@NBN_Australia Another mess from the Lieberals. This should have been the safest most secure comms channels, given how landlines were shut down to remove any competition .. and they spent billions of taxpayers dollars on it.. Instead it is a cockup constructed by committee.

The NBN doesn't work without power while ADSL did if you had a generator or an old rotary phone you could still use the internet or make calls. Now if the power goes out for days like it is in parts of Victoria (we are on day 3 of no power and cell networks where out for 2 days.)

Well, @Optus …. Here I am, YET AGAIN watching his pre-recorded war movies and train documentaries because THE INTERNET IS DOWN. AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES A DAY NOW. @NBN_Australia probably YOUR FAULT. @Foxtel YOU’RE NO BETTER It’s like the 1980’s in my house. Crank up the VCR

@redbigot @Optus I need to do the research again. When I bought this place Telstra owned the only connection so I was forced to go with them. But it seems like a monumental NBN issue more than anything else, and changing provider won't fix that.

@Lachlan_Mc @Optus They are just the provider. The supplier is still NBN Co with monumental issues in the supply line and maintenance of equipment. It would be nice to be treated like a human rather than a pesky problem but that's an issue with all of them.
