@DoodyDarren @BurkeHellibee @AlboMP Doesn't matter. Money that was wasted on NBN could fix our crap coverage. "Satelite". Again with the "Stone age" argument.

  • Punter1013 Punter101 (@Punter1013) reported

@DHurburgh @MrKRudd @NBN_Australia That’s the main problem… NBN is too expensive for what you get… my Optus cable was better and cheaper

  • softveda Pratik Khasnabis ☁ (@softveda) reported

Got a sudden email from @NBN_Australia that my address can get FTTP. Surprise!! Checked my address with current RSP @superloopnet , eligible since June 2022. Wtf, why wasn't I told long back. I don't even get 80Mbps. Anyway better late than never. Ordered the upgrade.

  • dancer_ve Dancer, your Space Dad 🐝🐝🐝🐝 (@dancer_ve) reported

NBN emergency maintenance in our area seems to be over. Even the local cell towers seemed to go out during parts of it. Hope nobody needed emergency services.

  • bollgare Matt (@bollgare) reported

@DoodyDarren @BurkeHellibee @AlboMP People use mobile and other services. Starlink is a competitor to NBN and the rest. I tried to look up stats. What percentage of data goes through the Home NBN network? That would show current numbers. You can be sure the graph will show a downward trend with NBN usage.

  • bollgare Matt (@bollgare) reported

@DoodyDarren @BurkeHellibee @AlboMP Why. Its only because you don't comprehend basics. Part of NBN plan was Satelite? but idiotic stupid went a satelite up in space with no inferstructure as what is said. I can't help if you are childish and give some credit to the person you replied to.

  • catheri88963637 Catherine Scott (@catheri88963637) reported

@AlboMP It is critical. I have to pay staff to do nothing when the NBN is down. It means no internet and no telephones. Staff cannot connect to work. NBN has been a disaster since 2019 when it was connected. It needs more than upgrading.

  • AusPropJournal Australian Property Journal (@AusPropJournal) reported

@QuentinDempster @MRowlandMP Not just the regions that need NBN upgrade, urban and metro suburbs with FTC, NBN service is poor. Lucky to get 55mbps on a 100mbps plan thanks to Turnbull/Abbott govt.

  • bollgare Matt (@bollgare) reported

@BurkeHellibee @DoodyDarren @AlboMP Im 47. The NBN will be overtaken by private because it's "obsolete". Was never made to last past a election cycle. Failed on all points. It's more expensive. Not available to a large part of the community. We hava a crap mobile range because money went into Bloated NBN.

  • craig3352 Craig (@craig3352) reported

@SophiaMcGrane Maybe they can put a rocket up Telstra’s arse too…no point having high speed NBN if Telstra wind back bandwidth / limit services…my 5G mobile needs to be sitting on top of the Telstra tower to get average service these days. 😾
