much as I hate John Howard buying votes with **** like the baby bonus, at least we had a surplus then

    @ShaneOliverAMP A big part of the problem is that starting from the 2010's more of our spending now goes to megatech platforms that extract Australian revenue without the old local multiplier. When $100 went to Ford or Holden, a retailer or a local media company, a large portion recycled through local wages, suppliers, property, logistics and tax. Now when $100 goes to a global ad platform, streaming service or cloud provider much more can disappear offshore through IP, reseller fees and related party charges with far less local employment or supplier spend despite the use of infrastructure like NBN and roads. So government keeps importing demand and taxing workers harder to fund services while more private spending leaks offshore to low local footprint platforms. That extraction is not productive for our economy and is increasingly an issue, especially when profits are being offshored and Australian taxpayers are unfairly carrying the burden.

    Hey @beourmate MateNBN, I have had zero NBN in my unit for around an hr now, currently using 4G on my mobile. App states nil services issues or outages. Cycled modem + NBN box, still ZERO. No emails from you about scheduled outages? Whats going on? CC @NBN_Australia

    @r0ck3t23 It wont effect providers as much as you think. We have the NBN in Australia and all that happened is everyone became resellers or add on service providers. The telco's wont disappear, they just wont have to pay for infrastructure anymore and become SpaceX resellers.

    @AlanBixter Why, we spent a fortune on the NBN, just go to the countries news service and watch it there.
