Turns out @NBN_Australia has told half of Lismore it can’t fix its nbn “Safety issues”yet some repairs are being done in the flood zone while others 20kms away up hill told it’s a no go zone.

@RobynAMilne @vanOnselenP You are minimalising the media effect on QLD. NBN has made half the state relying on slow internet. They simply don’t get a balanced news broadcast. I don’t know how to show you how partisan the media is here.

@EddyJokovich @SusanWilldo @abcnews I run a small business in regional Victoria. The NBN is so frustratingly slow and still has frequent drop outs, and thats without home schooling. Contacted local MP and got a list of service providers. 🤦

@EddyJokovich @abcnews It is bad in my area now& every 2 weeks I get a message from my provider that a maintenance of NBN is scheduled & disruptions R pending! It’s a joke!

@marcuskelson @Juanita_Phillip Hate to say Telstra too. No contract so you won’t be locked in. Not cheap cheap but not outrageous. During lockdowns it just worked and worked well, while colleagues with other providers had bad service and tech faults, looking at you iiNet! Caveat, I have NBN FTTP.
