@islejoseph @verge @NBN_Australia Government(s) + ISPs need to invest in infrastructure together & build upon fibre optic backhauls (backbone) nationwide to create 'National Broadband Network' for any ISP/RSP to connect premises; otherwise, everyone will be locked to only using specific ISP(s) in their area (2/2)

Covid support, FNQ support during no flights and stopped people drawing down on their super. Completely! To draw down on the Future Fund, you have to prepare a business case on how it will be repaid, with interest. Rudd tried to draw on it for nbn & was knocked back.

@TheBURGERMEIST2 Reminds me of a work story. NBN got installed at work. I set the password for the router, knowing that I'm the only one who ever accesses it. NBN installation was ****. Technician comes out to fix. Tech and bosses wife ask me for the router password... 'Let me come inside you' 😳

I got an ad from NBN saying the post codes with demand for highest speeds and maybe you could not waste money on this stupid ad and cut wholesale rates to give everyone fast speeds
