-
J Pipsam (@markdavaus) reported@robb_j_m I'm paying $99 for Gigabit, with NBN just giving me a FTTP upgrade at no extra cost. My parents paid $120 for 7Mbs a decade ago until NBN finally gave them FTTN. Price per speed on the higher end has absolutely come down in price compared to the pre-NBN duopoly.

Ferrousoxide (@Ferrousoxi29174) reported@highbrow_nobrow @Acyn Can we put this charlatan on mute. His NBN fix was a disaster. His hydro scheme also a disaster. Shut up Malcom. You are clearly an imbecile.
-
Stuart the Catman (@CatManSturty) reported@algorithmsayshi Seems to be a common issue with the NBA league pass and NBN providers sadly.
-
Green Tree (@TreeGreen2933) reported@robb_j_m I got nothing, NBN has killed all the independent providers that serves my community. I now get about 10mbps max through the mobile network if lucky.
-
Antking66 (@Antking1966) reported@robb_j_m Not only that the NBN unbelievably has never made a profit
-
Milan 🇦🇺🇷🇸 (@inter_miki) reported@designerontheru @AvidCommentator That's because the prices for 500 is the same as 100 which is a big problem because the ISP makes hardly nothing from your $95 to begin with. Maybe $5 as they take all the risk and NBN makes all the money

GeneralChat |🍍🍌| Charity Donothon 29th-7th (@General_Ch4t) reportedOK to explain the reason for missing my own Anniversary stream... basically there was a brief blackout here caused by a transformer blowing and it fried the NBN, so until a technician can come around on Tuesday I have no internet beyond my phone... I will try to make fir it somehow
-
Philip Wall (@BaronPhilbert) reportedRecommendations for new NBN service, please? After 25 years, @Optus feels it's more important to reward new customers than existing ones. Anyone had experience with @Aussie_BB or @Kogan ?

𝒮𝒽❀𝓇𝓉𝓎 (@ItsMissShorty) reported@osborne_sam @robb_j_m Not your reply. Weirdos be replying to me, then blocking me before I can even reply. What in the actual ****? Semantics. I don’t need NBN. Or any kind of home wifi service. My mobile data suffices.

M (@imboudee) reported@Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
