@FurlongMick @SaskiaZwolls Just like blaming OPTUS for NBN problems .5G to homes has run into problems of hacking .Opus was trying to connect 5G to houses in my area when all this hell broke loose. Bank told me they are safe ,but MyGov link seem to have buckled .

  • llewellyn1953 Llew (@llewellyn1953) reported

@kelseyvh @Optus We had to ring Optus to get our free of charge dongle filled for the second time after drop outs since the 24th September that make working from home and travel bookings a nightmare. Apparently its the NBN that is at fault for our Glen Waverley based problem.

@IMO41725414 @SpaceX IMO, because many people in regional Australian can't get good internet, NBN satellite costs a fortune and is as slow as a snail. (I am not saying NBN Fixed Wireless) some areas rely on satellite, majority of those are farmers that feed you.

  • SenSHenderson Senator Sarah Henderson (@SenSHenderson) reported

In 2020, the Coalition announced a $4.5b NBN network investment plan that will give upto 75% of fixed line premises in regional & metro Australia access to ultra-fast broadband by 2023 –this will occur via a continuation of the ‘multi-technology model’ that Labor so denigrated.

@mmmaxi @Anthony_Klan I'm on the Telstra network with another supplier - cheap as chips mobile with good coverage. NBN I ditched for wireless connection - local Perth based provider - consistent connection, speed & cheaper than Optus/Telstra/iiNet.

  • SenSHenderson Senator Sarah Henderson (@SenSHenderson) reported

If the NBN was not rolled out with the speed and purpose that happened under the Coalition, using all available technologies, millions of premises throughout Australia may have languished on ADSL speeds of 8Mbps, on average, or endured lockdowns with no internet service at all.

  • RichardKGrump Richard Wright (@RichardKGrump) reported

The @NBN_Australia technician fixed my internet, He said he couldn't do anything about the terrible speed I get but said I shouldn't get any more dropouts. It's only dropped out twice this afternoon. Perhaps out of habit?

  • _drbruced Bruce Davie (@_drbruced) reported

Australia's NBN (national broadband network) cops plenty of justified criticism, but today a pair of techs showed up at my house to troubleshoot a high noise level on the HFC network which they'd traced to my house. I had a vague idea there was an intermittent problem 1/3

  • Ozzytourer 💧Lucky Country with A Labor Govt!! (@Ozzytourer) reported

@RichardKGrump @NBN_Australia Might be time for a new modem.... We use to have drop outs, speed would slow etc, we would have to restart the modem regularly. Updated to a new modem, no drop outs, no speed loss.....
