The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Even it's rollout was ill considered, eg shutting down the interim satellite during the wet season 😳 Specifically what NBN requirements can't be met by starlink ? 🤔 Starlink has ~250k residential subs, 350k total. Inland Rail was botched by LNP scope creep, & NDIS white-anted by poor oversight. For economic reform stock with Labor. Vision didn't fail; execution was gutted by the LNP.
