Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Dalmore East and nearby locations:

  • stevescicluna Steve Scicluna (@stevescicluna) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus @NBN_Australia If the speed was at least getting above 50 Mbps, I’d attribute it to network congestion. However, 50 Mbps seems to be a hard limit, when I’m paying for 100 Mbps.

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I have responded via DM. The only acceptable solution is to use the internal wiring I had installed when building the house, remove the conduit and perform any repairs needed to the property (inside and out) and clean up your mess.

  • algo_anthill Dancer, your Space Dad 🐝🐝🐝🐝 (@algo_anthill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Well our #nbn connection has been down more in the last half hour than it had been up. I was just trying to get some damn work done.

  • sparxnfrost Lord of Origami and Bearded Giantess (@sparxnfrost) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

They mentioned '*****' in training today, a type of tech issue for a particular nbn class. I lay no claim to being mature, but the entire room couldn't keep a straight face when discussing '*****'...

  • Shami2512 Shamila Gopalan (@Shami2512) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus we signed up for nbn 4 weeks ago & hv not received a modem!! Hv called abt 6x, visited ur store & yet nothing! This is seriously ridiculous! Ur level of service is the worst we have ever experienced!!!

  • mornedownunder 💧Morné Maritz (@mornedownunder) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@lynlinking Yeah they did the same with the NBN. Thought they would have learned but NO. Somewhere down mates of these crooked pollies are laughing because they’ll make double profit once in Aus and the second time selling it at a loss to African pirates. Cognitive dissonance is a b!tch

  • poidahdubya Poidah Dubya (@poidahdubya) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@katherinefeeney Mine said 2 minutes but I’m on the NBN so could be down to that.

  • ayelbee1 Andrea Berner (@ayelbee1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

The sad thing is with some govts we can't afford to have them in power for 4 or 5yrs. The current one is prime example. We have to endure more of what they gave us, bad self-centred, wasteful govt. Look at what we got. NBN ppl hate, money wasted on Murray River & more

  • NoahInRevolt YouthInRevolt (@NoahInRevolt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@TPG_Telecom I’ve had the nbn for a few months now and everytime it rains the internet cuts out. We’ve called support so many times and y’all just tell us to record when it happens. Literally everytime it rains. Fix this.

  • Dr_Phil_K Phil Kavanagh (@Dr_Phil_K) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I must be bored. Just spent 30 mins on phone with 4 diff people trying to get me to access “their server as I have an NBN problem”. Love mucking with scammers and hackers. I start off naive and get smarter as the call goes on. I want them to hang up 🤣 #Hackers #wastetime #fun

  • algo_anthill Dancer, your Space Dad 🐝🐝🐝🐝 (@algo_anthill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I'm at a friend's right now. They haven't had service for four days. Same thing as last time, but then it was two weeks.

  • AntB77 Ant (@AntB77) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@kristoforlawson @iTnews_au @rycrozier Ive been getting 120 down for the past 6 years with Telstra cable. NBN should be using GB speeds

  • RomerJon17 Römer Jonathan | Ansett (@RomerJon17) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I guess I finally fixed the 4G network issue on my Note 8 phone and NBN drop outs over 5 weeks...

  • zhalli1 💧Queen Zhalli ✰♡*•˛❤ (@zhalli1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Coalition know the #NBN is complete shite Never talk about it Media never talk about it You’d think they both had a conspiracy of silence about it

  • ahleach Anthony Leach (@ahleach) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

A lot of people are reporting that their landline phone doesn't work once they've connected to the NBN.

  • misia65 Swallowed by politics 😤😬🖖 (@misia65) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@platykitten I hate this government, so we pay more for the shit service they gave us with the NBN

  • AndrewWirski Andrew Wirski (@AndrewWirski) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

NBN is more evidence that businesses organized by government always turn to shit.

  • GlennHampson Glenn Hampson (@GlennHampson) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@thatdavidhooper I am having heartburn from Optus and NBN.Having them out to repair my NBN fault for a third time in a week.Thank goodness I don’t rely on it to work from home. I would be in strife. With pretty much a duopoly on services and monopoly on network, they don’t really strive to please.

  • BROOKEONES B (@BROOKEONES) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Omg i fixed the internet without having to call tech support or getting help from anyone. Turns out the modem sitting in a puddle returns it to factory settings and I somehow know how to configure the nbn. Yay now I can watch TV in bed again.

  • notMattyMac Matty Mac | sG (@notMattyMac) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

First world prices for third world service and quality. Great work @NBN_Australia you're an absolute disgrace. I'm not even gonna blame @MyRepublicAU because their hands are tied and you'll both handball the blame. No accountability whatsoever.

  • PunishedDilbert pünïshëd dÏlbërt (@PunishedDilbert) reported

@ornkelly @Matthew60299053 @HaydenJOConnor If your 6 mbit/sec HD stream is stuttering on your 25 mbit/sec NBN service it’s probably not the last mile tech that’s causing the problem shaun

  • WatsonsTroops1 WatsonsTroops (@WatsonsTroops1) reported

@fictillius Not a bad idea if they go ahead with it. I have FttP with a gigabit connection in a way its overkill but I enjoy it too, The nbn also probably need some work on their pricing structure

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@missizzyofficer Hi Isabel, sorry to hear about your internet connection issue. Is this for an NBN connection? If so then yes, there is a fault reported in your area NORTHCOTE, VIC, 3070 at the moment. Kartik

  • descry Descry 🇦🇺 // Twitch: DescryAU (@descry) reported

Sorry everyone I'm gonna cancel todays stream. NBN is doing my head in and I'm still trying to limit my bandwidth for the entire router to avoid this NBN Pacer ******* the stream up. Asus WRT does not seem to be able to limit it enough.

  • MG_Coates Michael Coates (@MG_Coates) reported

@AlboMP @AlboMP this is a meaningless statement parrotted by both sides. How about telling us how. Transitioning coal power workers to renewable manufacturing would be a great start. Show us some actual vision that's been sorely lacking since the ALP got beat down on the NBN

  • kaffando Completely over it. (@kaffando) reported

Forced onto @NBN_Australia couple of months ago after very few issues prior. Now, full afternoon on no internet access. On a Friday. Trying to run a business. Thanks #NBN

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@missizzyofficer Our technicians are already aware of this and are working with NBN to fix it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no time frame for resolution at the moment. Apologies for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience. Kartik

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@dvdflwr This has resulted in delays to connect new nbn HFC customers to the nbn network. nbn is continuing to work with industry partners to process and activate HFC orders during this time. 2/3

  • 68dodgephoenix Andrew Halliday (@68dodgephoenix) reported

@HaydenJOConnor @catelizlouise I would prefer they pay the right amount of tax than compensate Murdoch for not innovating. Murdoch got his way with a **** NBN being delivered

  • ornkelly Sean Kelly (@ornkelly) reported

@PunishedDilbert @Matthew60299053 @HaydenJOConnor Speaking of dumb as ****, straw man. If you think the argument is "NBN bad because Foxtel" then you clearly you haven't considered the effect of consumer perception nor speeds in non-metropolitan areas.
