@Telstra The issue is within Telstra. When Telstra staff call us thinking we're NBN Co, and start off by asking what we've done to troubleshoot. I'd say Telstra has issues. Address the issue. #Telstra

@Fentonthedragon @BrowntownBrew @lenoretaylor Rubbish. I did some of the installs so you would I should know. Most regional MP electorate offices are connected to the public NBN network using the same end point equipment and backbone infrastructure as normal business and residential customers.

@humbleminion Hi Greg, we’re sorry to hear about your experience, it’s definitely not what we’d want for you. We recommend staying in contact with your provider, as your provider will reach out to the internal nbn support team for further investigation.. 1/2

@VaxxedCynic @NBN_Australia I spent 3 years at the ombuds with Telstra. They have legislation that means they have to keep landlines running. 1mtr of water in the junction box a km down the road made the line useless & they don’t want to do any maintenance. Exhausting…. They don’t care at all…

So lightning struck my house. It flipped a couple breakers, no problems there, but what it also did was fry our aerial & fry our connection to the NBN curbside box. & the NBN technicians cannot work in the rain because they have to go into the manhole, which is currently flooded.

@manaz_d @NBN_Australia I knew there was someone on here who had experienced something similar - it was you @manaz_d :) It would take a random walking past literally 10 seconds to disconnect every customer in the cabinet. I wouldn't dare touch it anyway in case one of those fibres goes to my house!
