@emmadaboutlife yeah ISPs don't really sell it because well GPON FTTP isn't widely deployed. maybe with Labor back in power they can fix the NBN and deliver us all glorious fibres

@GarbageDotNet yeah the NBN thing is specifically an NBN limitation, rather than at the ISP level. they can only sell the wholesale plans they're given if the ISP owns the fibre itself, then yeah it's just down to bandwidth costs

@David_J_Harley Sounds similar to a problem I had. I’m with Aussie Broadband (they are great). They got onto NBN Co who ended up fixing some issue at the node. It took 2 visits from NBN techs for them to realise that’s where the problem was. Tried to blame my equipment 1st.

@Internode 1. Log a service class ROLL BACK request with the NBN to force a new connection to be provisioned 2. Keep our 5g wireless service active until NBN FTTN is active (as promised last week) 5/n
