@psweeney @byzbateson @TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia In all honesty, the actual service is fine until something goes wrong. Any provider has the same issue for when something goes wrong. They are all just as bad.

  • xander85 365 | KatyCat Grant 👁 WTT AU💍NZ (@xander85) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@TPG_Telecom Sorry but that’s not good enough. If an outage is planned you have enough time to plan a notification. My NBN has not connected since last night.

  • emmaknicholls emma nicholls (@emmaknicholls) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Telstra is THE worst when it comes to internet. Even when you’re on one of the best NBN plans going around

  • demon_dave Dave Dawson (@demon_dave) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@10NewsFirst @vanOnselenP Geezuz PVO, people are worried about #NBN , stagnant wage growth, high utilities prices, traffic, house prices etc, media and LNP are beating it up, heard @3AWNeilMitchell trying to stir it up, much to the dismay of shit jocks no one rang worried about it

  • Rob2563 Robstar (@Rob2563) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

What a ******* mess our street in Richmond Vic is from the @NBN_Australia services. Already my entrance pavers are smashed. Oh yes guys, I'm sure you will be back to fix it like you say lol. #Fail #BallsUp

  • matty_lara027 Matty Lara (@matty_lara027) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

First time @NBN_Australia tech comes out on site. Takes on look at the box and goes, "nah can't be done. Sorry mate." Comon NBN. Why does it take this long to connect someone to your network #failedappoitment #justwantinternet

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    6. @Telstra says cancel the order and reorder and all will be fine. 7. LOL only joking the say after two weeks. 8. @nbn digs up our nature strip and three of our neighbours' strips. Lays cable 9. Telstra attends and says NBN has done a shoddy job.

  • JesseEOlsen Jesse E. Olsen (@JesseEOlsen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yeah, we’ll see. By the way, it’s kindof a jerk thing to do for @NBN_Australia to mess around and cancel, then leave it to the provider to clean up your mess. #notcool #berespecfful

  • _kevops Kev Gorman (@_kevops) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia 2 months, 5 visits (3 no shows), hours of my time spent on the phone and still no connection. Case notes with blatant lies about the status. You guys are literally the worst organisation I have ever encountered. #nbn #farcical

  • alisterrobbie Alister (@alisterrobbie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@joshrowe @Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia @CommsAu @iTnews_au Check out @unitiwireless . Proper speeds. Little stuffing about. None of the issues of @NBN_Australia . A friend signed up months ago and has been hassling me to switch ever since. About to churn.

  • matty_lara027 Matty Lara (@matty_lara027) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Fourth Appointment with @NBN_Australia, First time tech comes out on site. Takes one look at the box and goes, "nah can't be done. Sorry mate." Comon NBN. Why does it take this long to connect someone to your network. #failedappoitment #justwantinternet

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@ShaunHodgins @AltoCarol @crownsfive1 @billshortenmp Yeah I don’t agree. One example, Telstra would never have been sold off. Telco infrastructure would have been maintained and upgraded. The NBN may not have been required and thus we would not have had to buy back and rent infrastructure that was previously owned by the tax payer

  • yeppoon Beaver Murray (@yeppoon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

NBN so slow cant load a video media unavailable, ffs this is so pathetic and getting worse for some reason.

  • thealien_earth John Kovac (@thealien_earth) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

And we all laugh at how bad the #NBN is. #QandA

  • southyarradan Dan Ho (@southyarradan) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

This is a real election issue ! Incompetent Govt on #NBN and wilful waste of public funds @Manus Island !

  • Haich44 Hassa (@Haich44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@gavincostello @ph_litmus Problem is all Australians were warned and given the chance to choose. 1950s copper nbn Abbott and LNP or futuristic optic fibre ALP and they now have what they deserve. They also sold public school kids down the drain too with a sabotaged Gonski funding deal!

  • alfalfasocial Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AttardMon @NBN_Australia Apparently not, Mon. We're in "transition phase" so although @NBN_Australia has responsibility for the infrastructure, @Telstra is still managing the service but has to defer to NBN for any works. As you can imagine, that works well.

  • h1pp074 RC (@h1pp074) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@TPG_Telecom my home NBN FTTH 100mbps service is getting slower and slower any issues in the 3199 area!

  • bugwannostra Mark Dickenson Govt #Robodebt body count is 2030 (@bugwannostra) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Shit NBN, free holidays, frequent flying, trickle down bullshit, obstructing justice, media tip offs, dodgy grants, free tickets, mounting staffers, fake jobs, fake tradies, fake self funded retirees, cheap houses, chopper gate, Parakeelia, sinecures, austerity your govt #auspol

  • CountKnuckles Gavin (@CountKnuckles) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Holy crap now that I have NBN I also have @DougDeMuro in beautiful 4K.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SimonHolman Simon Holman (@SimonHolman) reported

@NBN_Australia Not in our area it’s not. Old slow technology due to this ridiculous FTTN. Neighbours “NBN” internet is slower than my old ADSL was. Lucky I have @superloopnet and have a stable slightly faster internet.

  • IanFrodman1 Narrabian (@IanFrodman1) reported

@NBN_Australia we stayed in all morning waiting for your technician, who was due today. Didn’t turn up as vehicle had broken down, but no one called to advise us. What appalling customer service. You guys have phones right???

  • whiskyfett Eryn (@whiskyfett) reported

@MyRepublicAU NBN down in Maitland AGAIN. This is happening too frequently guys.

  • Howzatdiane Diane Valli💉💉 (@Howzatdiane) reported

@Monocotyledon I understand fully. I got halfway through the process and then an email from the library arrived advising a MyGov seminar. The NBN Co presenter (yes) couldn't help. After 3 more attempts over 3 weeks suddenly it worked! Good luck.

  • wackamole5 whack-a-mole 🇺🇸🇦🇺🏴‍☠️ (@wackamole5) reported

@NBN_Australia Why can’t NBN fix my connection. First drops of rain and it drops out. Talked to ISP and they were told by NBN it isn’t consistent enough. Try working from home when your internet drops out. Frustrated!!!

  • NnugYllas Me (@NnugYllas) reported

@ejfuente We currently have iinet VDSL we're moving less than 2kms away soon& can't get it so I have to lose speed on a lower speed NBN service or pay more for a faster NBN plan.

  • simonhackett Simon Hackett (@simonhackett) reported

@rexster Indeed, my initial reason to order Starlink for suburban Adelaide was as a backup Internet path because NBN over HFC has no in-street battery backup. My house has a battery, the NBN HFC network doesn't :(

  • cjnetlink CORY 😷💉💉 (@cjnetlink) reported

@MyArgue You'd think @NBN_Australia was conceived by #ScoMo for their lack of any responsibility at all. I'm steering clear of this NBN ****.

  • singhtejinder Tejinder (@singhtejinder) reported

@kauraverjit Ohh , my bad .. NBN is being laid … will that sell fast or some big lie :)

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@HarrisTaneile Hey Taneile, we are sorry to hear about your poor experience. We are making good progress on our Network Investment Plan that was announced in September 2020 as part of the NBN Co Corporate Plan 2021 (1/2)
