@SmurfingBeer @NBN_Australia This is my continued thought, or that NBN Co has mistakenly identified a DOCSIS upgrade that just plain doesn't exist. ISP support has been good, but it's been kicked back to NBN Co for further investigation.

Also the greens being like “we’ll give poor people free NBN” does this include the actual wifi to go with it? because that’s the truly expensive bit - I will say I haven’t fully looked into this pledge so I don’t know the ins and outs

@NukeForClimate @MrKRudd @Murdoch_RC Interestingly when NBN rolled out using overhead there seemed to be lots of issues with the structural integrity of the power network infrastructure then. Are all the maintenance budgets going into supporting the executive towers?

First world problem, but I’m currently chasing Schrodinger’s gigabit. @NBN_Australia says my HFC should be capable. My RSP says same. My actual connection? Not so much.

NBN at home (VIC 3174)has been having intermittent connectivity for over a week now. Some days no connection at all. Your outages site acknowledges an issue but no ETA still. Updates? @Telstra

@SmurfingBeer @NBN_Australia Not so much since the ACCC started grumbling. My problem is that I’m now paying for an upgrade that is 100% no different to the cheaper tier, all of the time. The tech should be better than this.
