And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Telstra I’m currently waiting for someone to message me back on the Telstra chat. Can you help organise an NBN engineer visit please ?

@NBN_Australia Oh wow thankyou for the reply! 😳 It seems to be our network termination device, not currently connecting to the line? We IM'd with nbn last night and were advised a tech would contact us to arrange repair of the line or device replacement but haven't heard from them yet 😞

@Optus Wireless NBN Hervey Bay (Takura) is again on a dead slow and has been since about 7am today. Speed tests show 0.2MBps download speed. No known outages or problems on Optus Support. Please assist.

Is it possible to die from NBN withdrawals and general tech entitlement and first world problems? Having said that, as someone looking for tech roles, studying tech and a heavy user, this is totally ******

@Butters_X The speeds are actually really good, it’s like someone is turning the box off and then on again a second later. Nbn doesn’t see an issue when they come to the house because it doesn’t drop when they’re here so they just leave lol

@RissMeister @NBN_Australia if this is how you treat your customers and never fix any issues, that's despicable. Riss has lost so much of her income due to your incompetence. How about actually fixing the issue instead of saying, "Eh, nothing wrong here, just ignore it."

@MeckeringBoy Our PSTN used multiplexers which weren't fully ADSL compatible. That made us a priority for NBN with contracts let when Labor was in power. Current speed 51.8, never varies.

@AlboMP Maybe. IMO, the NBN is a white elephant anyhow In Oz, and the Telecos knew it, which is why the invested in mobile infra. I can't help but think that aggregated wireless (5G/4G), will make the whole thing redundant anyhow. Future wireless networks doubly so. Cheaper wireless!

@AlboMP LOL. 5G & then 6G is coming ALBO, that'll make Labor's stupid brain fart redundant. "NBN Co says about two percent of all premises - up to 238,000 - are still incapable of minimum 25Mbps peak download speeds, though it claims “the vast majority” of those see speeds over 20Mbps."

@NBN_Australia RSP advised that the outage that caused it was resolved this morning but there are still issues and connection still down for me. Seems like some cables were still left unplugged or something.
