    @NBN_Australia No outage. Someone has been and kicked can down the road to someone else. Told it will be days.

    @adammalone @NBN_Australia I get that NBN is not supposed to contact the end-user directly (where possible), because it's supposed to be a wholesaler (not retailer) of fixed-line services. But still, you would expect that they are more efficient and sophisticated in handling issues like these

    @martinrev21 @AlexCurran95 "Privatise the profits, socialise the losses"... certainly applies to this scenario... similar, Netflix et. al. all get a profitable business because taxpayers built the NBN they use for free, no payments to help upgrade it, no taxes paid to support local media and productions...

    @Lola_lmao7 @NBN_Australia If they’re not supposed to ever deal with the end customer, the ISP should be empowered to advocate and respond on your behalf as with any vendor. We’re stuck in a sort of limbo where the support offered is platitudes.

    We have ****** NBN because Murdoch sabotaged the ultra fast internet Labor had ready to go when LNP was voted in Abbott through the behest of Murdoch told Turnbull to scrap it as it was a threat to Rupert's Streaming Empire and now Australia has the worst internet in the world

    @TPG_Telecom Thanks for the Julien. Is it a specific TPG issue? The reason why I'm asking is the NBN outage website states there isn't an outage currently at my address

    @NBN_Australia It's frustrating because the modem is new, and the NBN box seems to be fine - technically, there appears to be no fault. I am just cynical because I know NBN can take days to respond to fault tickets I need to work from home, and issues like these are a big disruption
