    @p_terg IT ordeal 😵‍💫 They got the NBN on today. Box nowhere near the computer and computer doesn’t have a wifi adapter. So I did the dash down the road and got them a 10m Ethernet cable and away they go.

    I really am angry the LNP rooted the NBN. Now I have to seriously consider Musk’s Starlink for my Internet especially since both Telstra & Optus have & are having issues.

    @LeeroyLives @AngusTaylorMP So looking at that graph, the trajectory of expanding debt started under rudd and gillard and never went down Sounds about right. Looks to start that trajectory after the nbn started construction and ndis came about.

    @roberts_pa97578 I’d never use @telstra - the experiences I had with them as a network consultant for clients were atrocious - their NBN implementations/installations/services were pathetic

    I told people when the Krudd had his NBN brain fart that it would be a colossal waste of money and that the future was wireless, and people told me I was being stupid. I remember the French government and their massive white elephant the Minitel system. Same government stupidity, every single time.

    i’d say that Starlink is pretty close to competing with NBN at home for $75 a month 100 MB per second that’s not too bad. We pay $110 a month for 500 MB per second at home. We usually get about 175. To answer your question a comparable plan in Malaysia is about 55 Aussie dollars so it doesn’t quite compare

    @Suburbia3121 I’ve had it for a while now Andy… you won’t be surprised to know the NBN in Romsey is crap! lol Starlink obv not the cheapest but it’s been an absolute game changer for us.

    My @NBN has been down since 9am & they won't come to fix issue till Monday - 4 days (2nd time in 2 wks)! My Telstra hotspotting is weak. Time to hook up with @starlink Issue here is local installer charges an arm/leg etc to install sys on roof etc. I may have to suck it up.
