  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • ianbfarquhar Ian Farquhar (@ianbfarquhar) reported

@DJSnM @pac2114 I live in the middle of Sydney (Australia), and the Starlink service is totally competitive with the NBN-in-name-only VSDL or 4/5G with hard data caps service which are the only other options. Small outages, seconds long. Manageable and a significant improvement.

  • CentreRadical RadicalCentreAustralia🇦🇺 (@CentreRadical) reported

@PaulRob11880584 @edwardatport @QuentinDempster My NBN is fast & never drops out, does what it should.

  • debra_mcgrath Debra McGrath (@debra_mcgrath) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@QuentinDempster @MrPhillipJHall1 Our NBN goes down whenever there is a storm coming

  • RossFloate Ross Floate (@RossFloate) reported

@smellersaurus So bloody dodgy. In the time I’ve waited for resolution to connection issues, I managed to get a 1gbps connection installed by Aussie Broadband in a house that had never been connected to either phone or nbn before. I’m ropable.

  • muzammilansari Muzammil Ansari (@muzammilansari) reported

@NBN_Australia NBN is down in North Rocks NSW 2151, the speed is pretty slow, never experienced it before. 10Mbps download and 2Mbps upload on the 50Mbps NBN plan, outrageous.

  • nadiaforindi Nadia for Indi (@nadiaforindi) reported

@QuentinDempster We live on a rural property in regional Victoria. We will never be able to afford NBN connection. Everyone I’ve spoken with who has NBN is plagued with issues. Service is appalling- takes weeks to get response. It’s a joke.

  • Richard24856748 Richard Smith (@Richard24856748) reported

@QuentinDempster Terrible NBN! I stream the computer through my mobile when i work at home

  • Laughatsaltyge1 Laughatsaltygeelong (@Laughatsaltyge1) reported

@QuentinDempster Wasn't that install free when the ALP launched NBN i know my cousing in rural farmland had no exorbitant costs and she got fibre to the house never had a problem ever superfast speeds

  • lilpaperboats Nick aka Löki (@lilpaperboats) reported

Right after posting this the issue is resolved. Damn it must be frustrating trying to deliver NBN. We've had numerous issues over the last year and all of them caused by @NBN_Australia with @Aussie_BB doing a great job trying to make up for their terrible service. Thanks.

  • Roberts54Af Amanda Roberts (@Roberts54Af) reported

@QuentinDempster @TonyHWindsor Where do I start? WFH was a nightmare with slow download times and persistent drop-outs. Now that it is raining, drop-outs are the norm. NBN have been doing quality checks in my street for a week. Not looking good for FTTN.
