More details are expected over the coming days as Labor fleshes out the details of their proposed scheme, which is designed to help with housing affordability – but could actually serve to fuel demand and drive prices higher. Sounds like the NBN. #Auspol #Labor

  • TimJimJoseph Tim Joseph (@TimJimJoseph) reported

@ABCaustralia is ABCKids down at the moment? I can connect, but when I select a video it refuses to play (on both iPad and Android). Tried both NBN and mobile connections.

  • TasDare Taz Dare News (@TasDare) reported

NBN still down in my street):The pH is connected, but I don't really care for working on that all day. So gardens it is!

  • advance_all AdvanceAustraliansAll (@advance_all) reported

@crikey_news @MargotSaville An utterly useless PM who was out of his depth, feathered his friends’ nests, gave us half- baked schemes like the copper “it’s cheaper” NBN while wasting millions on unsolicited grants, and did nothing for the greater good of our country. He was never leadership material.

  • davepaxz Davepaxz (@davepaxz) reported

@DoctorKarl The cost to fix the current mess that our nbn is in will be enormous. 4g/5g is not the answer because those services saturate and slow down once a critical number of users is reached - this was the experience in Japan.

  • revardin Revardin (@revardin) reported

@JulianAndrew63 @davidbewart I’m surprised the NBN isn’t more of an election issue. The LNP spent more to deliver less and now they’re going back to try and fix it.

  • maire19 Nordic but Nice 🇦🇺 🇪🇪 (@maire19) reported

@wendy_harmer @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia In the Adelaide Hills where the corroded copper wires are over 60 years old and falling off their connections in the street we often wait over 6 weeks for a fix

So proud of myself, I just got a telescammer to hang up on ME!! Said she was from Telstra NBN with an urgent message about my broadband. I said, which company is my broadband with. Response “oh shut up”…… click….busy tone. I’m so proud. 😎😎😎😎

  • gus_mif_2 Steven Smith (@gus_mif_2) reported

@RuncibleH If Rudd got back in we'd have world class NBN, Gonski funding public schools appropriately, ets bringing $ into coffers and bringing down emissions, Holden, Ford and Toyota et al still operating in Oz, mitigation re. floods and bushfires, no land clearing to 3rd world levels, etc

  • Mijjy3 🌏☮🐾Brad ♈🌱💧⚒ (@Mijjy3) reported

@DougCameron51 How much have we overspent on the fraudulent NBN as much of the country languishes with substandard FTTN internet services? How much do we spend every year maintaining this substandard network? $7b is a bargain here!!!
