NBN Issues Reports Near Grove, State of Tasmania

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Grove and nearby locations:

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • AnthonyPress Tony Press (@AnthonyPress) reported from Tinderbox, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia 1. These slow speeds are common across different service providers in the district. 2. The many times I’ve pursued this topic it becomes a duck-shoving exercise: NBN Co. says it’s the service provider; the service provider says it’s lack of capacity at the NBN tower.

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • BennyTheMonky Monky questing New Year (@BennyTheMonky) reported

We could be locked down till September or October? On the plus side i May finally get my bloody DSL port installed, nbn gods willing.

  • Aenemus Fredro Baggins (@Aenemus) reported

@NBN_Australia I'd prefer if, instead of spending money for people to trawl Twitter looking for negative feedback, the money was spent giving me fibre to the home instead of a worse service than I historically had. I've gone from 100mbps to 70mbps.

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

    @launtel @WatsonsTroops1 @fictillius Yeah I know, sorry wasn't having a dig at you. Stupid broken NBN :(

  • trishakmac Trisha Mac - 🇭🇲🇮🇹 + 日本語🎌 (@trishakmac) reported

@Telstra I replied 8 minutes ago. I still cannot view the Olympic opening ceremony and as a speaker of Japanese + close ties with Japan, this is totally disheartening not to see it. Is there an issue with @telstra NBN in Mittagong? #telstra #Tokyo2020

  • SuzyQsi Suzanne (@SuzyQsi) reported

@NBN_Australia Sorry. Been there done that. Our suburb has terribly old infrastructure. Thanks for reaching out but this has been a problem for years and our work around is phone data.

  • greensinspa 💧🏸 BettyG (@greensinspa) reported

@deniseshrivell Labor has proposed for the election to be pushed back but Hancock isn’t interested saying people can use iVote but the problem out here in SW Sydney is we have some of the lowest access to computers and poor NBN coverage as well as language and literacy concerns

  • Aenemus Fredro Baggins (@Aenemus) reported

@NBN_Australia Our area gets random drop outs everyday. Has since we moved over from cable. It is often the worst during the day qnd evenings so I am assuming a congestion issues. It happens across Coorparoo.

  • gnat Nat Torkington (@gnat) reported

@jpdanner @SwiftOnSecurity That's the way, mate. Never miss an opportunity to stick it to those Aussie wankers. Is it too soon to suggest that maybe they shouldn't have got the NBN people to do their vaccination program?

  • trib Stephen Collins (@trib) reported

@ABCaustralia @ABCTV @ABCthedrum we're in rural NSW on satellite NBN. For the past two nights, trying to stream The Drum and then the news on iview has been impossible. Constant buffering, long pauses where the stream gets stuck. Works fine on our (weak) 4G signal.

  • vanessa_young56 Vanessa Young (@vanessa_young56) reported

@KateEmerson88 I had this problem last year. We do not have NBN (not available in our area). We put up a rooftop aerial and it has made all the difference even during the most torrential rain. Use a local tradie, Telstra etc. are far too expensive.
