@NBN_Australia The status on the nbn page still says outage. I’m in Eastwood not Northern NSW

@NBN_Australia How about some sensible resilience planning? We have all been forced on the the NBN only for it to persistently fail at critical times. This is vital infrastructure not a cash cow for wealthy investors. Stop making excuses and start taking your social responsibilities seriously.

@slace You'll definitely need to get NBN to fix that.... part of what you paid for when the service was abolished is the reset of the Service Class back to 0. That way when the ISP places the order with the NBN, they know what is required.

@Telstra I already said no Vicky. We’re keeping this public. Who do I make a complaint to, to get the copper changed to fibre to the premises? Is it a Telstra, @NBN_Australia, the TIO or someone else? BTW what’s your D number for the record?

@NBN_Australia Can we get some specifics? e.g we are working on fixing x which if successful will restore service to locations y & z

Compared to a decade ago when NBN had a massive year-long 50th birthday celebration, sadly it seems not much (if anything) will be done to mark the 60th. As we all know, NBN's local identity has been almost completely replaced with the Nine Network brand over the last 5-6 years.

@dgaust Really? It goes back to your ISP to get the connection enabled for them to provide me service? I assumed that I had to get NBN to connect the service then an ISP will come in after that. Also NBN's website reports I have an active connection...

@NBN_Australia Thanks Chris, any ETA on restoration of service in this area? Also when will free FTTP upgrades be offered in this area? Looking forward to this since it was announced last year and saw the contractors working on preparations last November. Regards Peter

@NBN_Australia I'm trying to contact you to organise an install on a newly built house (from a knock down that had a previous NBN service that we organised abolishment through you) but your phone keeps hanging up. How can I submit a request for reconnection?
