Oh #PEM, why do you hate me so? Yesterday was so much fun. Up by 7am for NBN internet installation. Spent the day configuring the home network & family devices including the PS4 and actually played a game. Watched some TV with family. Felt alive. Paying for it today. #MECFS #PWME

@NBN_Australia Yeah, no changes at home. Problem is the network has been deteriorating for some time now! Probably @Telstra oversubscribed. Just rubbish now. So ripped off.

  • owen_minogue Owen Minogue (@owen_minogue) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@BelongAU Hi Chris, yes I did check that. Even when the NBN website said there was an unplanned incident in my area effecting my service the Belong Website said there were no issues with connection

  • AussieStorBlog Anthony Vandewerdt (@AussieStorBlog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Hi guys. Telling me exactly 1 minute before you turn off my internet that there is a scheduled outage is a dishonest business practice. Can you please use more honest language ? 1 minutes notice is not “scheduled.” It’s very much “unscheduled”

  • Rachelmor94 Rachel Moran (@Rachelmor94) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra is NBN down in Ripponlea VIC? Nothing on Telstra or NBN outage map but my internets been down for half an hour. Modem has been reset twice.

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Looking at the Government NBN announcement. Always look for what’s Not said, not what’s said. What will the customer connection/reconnection cost and will the customer pay for it

  • Clockdistrict Fall Guy 1649 (@Clockdistrict) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@robertofryan @NBN_Australia ISP are trying but NBN keep rejecting, which is just stupid.

  • DanSilkstone Silk's talkings (@DanSilkstone) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

First day hooked up to @TurnbullMalcolm’s NBN and our 5-laptop homeschool is barely functioning. So exciting to switch from a service that has worked just fine for years to one that is already unable to keep up with what we need it to do.

  • VitoCDoria Vito Doria (@VitoCDoria) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus The internet signal is very poor and it has been since last night. When using the NBN in Reservoir, the speeds are very slow or the internet might even drop out at times. Your website says that there are some problems in my area but it has been 12 hours.

  • MartzMurph Martz (@MartzMurph) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus We have not had internet for the past 2 hours (postcode 3076). My daughter whlist homeschooling was in the middle of a science test online and it dropped out and she couldn't finish. How long will this outage last??? #OptusOutage #Optus #NBN

  • owen_minogue Owen Minogue (@owen_minogue) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Thanks Amy. The NBN website said there wasn’t any service issues in the area until just after Midnight when it was updated advising there was an unplanned incident in the area and the service actually stopped working just after 6pm due to the storm.

  • bjlannen Benjamin Lannen (@bjlannen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Hi Matthew I'm an Optus customer so unsure if this will work. The guy who installed the NBN was from NBN / with a Telstra shirt

  • _TimMcMahon Tim McMahon (@_TimMcMahon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Proposed solution is to use a mobile service if HFC is down. 🙄

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

The way @Telstra can just do tjis really shits me. Hi from Telstra. NBN Co are performing network updates in Camberwell on 21 September 2020. Your home internet service will be interrupted between 12:00AM - 6:00AM for up to 6hrs.

  • owen_minogue Owen Minogue (@owen_minogue) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia It’s just very difficult when your service has been out for hours and the NBN website hasn’t been updated to reflect what’s actually happening until 6hrs later

  • vahidtaslimi Vahid Taslimi (@vahidtaslimi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia my nbn service has not been working since 7pm yesterday. You don’t have any outage on your site but send me an email saying there is an outage. It’s 21st century for god sake! Is there anyway we can hold you accountable for this?

  • owen_minogue Owen Minogue (@owen_minogue) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

.@NBN_Australia is there outages in the 3070 area? The service has been out for hours now

  • dakoyote Coyote (@dakoyote) reported

@NBN_Australia That’s the problem. Nobody we contact has any direct access to the NBN technical team. We’re just getting bounced around from team to case manager, going in circles trying to make progress. I’m not mad with the social media team, I’m mad with the company itself.

  • 2017Ferret The Weather Ferret (@2017Ferret) reported

The NBN engineer is currently looking into my problems with the internet Using my backup Telstra 4G modem now

  • sarahcoxwrites Sarah Cox (@sarahcoxwrites) reported

@NBN_Australia Just to keep you informed, our internet speed this morning was 6mbps. We got 10-20 on ASDL2+. Your service sucks. You connected our suburb, but deemed 20-30 of us not to warrant a node closer than 1.5kms away. Cannot wait for @SpaceXStarlink full roll out.

  • Stoxxie David Lee (@Stoxxie) reported

@Shade_Aurion @Murdoch_RC The multi tech NBN wasn't LNP policy to help News Corp. There's no evidence of it. That's just a conspiracy theory. I don't see the need for an RC as no one has given any good reason for one.

  • moonlightnmagic Anj (@moonlightnmagic) reported

@NBN_Australia my elderly mother can’t get any resolution with her internet issue with her provider @SpinTelAU saying it’s up to her to fix with @Telstra. This isn’t good enough, how can I get someone to check line and pit near her? Put frequently floods and needs maintenance.

  • Arcshite Selke (@Arcshite) reported

@LittlegregjGreg @MarxOutThere The same NBN that Abbott ordered Turnbull to gut and leave us with decades-old infrastructure that needs to be ripped right out and cost more than the original solution was planned to?

  • dakoyote Coyote (@dakoyote) reported

@NBN_Australia They were made aware when we contacted them six days ago. We were told it would only been 2-3 days to fix and it’s bordering on a week now. I understand you don’t have a direct line to the tech team but this is frustrating as we have classes and work we need to do via the net.

  • dakoyote Coyote (@dakoyote) reported

Probably going to be offline for a while. @NBN_Australia came out, ripped our phone line out of the ground with no warning, and left. Now we have no internet OR landline for the next “2 to 3 days” it’s apparently going to take them to fix it. It’s been six days.

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@dakoyote That would be very frustrating. If your provider raised a request with the nbn support team, the correct area of nbn will be made aware of the service issues and work with your provider to get the problem fixed. 1/2

  • paulwoods Paul Woods (@paulwoods) reported

@iiNet Them: @NBN_Australia tests say that it is an internal wiring issue Me: Why would it work for 6 months then suddenly start dropping out around 1pm on Thu? And then somewhat stabilise after iiNet made some changes? Then start again? Them: As I said, it is just minimal dropouts
