@mrgnarchr When they can build 5G, sell ‘unlimited’ at the same price as over NBN, but difference is they keep all the $$$ (and don’t have to pay a stupid cut to NBN), why wouldn’t to push it as an alternative that they actually make money from. NBN really ****** things

  • DarthMadV Darth MadV 🧛🏻‍♂️ (@DarthMadV) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@xzRich_ Our NBN only improved our upload speeds in trade off for DL speeds. Anyway just threaten to change companies if they don’t match the bill to what you think it’s worth or what annother companies offering and they’ll make u an better offer if they wanna keep you as a customer.

  • arafattehsin Arafat Tehsin (@arafattehsin) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I am super surprised to experience the quality of broadband in (or around) Sydney -- it still gets disconnected at least 5 times a week. @NBN_Australia and @TPG_Telecom, I'd highly recommend you both to get a better management because it sucks and it really does.

  • rodrigoelp Rod (@rodrigoelp) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom Definitely not working. The NBN router has the flashing red light for link. Unfortunately I don’t have a way to log into this modem as I didn’t receive a configuration for it. Very tempted to just request my configuration from you and debug it myself

  • bfgleb PaulieB (@bfgleb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus I'm on my third day + of 0.20-0.25 mbps on my NBN at home - lodged an online complaint and tried contacting by online chat. Can someone please get in touch in the am.

  • theorangepeach Adam (aka trash panda) (@theorangepeach) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@mrgnarchr Meh, if the govt wasn’t hellbent on trying to make a profit out of the NBN and actually run it as a utility, we probably wouldn’t see 5G being pushed so hard (stupid NBN CVC pricing)

  • midii Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jendudley Poor progress is the last place I lived. Brand new building. Cable terminates in power pole outside the building. No phone lines available for adsl. They managed to free up 4-5 lines for 40+ units. 2 years later still no cable or nbn despite building next door having it.

  • Angry_AB_ AB (@Angry_AB_) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Well.. all NBN have done since November is waste my time.. apparently im not important enough to speak to any manager in your “customer service team” (that’s what Angie from that team told me anyway..). I’ll DM you anyway.. should be fun..

  • Failingtorevers AnT (@Failingtorevers) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Your life can be ruined in seconds **** you NBN you took my stable wifi connection away from me , now my internet is ******* shit

  • vijayarumugam Vijay Arumugam (@vijayarumugam) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

  • TurnbullDavidR David Turnbull (@TurnbullDavidR) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Update. Only partially installed. Seems NBN didn’t connect from outside our development into the development. Delayed until March. Dreadful service and shoddy Project Mgt. Also had to pay additional $16000 for cabling!!. @NBN_Australia #nbn

  • Failingtorevers AnT (@Failingtorevers) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

My house got forced to switch to NBN and FFS the Internet cuts out every 20 mins and we are at half the ******* download speed What the actual **** have you done , do you know how frustrating this is

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ShaughnessyMat You should be celebrating......took us 107days to connect to existing connection, speed at best half of what we are paying for, continually "drops out" & have to reboot either NBN or Telstra Gen2 modem, 2-3 times a day. When system down no homeline, & grossly overcharging HGIT 💩

  • IaenCordell Iaen Cordell (@IaenCordell) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MichaelSmyth_ @NBN_Australia I wish I could get points for NBN scam calls! Already two this afternoon! When I tell them I am happy for them to disconnect the service they hang up, only to call again several hours later.

  • alicia94985048 Alicia McIntyre (@alicia94985048) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DaveVescio Nbn is crap in Australia!

  • midii Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jendudley Say goodbye to that. We went from 100mbps cable to 2-3mbps adsl to 50mbps nbn and paid the same for each service. Extra for the adsl cause had to tether to my mobile to actually use the internet.

  • VMCByrne Veronica Byrne (@VMCByrne) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm we don’t need you to tell us the “news”, we all have access to current affairs...alas not via NBN - which happens to be a very expensive piece of crap.

  • AndNowItsTime Michael Bassett (@AndNowItsTime) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @marklevy2gb, @NBN_Australia’s website is down...not helping I still confidence! #nbn #techfail

  • DarthMadV Darth MadV 🧛🏻‍♂️ (@DarthMadV) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@xzRich_ It’s so stupid because NBN is supposed to be cheaper AND faster but it isn’t and it pisses me off. We get ripped off in au for below average internet.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mwx205 crazycatperson 🌿 (@mwx205) reported

@theage @SupratimA Connection doesn’t equal quality - I had 100mbps cable which was replaced with 50mbps nbn - I was told I could pay extra for 100mbps only to then be told the fastest my connection will ever get is 80mbps - nbn is a bad joke

  • GumLeafWhistler Gumleaf (@GumLeafWhistler) reported

@cameronwilson Read with interest the sentence about copper legacy being a throttle at the moment. I'm not an network infrastructure engineer so bit confused. What legacy? FTTN copper or we talking non NBN services (eg: ADSL) that haven't been connected yet on same NBN network?

  • _steve_davidson Steve Davidson (@_steve_davidson) reported

Fwiw I am on a FTTB connection that is on a non NBN network that connects to my building. Somehow my non nbn FTTB connection is twice as fast and half the price of the NBN version

  • GillyBW16 Gilly (@GillyBW16) reported

@RBJRON @LeftyLongtitude @PaulFletcherMP Fletcher is already at war with all #SocialMedia by refusing to fix the #NBN

  • Brooklen_W BrooklEn (@Brooklen_W) reported

I need a Christmas miracle from someone. I need Bolasie on my account my internet has been down since Sunday and still ain’t back thanks @NBN_Australia

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@ArchieBoubie Hi Archie, sorry to hear you're having some troubles with your Cable Internet connection. I've had a look at the network in your area and there is a fault affecting the NBN service, however, this shouldn't include the cable service. (1/2)

  • Jason__Lei Jason Lei (@Jason__Lei) reported

@Optus decided to cancel our optus nbn and switch due to extremely poor customer service over the past week.

  • ivanhapac Ivan Harrison (@ivanhapac) reported

Oh @Optus no wonder you're net profits are taking a hit. Terrible ADSL connection speeds for the princely sum of $85 pm. Yet found out from one of your service team @NBN_Australia has been in our area since March for $75 pm! A paltry $10 off for the next 6 months. Hello @Telstra

  • barmat1725 mat bar 79 (@barmat1725) reported

@Telstra Her landline service is on NBN and she has not reported fault on her landline. NBN was put on 17 Dec. All she needs is a 16 digit Telstra code to unlock her phone. That's all she is requesting for.

  • simondotau Simon Wright (@simondotau) reported

@NBN_Australia @johnathanpiss Please don’t contribute if you’re going to be so woefully ignorant. Two bars of wifi on an iPhone is still a reasonable signal which would not be a bottleneck for most consumer internet connections. Do your job and stop deflecting.
