@vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra Yeah, 4G. No 5G coverage in this part of Melbourne. I wish I didn't have to use a SIM from another telco to get 20+ Mbps. Telstra 4G backup is about 0.16 Mbps down with a Smart Modem. We just tether phones during work hours for video calls or sharing would be too slow.

Hey @Optus I’m having nbn service issues. Your online messaging service is not responding. You network status page says “under investigation” and has said that for three days. I’ve sent you a DM but no response there either.

Just got off the phone with my ISP's tech support and they reckon it will be a 4 - 8 hour downtime. They couldn't gather additional info from the NBN either (Who announced the unscheduled downtime.), which isn't really good news.

@vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra I received an SMS later to expect 4 days of no internet. 💀 I've got a backup service running at full speed through another telco. Best not to put all our eggs in one basket if nbn HFC and Telstra mobile are both unusable while WFH. 🥵 Fortunate that there's overlapping coverage.

@nadinevoncohen @patrickkeneally Only contact I've had from Optus has been apologies for our NBN dropping out. Which is roughly about ten times a day. But hey, who could have foreseen the copper technology solution not being up to the job?

@TMFScottP @Telstra @NBN_Australia Agreed. My provider offered broadband back as of all the problems in the area. I'm sure others had the same offer. I'm also sure it will improve one day. However school work needs to be done.

@BenSmee @Optus I was in this boat a few months back. After rebooting my router numerous times, they booked a NBN technician to come and have a look. And then I found reset button on my NBN box and it fixed the problem. I’ve since added Optus Technician to my resume.

@NBN_Australia my FTTP service went out a while ago. Tarneit, VIC 3029. Did not come back and no reports of outages. Power cycled devices of course. ISP informed but of course out of support hours. Any news?

@NBN_Australia Specific report locations in my region since 10pm last night mostly from Hobart CBD Bellerive and Claremont/Austin's ferry. These are likely caused by the same issue Tasmanians have been warning you about since our govt tanked what would have been Australia's best infrastructure

@NBN_Australia My address won't help you. Your site clearly shows the outages as being NSW and Victoria and reported on consistently by others for the last 3 days. That issue has taken out Hobart and surrounds since about 10pm yesterday Fix your ******* ****.
