NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DeadBeardTV DeadBeard (@DeadBeardTV) reported

(1/3) Internet situation update: After a month of being screwed around (and 6 months of issues), my ISP booked one of their technicians to come out and inspect the problem. The technician confirmed it isn't an issue on the premises and booked an NBN technician to come look at it.

  • DrWez Blunt (@DrWez) reported

@DaveSharma Never judge a book by its cover. And it looks like the graphic design and type-setting was lifted from the NBN rollout plan anyway. Nice try @DaveSharma the charmer.

  • Ms_Sunshine13 Ms.Sunshine (@Ms_Sunshine13) reported

@Russputin2 @Bababooie42 @BecWrong Huh! I'm on Mobile Data these days & have Data Banking so I can save it up. Fast reliable speeds, $50 a month, 135gig, plus free calls & texts, currently have 450gig banked - I will never entertain the idea of accessing the NBN again...

  • DeadBeardTV DeadBeard (@DeadBeardTV) reported

(2/3) I made sure I was free for the day but no technician showed up. No courtesy message at all, I was just left waiting. I eventually called my ISP to see what was up and they said NBN had "dealt with the problem remotely" and had closed the issue.

@Peter_Fitz Great time for Telstra to slow down local services while they do an NBN upgrade. 😕

  • iamondday The Will of D. (@iamondday) reported

@NBN_Australia Done that and the investigation has taken over a week now. I just want my service reconnected

  • DeadBeardTV DeadBeard (@DeadBeardTV) reported

@NBN_Australia Hi Tommy, thank you for reaching out. I've sent you a message with my details. I've got my fingers crossed that you'll be able to help because it's starting to feel like I'm in a loop of being told to take it up with somebody else, with nobody actually trying to resolve this.

  • DeadBeardTV DeadBeard (@DeadBeardTV) reported

(4/4) Given the ISP technician confirmed the issue isn't on our premises, there isn't anything more we can do. I'm in limbo because @NBN_Australia keep closing our requests and ignoring the problem instead of sending anyone out to actually inspect the potential fault. I'm furious

  • KevinSw92208498 Kevin *fully_patched* Sweeney (@KevinSw92208498) reported

At the end of the day, multiple people had to wait three weeks to have the fault looked at, and there is no timeline when the fault will be resolved. Joy Just more excellent customer service by @NBN_Australia... 🤬
