@LambDownUnder @bigboatbruce @james00000001 We never had true competition before because Telstra controlled it all. We wouldn't be in the mess if LNP didn't sell Telstra as a single entity despite being advised to split. Then they wouldn't split and participate in the nbn build similar to NZ.

@NBN_Australia where is the update or information about the Major outage affecting the lower North of Sydney? As per the Telecommunications (Customer Communications for Outages) Industry Standard 2024 published on the NBN webpage.

@NBN_Australia outage in Picton 2571 NSW since 520am this morning, it’s now 320pm @TPG_Telecom tells me they have no further information from you guys. Not what the problem is or restoration time. What’s the story?

Personally, I still reckon Jane Goldsmith should be included in the mix as Nine have continued to give her network fill-in roles even after the announcement that NBN is going to WIN. Jayne Azzopardi you'd think, is more likely to fill-in for Sarah Abo as co-presenter of Today.

@SchadenfreudeA3 When the nbn trench crew were here, I offered them cuppas and took down a big jug of iced water and cups

@disco___cat @jason_king72 GST is fine ( Keating wanted it at first ). I didn't even mention the damage he did to the housing market with his CGT discount. No government sold out future generations to the Boomers like Howard's. And Abbott sucked - NBN vandal and climate vandal.

@herecomessuper And don’t forget the useless **** is the one who gave us NBN. That basically created another government run Telstra. For a technology that was never required.

@CazAusie @TimjboAU Medicare. Superannuation. HECS. NBN. Gun reform. Fair Work. Disability support. Paid parental leave. Minimum wage increases. Universal healthcare & education funding. ‘I can’t recall’ just means you didn’t look.

@SocialPiranha3 Yeah I do the Aldi $23 a month on mobile and now have almost 247.6 gb rollover data ... handy when the local NBN goes down.

@Someozbloke @deniseshrivell That's good in your circumstance. But it has been reported by others. I was more addressing why NBN is not a waste. The reason you still hear about it these days having issues is because of LNP screwing it up with a mixed technology approach. FTTP does not have these drawbacks.
