    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @VoteLewko @2GB873 I have Boost on my phone. Goes thru the Telstra Network. It was out. My NBN however sailed through no problems with TPG.

    @bazzacc2 Including Malcolm Turnbull who changed the specs of the @NBN_Australia from FTTP to FTTN, thus relying on old copper to transmit from the node to the dwelling It slowed down our broadband speeds significantly to save a few dollars How many billions have we lost in productivity?

    @taipan168 Many corporatised, but publicly owned, entities provide great service. NBN is pretty good for example. Even Australia Post isn’t bad. Govt doesn’t have to equal bad and is much more preferable in monopoly and quasi-monopoly environments.

    @ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder Mate, you're talking to a @Starlink customer... I use it on the Gold Coast, and I'll likely never go back to the NBN, even though I can get fiber, largely because I refuse to pay for something that is intentionally outdated. Outside of the cities, #Starlink is the answer.

    @CC68891975 @SistaRuthDOPD those of us who live where the threat is real now face summer without even basic telecommunications 4G's terrible Telstra contractor trying to fix landlines, out for more than a month, agreed VicEmergency requires data on just for alerts no nbn no wifi hope the new system works

    @Optus Hi Jay, I dont think you can assist me, one of your optus colleagues has told me by phone, nbn is having an unplanned outage, nbn isnt saying how long it will last

    @tim_blee You would think that if you relied on the mobile network to receive payments then you would have a backup should the particular network fail. Maybe have an Optus or Vodafone SIM card handy or re-route your payment system to the NBN? No sympathy for unprepared businesses.

    Waiting for nbn person to fix my internet. Has been down for over 2 weeks. Today my provider will take $$$ from my account to pay for internet i haven't been able to access. Capitalism is a beautiful thing BTW other countries fix stuff on the day but hey, oi oi oi oi

    @ianclarkeAU With today's technology, the NBN simply cannot compete with a wireless network like @Starlink, and that is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future... #Starlink has a LOT of advantages; completely replacing fixed networks is not one of them and won't be anytime soon.

    @Telstra well done. In an unprecedented occurrence after more than 40 years as a customer, Telstra staff - part of the transition team from ADSL to NBN - have, after a series of missteps, done everything single thing they promised to do yesterday. Thank you.
