The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

I hired plumbers, electricians, builder, concreters etc. They all have bank accounts. I paid electronically. The only reason for them needing cash is tax avoidance. Fraud.

Time to hook up with @starlink Issue here is local installer charges an arm/leg etc to install sys on roof etc. I may have to suck it up.

They rang me up and said how come mine where the only one still working. Because I used Temperzone Australian Airconditioners with adjustable head preasure I increased. I didnt tell them all they had to do with the other was remove the thermistors off the head preasure on the American systems.

And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

It cost me $300 up front to connect to the NBN, and it's been heartache since then. Those in my local area have not reported any issues since connecting several years ago.

I hated Optus, but I have to say, the NBN box itself never failed in all the years I had it. Will be interested to hear how you go with Starlink
