NBN Issues Reports Near Dalmore East, State of Victoria

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Dalmore East and nearby locations:

  • crackerscraigo Crackers (@crackerscraigo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Connection was unsuccessful, problem in the street he says. 🙄

  • lfsantosl lfsantosl (@lfsantosl) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @iTnews_au The fact that I pay for my nbn is already a streaming differentiation. All other online activity is or can be done on my mobile 4G network, whose speed is usually higher than nbn anyway.

  • PaulDanyluk Paul Danyluk (@PaulDanyluk) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia your connection goes down and it will take least two days to address the problem. Aren’t you a waste of money!

  • PaulDuldig Paul Duldig (@PaulDuldig) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia is an unbelievably bad service. We have fttp which should be +90MBps. The reality is far worse. Every minute we go from no service, to 10 to 90 and back again. Service provider doing their best. Six months this has been going on. Just terrible.

  • AntB77 Ant (@AntB77) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@guytaur @manjusrii @stufromoz Stephen Conroy's CVC pricing model is a big part of the problem with NBN. ALP don't get a free pass they're just as bad as the Libs

  • eileen_1956 Eileen B Kenny (@eileen_1956) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @Optus Dear NBN & Optus - yet another Optus tech out this AM. Outcome: After nearly 2 months of problems - worst service of that whole period, 25 secs in, drop out, reconnect, 25 secs in, drop out ... the cycle continues 😡😡😡😡

  • carldsmart Carl Smart (@carldsmart) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@natasha_yann @abc730 @MSMWatchdog2013 @geoff__thompson Netflix can stream quite comfortably on 5mbs - in fact my mother was streaming on 2mbs and seldom had issues. So blaming streaming services for the NBN rort is utter bullsh!t. The real blame sits with NBN and govt, both clearly out of their depth from the get-go.

  • steveacko stephen atkinson (@steveacko) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@iiNet seriously. It’s been a near 40 days since our iiNet NBN service was paid for and still nothing. Not even an email update. My partner and I work a combined 150hr week and can’t afford to donate more of our time towards this matter. #iinetNBN #NBN #Melbourne

  • methylnick Nick Wong (@methylnick) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@gerald_goh @illumina @BaseSpace I do hope the #NBN can support the data transfer rates. 😜

  • Swooptalk Rayce (@Swooptalk) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@scott_thewspot Couldn't believe that we needed another box for this crap #nbn Hopefully it works for you better.

  • DanSims Dan Sims (@DanSims) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@TheWineRules1 The ‘true’ NBN under Labour is what is needed but thanks to Turnbull (and mostly Murdoch) we were robbed. I mean copper as a solution. In 2018/19. Copper. Just insanity.

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

So, just been on the phone to @Telstra , about the crappy NBN service. Even though this household switched over 3 weeks ago, the service will be experiencing "difficulties" until July 19th.

  • Swooptalk Rayce (@Swooptalk) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

This #nbn is just the worst crap on the planet, not matter which companies I have tried, the drop on speeds especially at late arvos is just discussing.

  • eileen_1956 Eileen B Kenny (@eileen_1956) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia ❌❌ Big crosses 4 u. No internet for 5 weeks; no solution for 5 weeks. A lot of blame & being thrown backwards & 4wards between Optus & you. Family dependent on me having a l/line as on emergency alarm. ❌❌

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

This #NBN thingo doesn't work any better than ADSL. When it's pissing rain in Melbourne, it drops out just the same.

  • mjfly1 Mark Flynn (@mjfly1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@gnaight @NickRossTech @LJPatton @abcnews @netflix @abc730 But that's a business plan limit rather than technology one, that you can hit 60GB limit implies there's not a bandwidth congestion problem, only a few years ago our kids would kill their grandparents Sat, later fixed 3G plan in a weekend, it's not a problem on NBN fixed wireless

  • ChristineEwing7 Dr Queen Christina (@ChristineEwing7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @unionsthug @wadekelly @NBN_Australia Perhaps. I don't expect a worse service than the one I had previously.

  • lesposen lesposen (@lesposen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@playswithf1re @NickRossTech @R_Chirgwin @gordon_j To be sure. I need something for my awful 3G/4G cell tower issue where I am mostly getting SOS level signals… I’m right in the middle of an area where three towers don’t overlap. Have to use wifi calling. When the modem goes down every few days (Optus NBN) I go into a comms hole

  • PaulDanyluk Paul Danyluk (@PaulDanyluk) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia It usually takes under an hour for a technician to come diagnose, fix and get my car started. And he doesn't leave me in a hole of he can't. NBN has a response time measured in days and routinely leaves the problem unsolved and without leaving any indication of next steps.

  • stevescicluna Steve Scicluna (@stevescicluna) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@phbarratt You must have had terrible Optus cable. I get close to 100 Mbps. I’m in no hurry to switch to NBN delivered via Telstra’s cable.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BronwenZ Bronwen Zande (@BronwenZ) reported

And it came back up after @NBN_Australia replaced a tap on the street...and 30 mins later its down again :(

  • BenakJuraj Juraj Benak (@BenakJuraj) reported

@VodafoneAU Absolutely hopeless. Just spoke with @NBN_Australia and the last communication from @VodafoneAU was on the 8th of Feb! No wonder it takes so long if they don't know! Thanks for 'support' guys, going elsewhere.

  • WestcottDean 💧Dean Westcott (@WestcottDean) reported

@SeanBradbery Yep. I live on an island in the Whitsundays, have an optus wireless network that streams 2 devices at once without a problem, 200gb a month and two phone plans for $100. Why we went the wired in option of NBN I will always ponder.

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@J_P_Bye That would annoy me too! It may well be an nbn matter, however, your provider provides the services and manages all appointments so they would reach out to their 24/7 nbn support on your behalf to assist you in getting this resolved. 1/2

  • BronwenZ Bronwen Zande (@BronwenZ) reported

Having to factory reset the nbn box and my router everytime my internet has issues to "isolate the problem" really is super annoying

  • keough_greg Greg Keough (@keough_greg) reported

@TheDanAnimal @swearyanthony @GrogsGamut .... And Australians pay dearly for sub-standard NBN services. Here in Hua Hin, Thailand fibre service to the house is connected within 24 hours. Costs AUD25/month, 500 Mbps download AND upload. Is reliable and rarely less than 400mbps.

  • hoser_meier Christian Meier (@hoser_meier) reported

@Telstra constant NBN drop outs in area code 2222 again. @NBN_Australia are you ever going to fix this issue?

  • waggacrow waggacrow (@waggacrow) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia @PaulFletcherMP You are obviously referring to the capital cities. We are still struggling with broadband speeds in Wagga. Speeds are slow and we are paying more than ADSL.

  • dhh901 dhh (@dhh901) reported

Morning @NBN_Australia , how is it with your massive rorting and pilfering of money you can't secure hardware to provide service to your poor service? Maybe you should be campaigning for a full fibre upgrade to ensure your own relevance.

  • waggacrow waggacrow (@waggacrow) reported

@NBN_Australia Provider support is hopeless. Pushing it back to infrastructure problems.
