    I’m about 1km south of an @Optus 5G service. I have no 3G/4G service I can rely on currently so have to use wifi calling. NBN or Optus router goes down weekly so I’m left on a desert island. iPhone 12 with 5G comes in November. Here’s hoping 5G will arrive by then #gamechanger

    @Telstra A fault in the street. Requires the NBN team to come back and do works. Apparently that can’t be done till Jan 31st After 2 hours on the phone I managed to get an extra 25GB added to my mobile data. No further resolution possible though I’m told

    @Aussie_BB Thanks but I already called. NBN seems to have told AussieBB as much as they’ve told me - zilch, only “solution” is to just wait until they decide to hook it up properly, in contrast to whatever NBN did the last couple of times 😞

    @strollingrabbi I’d say so. On the other hand, he hasn’t fixed it, so happy to blame him too. I’m currently awaiting my NBN, dreading it. A friend has let me use his speedy network for now, but he knew what questions to ask when his was installed.

    ive now spent 4 days on an issue they assumed i had, which i do not (double nat) as the second local ip is due to how HFC NBN works in australia, but they ignored the reply where i told them that and just asked to see another traceroute without the IP which is impossible

    @DannyTelemachus I've lodged many a complaint! Even had my house internet wiring re-done. NBN technicians have come out once already, found some "touching wires" on the street corner. Hasn't fixed it though.
