Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@iiNet I’d love to. But now I get to spend my SECOND Thursday night in a row talking to you guys after nbn gave us a new box today and STILL it’s dropped out 3 times already. Time for this ultra loyal customer to change providers.

Deleted a tweet about NBN and SBN. I am disappointed they turned down a presentation on TOPA, but I'm told there are other factors at play.

@Optus Hey Sarah, I have ongoing issues with hotspotting (and my home NBN connection currently down - not an Optus fault), and logged in this a.m on the app to ask for support. After a 51 minute delay, one of your team took 20+ mi s to verify that I have enough data so still waiting 🙁

@NBN_Australia The appointment wasn’t missed. I was at home the whole time. Your technician didn’t show up and falsified documents to say he did and actually did work and fix the problem which is clearly fraud.

I’ve had two automated messages from NBN asking me to confirm if I’ll be home for my appointment tomorrow and I just received a rude non-automated one asking if I’ll be home *I’m* not the one who has been cancelling these appointments y’know?

@Telstra I see you’re online, stop ignoring me and fix your damn **** because i’ve done everything else to try and fix this thing, including getting one of your brilliant NBN people out here to fix it, but nope, guess what? STILL GOT A RED OPTICAL LIGHT. FUN.

@NBN_Australia my 1st issue is telstra paying slave wages and getting billions to fix nbn and probably jobkeeper as well. Secondly it is 3rd world country and goes out all the time especially after midnight. Thirdly it should be socialised and nearly free as now a necessity of modern life.

@Telstra If I can possibly get my connection speed increased back to a useable level while waiting for the NBN to switch back to the fixed network that would be several levels of excellent b/c I've been hotspotting off my phone and it's eating up all my data.

@HereBeMike We were in a blackspot for years with sub-3Mbps DSL. When NBN rolled out, they extended HFC network to this area and we ended up on a small footprint of about 3k residences, so minimal contention and run close to 1000/50 all times of day. We'll take it. :)
