DissentingSkeptic (@DissentingS) reported@VoteLewko @Starlink Speed is latency. No satellite connection is "high speed" sick of the disinformation. Starlink is 20ms-40ms+ latency like mobile garbage is. NBN is a whopping 600ms latency. They need to keep this junk away from fibre areas where I get 2ms latency and have had since 2022.

We have the NBN in Australia and all that happened is everyone became resellers or add on service providers. The telco's wont disappear, they just wont have to pay for infrastructure anymore and become SpaceX resellers.

Pete (@Travellingtooks) reported@ArkinBarkin @Ryandally08 They hire their mates, ex Labor poles, retired bureaucrats as consultants eg NBN, NDIS, Telstra, etc costs and salaries go up while service fails.

At least once a day, but usually several times a day, the service drops out. Previously reported; NBN ‘tested’ & says it’s OK. IT IS NOT. … 1/2

cockitythegalah (@jlmcmlxvii) reported@p_terg IT ordeal 😵💫 They got the NBN on today. Box nowhere near the computer and computer doesn’t have a wifi adapter. So I did the dash down the road and got them a 10m Ethernet cable and away they go.
