A friend's internet has gone down because there's too much water in the NBN pit. It just makes me think about whether increased coastal rainfall from climate change will cause serious problems to the functioning of the internet (why wouldn't it...?)

  • AndrewHeslop Andrew Heslop (@AndrewHeslop) reported

Anyone in #Coburg having trouble with @TPG_Telecom #FTTC broadband today? Elderly pensioner on Hudson Street has lost access, NCD and modem both reset as per help desk advice but still no connection 🙄🤔🙄 #NBN

@billymckay123 Hey Mick, we're here to help. Are you having issues with your mobile data? Or your Vodafone nbn home internet?

  • KleinRevd Revd Andrew Klein ( Chaplain) (@KleinRevd) reported

@janine_mcmahon NBN and ' retailer ' mix is a farce. Retailer moved to end extant internet service as we were moving to the NBN. Was told that we were provisioned for NBN due to previous cable connection. Contractor turns up, insisted that driveway be pulled up & cost $20K +. No way. /2

@VodafoneAU Well @VodafoneAU I rang the number. The person said because I have 4 mobile numbers that is too many services and signing up for the NBN makes it a 5th service. So I can't get connected. I HAVE THIS SETUP WITH MY CURRENT PROVIDER, NO ISSUES. Why are you making this so hard?

@MaxLoomes The NBN in Darwin has slowed down dramatically in the last week.

  • simonmcbride simonmcbride (@simonmcbride) reported

“An unplanned incident is affecting the NBN network” at my home. There is much wailing & gnashing of teeth from The Teenagers.

  • KleinRevd Revd Andrew Klein ( Chaplain) (@KleinRevd) reported

Who is the current federal government minister looking after the NBN and Internet etc. Asking as I feel that it's time for a serious word in his ear. Please don't suggest Google as I am precariously balanced on a 3G network trying to cope with 4G and it ain't working. Cheers
