    @BrianMitchellMP @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia As long as your Local Federal MP is not part of the problem. That is as long as they are not a member of the current government. We lodged complaints with the TIO, and the former member and nothing was done. Complained to our current member, have only had I'm on it.

    (Disclaimer: I live in an apartment building that was constructed in the last 5 years and has proper FTTP, with fibre going all the way up to an NTD in my kitchen cupboard; if your NBN link sucks *** no ISP will be able to magically fix it)

    @Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Thanks. Will do. Telstra’s official response obtained by our local ABC was something like - we know service suffers in holidays and Understand it’s frustrating. In other words, too bad.

    @motbevron @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia For some reason, the mobile providers are able to provide a nearly fault free 24/7 service. I wonder why?

    @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Wait till something in the node breaks, then you’ll have constant planned outage that starts early and rarely finishes on time.

    So I switched my NBN to @launtel and ngl, it's really really handy to be able to go "I'm doing some streaming Friday night and my #linuxconfau tech check on Saturday, so I'll switch to 250/100 for those two days and then go back to 50/20", all self-service and billed per-day.

    @NBN_Australia Thanks for the reply the service ceased after a black out and the technician kindly restored service and also came early
