    @Adam_and_EVs I switched to starlink. NBN in australia was crap it kept disconnecting. Couldnt Game. Starlink ( mini dish even ) has been great cost the same, better service and that in a major city.

    @TopherField I signed up to Starlink precisely because of the NBN, and the way broadband is handled in this country. Got a technical issue? 9 times out of 10, NBN need to fix. But there is no direct line to them - you have to use your ISP as a middle man to send messages back and forth. Something gets lost in translation, start over. It is an exercise in frustration. The last words I said to my previous ISP ("Aussie" Broadband) was "you just made a very good case for Starlink. Cancel my account" Been on Starlink for almost a year. Not one single drop out, great speeds, even online FPS games run great. TLDR: **** the NBN

    @TTAlwaysWins NBN came and told me that it was my network, not the NBN. This is utter BS as the blue DSL light flashing has nothing to do with my network.

    @LeeroyLives @AngusTaylorMP So looking at that graph, the trajectory of expanding debt started under rudd and gillard and never went down Sounds about right. Looks to start that trajectory after the nbn started construction.

    Here in Sydney, we're still waiting for the Nine Network's switch to a mostly MPEG4 multiplex which among other things, will bring with it 9LifeHD. No idea if they're waiting for NBN to move out before making that change or what, but I guess patience is a virtue in any case!

    @ariel_haivri okay, but if it was a bunch of blonde nordic giyureses who converted five minutes ago... Something tells me Hadesh would be reaching out to NBN to charter a group flight and help get them set up for Shabbos.

    @TopherField I cancelled my NBN service after the council changed my address, and updating the NBN details proved too difficult. The address mismatch caused constant disconnections. I’ve since switched to wireless internet. Won't go back to NBN

    @STEVEFI14205588 when power and all communications services were out for 6 days after last flood my ISP disconnected my NBN service because i could not go online to pay my bill because the NBN and all mobile service was down. ironic that even when there is no service we still have to pay for it.

    @Nick40156474438 @Willygc13Will @JimThom90458694 I feel this. NBN is absolute ***. Every day I too get outages and need to reboot everything. So bad it’s a routine for me. Pretty close to changing to Starlink myself.

    @TTAlwaysWins I’m pretty sure our issue is water ingress in the pits. When it rains it stops working. The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasn’t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.
