Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

Wouldn't know what the NBN is like. Living on the outer edge of town in a regional centre in N.S.W. doesn't qualify for NBN service. Still waiting for internet that doesn't drop out and that you can access 24/7.

Alright Melbourne, let's talk nbn. Our provider is cutting off our naked DLS in a month and we need to pick a new provider because **** @BelongAU and their shitty service. Recommendations please. 2 person household, medium use for SM, emails and Netflix.

@AlboMP Should have seen the mess at our old place. That bad but also buried in dried mud. Made it almost impossible to connect us, but we couldn't stay on our ADSL plan because we were NBN ready. 7 months of no internet before a single legendary tradie spent a whole arvo fixing it.

@AlboMP @AlboMP I have worked on the NBN/Copper network. If you think that is bad. You should see the rural Network, all along the highways there are exposed pits without can tops. The lack of funding to Telstra/NBN Techs is pathetic. We simply can’t repair them due to all the BS....

On the third visit they replaced MY connection to the pit. ALL the others were surely in the same condition and should be replaced but the NBN will need to make separate trips to fix each - if those customers can convince their retailers to convince NBN that a problem exists.
