For those with failing memory: Under the Rudd Labor (ALP) government’s plan, the NBN was to be a cutting-edge fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) network, covering 93% of homes and businesses by 2021. Even using pessimistic opposition (LNP) costings, the projected cost was A$46 billion.

@7NewsSydney @MyleeHogan (Not speed) Same with telstra, my advice is see what's available and how many devices you need to run on your network and take it all from there everyone is different. I hate telstra but for a mobile phone it's above average. Nbn internode is the way to go. What works for me

@NBN_Australia Hi @NBN_Australia team, Thank you for your response. Yes, it is working, it was very inconvenient ( #FirstWorldProblems ) to be without NBN for 10 days. One thing which remain an ongoing issue every time it rains our NBN drops out, our ISP says it is within the SLA with NBN. Help

Moved house and Internet doesn't work. @Aussie_BB is there any point in doing anything if I don't have 4 solid lights on the NBN modem? Seemed pointless to be resetting my router if the modem wasn't connecting properly.

@bhavdip143 +they offer Fixed wireless , alternative to NBN FTTN rollout which has left a lot of old copper which can result in poor connection

@cathywilcox1 @bencjenkins When I purchased our new 4K TV around 3 or 4 yrs ago - I rang local TV service guy, figured $100 well worth it to get everything working. Did same when we got NBN & got my brilliant local computer tech to get it all working.

@Asher_Wolf Hi Asher. In between washing and vacuuming (both of which I know you love), can you or your techy mates answer this?... I have FTTN NBN. Do I need a modem router or can I just use a router? No VOIP usage. We do have a phone bundle, but we never use the phone part. Thx
