Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@iiNet hey guys just wondering if there is an wife spread outage in the 3216 area (NBN) haven’t got any internet this morning and last night it was on/off

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

@justgrindinaway @ldrtwo2 Hey, ********, millions are small fry, let's talk in billions. Here's a few, NBN, Robo Debt, Record $270 billion military spend. Morrison's $1 billion on photo opps. How's that for consistent ****-ups? You're the muppet.

  • CroweDyl DCrowey (@CroweDyl) reported

@milobentley_ Check what your actual line speed is (ask your provider, or ask NBN). Aussie service providers will con you into a 100/40 plan when your line can only handle 50/20 max. In any case, 50/20 is more than enough to run a 5-6k. If you can’t, then it’s a provider issue, not a you issue

  • AnthonyRees Anthony Rees (@AnthonyRees) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra sent me an NBN connection device. It has all the wrong connections. So I called their customer support. The automated service sent me a txt message and hung up. Time to call @iiNet

  • GlennMitchellAU Glenn Mitchell (@GlennMitchellAU) reported

@intunedin I know the feels. Cut over to NBN last night - cut off at the end of the month. Went from cable with a VERY consistent 100mb+ all the time. Today, first day on #nbn and I dropped down to less than 20mb between 8am and 2pm.. And it costs me MORE each month for worse service! How!?

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@xander85 If the Maximum attainable Speed is not attainable on your current NBN technology or the line cannot support the speed customers will no be eligible for the speed upgrade offer. 2/2 -Mel

  • wicked9090 Wicked9090 (@wicked9090) reported

@milobentley_ Yeah so best case you can expect is 50/20 speeds Some providers may offer more, but I have never seen it be successful to the point that Telstra won't offer it What is mobile signal like for a 4G MBB instead of NBN?

  • ianbfarquhar Ian Farquhar (@ianbfarquhar) reported

@joshgnosis Well, as long as you’re referring to Turnbull’s garbage MTM, yes. But that needs to be seen in terms of a massive liability disposal by Telstra to NBN, literally socialising their creaking old copper and NBN Co paying them to do so.

  • TroysiTroy troy si (@TroysiTroy) reported

@9NewsMelb @MarylouiseMcla1 Broken promises again it’ll probably end up being something like the nbn. Finish it properly years later

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@xander85 To be eligible, the Maximum Attainable Speed on the line must be suitable for high speed NBN plan. If the Maximum Attainable Speed is unreachable on a particular NBN technology or the line cannot support the speed, the account will not qualify for the upgrade. 2/2 -Mel

  • _fibannachi FlatWhite 1 Sugar Xtra Hot (@_fibannachi) reported

@Optus Gee thanks. Meanwhile, since I was too uncomfortable progressing that conversation through chat, I asked for a contact centre number and was given a random business service number. I need a nbn plan. Is tehre someone who can help me?
