@TPG_Telecom My NBN internet has stopped working for the past hour. My modem shows it's still online, but websites are not loading. Is there a problem?

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Thank you, I take note. But I am aware of scam methods and handle them. It’s the annoyance of the multiple calls, that’s the real problem. I have to let people know, if they don’t leave a message, they won’t get to me. I won’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know.

  • Dlanorx Arrr Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra How do you sort out your problem, when your NBN is not working. Your modem has diverted to mobile which as usual is extremely poor, so no service, but your mobile phone is diverting to wifi. How and who do you contact?

  • adapt20301 Scientists not Bloggers 🌏 🏳️‍🌈 (@adapt20301) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DaveMilbo Our apartment tower has 2 independent providers that we can get up to 300mbs up & down. Late last year we all had fliers in our mailboxes advertising excitedly that NBN had come to our building! Needless to say the communal bin was full of those fliers...

  • geoff_craig GeoffroC 🏏🐶🥃🚗 (@geoff_craig) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia If only that were true. Your infrastructure is the issue.

NBN is out so I’m going to chainsaw some branches of a tree causing gutter damage. I wonder which emergency hospital is closest if I stuff up. #howhardcoulditbe #virginchainsaw

  • Cashcharlie Cashel Walsh (@Cashcharlie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra we were told we had to switch to nbn before 30/01 so signed up. Guy came yesterday couldn’t finish it due to some issue. said Telstra would be out today to complete - no one has showed and no internet! My wife works from home and needs the internet urgently!! Any advice?

  • Natski82 ✨ Miss Natski ✨ (@Natski82) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It's a new service being set up, so that everything is via telstra, because of the nbn, so when the second technician came out, they said it would be connected by Jan 5th. He assumed it would be to coincide with the next bill, but nothing

  • andyyapwh Andy Yap (@andyyapwh) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

It has been 4 days since my NBN service is basically unusable. A subscription at 100mbps running at 0.6mbps. NBN keep saying it is under investigation and produce no positive outcome. I am not surprise all users will start to adopt faster and more reliable 5G. #NBN #TPG

@Lab5Luke @CitiPower Yep. Yet the @NBN_Australia is still down in Hawthorn East. Ridiculous.

  • adam_voigt Adam Voigt 🐯🏆 (@adam_voigt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Skimming back through my weeks long forced SMS interaction with @Telstra to access the office @NBN_Australia service in paying for I see: * 39 apologies and assurances. * 9 instances of blaming another Telstra department. * 0 commitments to fixing the problem. * no end in sight.

  • GENOMEgg Genome (@GENOMEgg) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Steeberino Oh I'm talking about routers, not ISPs, though I'm also going with aussiebb! 5 years of NBN and they've never been an option, so very excited!

  • adam_voigt Adam Voigt 🐯🏆 (@adam_voigt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

So disappointed (not surprised) with the lack of support from @Telstra today. They insist on sending a @NBN_Australia tech to my office who turns the internet off on me before leaving. They now refuse to answer me (for hours) on their SMS service. My business is harmed by this.

  • STiIIG0LDEN BRITT ✨ (@STiIIG0LDEN) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@OzSportsGuy Hi Sammy. The NBN outage is still currently ongoing, they are working hard to try and resolve as quickly as possible. At this point in time we we do not have an ETR.

  • delzdogg James D'Elia (@delzdogg) reported

@NBN_Australia @QuynhTr66536569 Automated/copy paste response. Same thing. Result is still the same, your customer service is pathetic

  • JamesPinnell James Pinnell (@JamesPinnell) reported

@dippizuka Tbh this is just something for NBN’s insanely overstaffed PR department to do. They really don’t need to make content like this as a wholesale network.

  • jono_nath Jonathan #VoteYES For Our Future! 🤓💧🐟🦆🌳🍍🍉 (@jono_nath) reported

@UndaSthnXiStand @john_odonoghue1 @SpaceX Most customers in the bush don't have NBN. Like lots of us rely on Telstra 3G. Their customer "service" is ********, basically non-existent. Been surveyed by them several times & requested contact for various problems. Happy to oversell to me, not once been contacted to resolve.

  • NBN_Australia nbn® Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

We have also installed 14 generators to maintain service continuity at six nbn Fixed Wireless infrastructure sites, and we are preparing to deploy an additional 15 generators to 11 other nbn Fixed Wireless infrastructure sites to maintain service continuity.

  • maz_net_au Maz (@maz_net_au) reported

@NBN_Australia If only it were "network updates" instead of "marketing spam". Perhaps you should tell people what they're really signing up for when you suggest that they do?

  • UndaSthnXiStand RuralAustraliaMatters! (@UndaSthnXiStand) reported

@jono_nath @john_odonoghue1 @SpaceX Infrastructure ownership matters. NBN aren’t maintaining or repairing the network adequately. 4G & 5G aren’t installed in many places where 3G has been turned off.

  • NellyJa73255653 Nelly Jane (@NellyJa73255653) reported

@RealTimFerguson Meanwhile ordinary Aust just want DECENT NBN & mobile service !!

  • FaiqSiddiqui12 Faiq Siddiqui (@FaiqSiddiqui12) reported

@NBN_Australia What does NBN say about frame delays on GPON fibre best effort service which is not suitable for any time sensitive apps AND online gaming? All traffic is best effort and prone to congestion. NBN doesn't differentiate gaming traffic. Frame delays due to poor upload provisioning.

  • dril9999 MORTIMUS COWBOY: The Bastard of Diapers (@dril9999) reported

waiting to hear the #NBN compulsory tests from mainstream media outlets to see if they support my right to inspect them at their own risk.
