Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

@Optus He said he already has. He's also been on the phone live chat. The original setup was done in store a week ago and he was told you needed to post the application for connection to NBN (wtf?) He was told y'day 'midnight tonight at the LATEST' Now, 'within a few days' Ridiculous

@profsarahj They are unaccountable and the work is incompetent. I lodged a complaint through the telco and got a NBN reference number. I hassled the Telco until I got a response. Be aware though - the Telco weren't being honest either. The only word either understood was Ombudsman.

Update on our Neighbour M Appears her NBN has gone to pot. Nothing wants to connect and her landline has died. Possibly due to the NBN tech working out in the pit nearby. Also, ( because why not?) her mobile phone has also just died and not working. Ugh.

@superloopnet @NBN_Australia not sure what's going on but NBN has been down on our street in Collingwood for 3 days with no updates or resoultion timing. Tried to get more info from superloop but no answer after 2 hours on hold. Disruption #XVNVN

@TPG_Telecom is there an issue with the NBN internet today? Have checked both NBNs service status and TPGs planned maintenances. Neither have listed outages or problems
