@MegJobson1 If you’re in an FTTN NBN zone you can lose Internet with rain, flood, storm, fire… any power outage because nodes need power to operate. Several years ago, a drunk driver took out my suburb’s Internet access for days. Tech said it couldn’t happen with underground fibre. #auspol

Pss poor effort @NBN_Australia send out sub contractors, who haven’t been given a briefing on what they are to do on premises. You guys are useless. Back to morse code.

@KeenoPaul Thanks heaps Paul. Very weird. I can access on laptop via phone (Telstra) hotspot, but not on laptop using @Optus NBN. There's 3 sites I can't see via Optus - all hosted by @WebCentralAU. Not finding other sites a prob. But yes, sites slow when viewable. Investigation continues!

@JansenBasil @RositaDaz48 @CheleCassebohm We became a stupid country when people voted LNP 3 times. First they said austerity was good, then they spent like drunken sailor on rorts, corruption, and waste for their rich mates. $1T in debt. Destroyed the NBN with copper, now they're replacing their **** copper with fibre

LNP's NBN outage Qld NAPLAN 11/05/22. LNP's NBN outage SA NAPLAN 12/05/22. 61st in the world high speed internet. Disgraceful. Absolute failure of LNP government. Don't have a clue. Don't like NAPLAN, but this failure of NBN is country wide. Keep voting out the LNP.

Question. We have a 'landline' via Optus NBN that comes off the modem/wi-fi box. But our cordless phone doesn't have range to reach back of house with good reception. Is there a solution via wi-fi, or suggestions on a cordless that will do 20-25metres through house clearly?

@884253_Blu L the actual service provided actually has nothing to do with the ISP, they're basically just reselling NBN - i used to be on telstra and actually found that aussie broadband customer support is way better

@iiNet this rain in brisbane seems to be affecting our FTTC internet service. We’ve had unreliable service the past few days, can anything be done to fix this? Is this an NBN issue with the pit out the front flooding? Thanks!

@Middleton_Says It is incredibly painful, unfortunately we are smack between a few NBN wireless towers but blocked from line of sight. So 4g broadband is all we get. And I'm fairly sure Telstra has been winding down 4g in recent months as its getting steadily worse. I'll be looking into Starlink
