  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

@Orpheus631 @NBN_Australia Because VDSL will only get 25mbit after 1200m. They knew this before they started. Keep logging faults with your ISP every day until the NBN meets their own minimum guarantee of 25mbit. Talk to your federal member about the poor service. I'm sure they'd love to help their locals.

Do not sign up to TPG AND NBN THEY BOTH SUCK WORST SERVICE EVER I HAD BETTER SERVICE WITH ADSL2 NBN 🐛🖕🏿👎🏿💩still nothing positive just passing the bucks 💩🐂💩👎🏿

  • SeanPFord1 Sean Ford (@SeanPFord1) reported

@LouiseGrimmer @duranduran I reckon you might have an nbn problem and you might need a geek. Is your modem showing a green light at the front?

  • Chrus_3 Chrus 🦖 (@Chrus_3) reported

Hey @Internode I just relocated my NBN service and lost my static IPv6 address. Was told by support that it's not possible to assign static IPv6 addresses "under the new system" and I'm stuck with a dynamic address now. Is this true?

  • rock_rockroll ROCK (@rock_rockroll) reported

Do not sign up to TPG AND NBN THEY BOTH SUCK WORST SERVICE EVER I HAD BETTER SERVICE WITH ADSL2 NBN 🐛🖕🏿👎🏿💩 NBN replied just to pass the buck to TPG I am reporting it to telecommunications ombudsman

  • ppossej Michael Jessopp (@ppossej) reported

@joelpmichael Unusual, yes. But given that nbn in now effectively "essential infrastructure" I think some additional hardening isn't necessarily a bad thing. Especially considering the impact of losing even a single cabinet.

  • HenriMcAlister 💧Henrietta McAlister (@HenriMcAlister) reported

@Chrys_Stevenson Its difficult. I have experienced same. Nbn believe they have no interface with the public and seem respond, eventually, to supplier notifications. Telstra now give money back but still slow response. Yr friend is due for a lot of compo.

  • Chrys_Stevenson Chrys Stevenson 💉 💉 (@Chrys_Stevenson) reported

@HenriMcAlister Yes. They just don’t want to know - so far. She’s been through this before. It’s a problem with the exchange box, but NBN refusing to help.

  • CentreRadical RadicalCentreAustralia🇦🇺 (@CentreRadical) reported

Nicole from the NBN’s minions hang up on me for deep breathing into the phone back to them. Will have to try something else.

@mase_the @_SaveOurStatues NBN under labor would have cost 2 to 3 times what it cost as fibre to every home in Australia was idiotic at best ..labor never ever come within budget
