@_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

@PandaTVoce You'd be pretty damn unlucky go not be able to stream with an NBN connection of any kind. That being said there are lots of tools to tell you what connection is at any potential place.

@lotacharlie Creating money pits is not in the national interest. The ALP screwed up NBN which was further screwed up by the LNP. Someone should fix that mess first. Digital communities are the future, not trains.

@NBN_Australia @Se77Evans Rubbish, you guys are doing nothing to support the providers, all you've said to my provider is that it's not NBN's fault as you can see activity and data packages being sent/received. Never thought @Australia would be so backward in their consumer support, it's bloody disgusting

@MikeCarlton01 @markgkenny We could have done with such reporting on the “carbon tax”. Objective reporting would have ignored the campaign and just straight out factually stated it was a market mechanism backed by economists as the best least cost solution. See also @NickRossTech on the NBN.

@SkyNewsAust @AlboMP Palmer said this yrs ago and Labor have never delivered. Let's look at NBN, light rails and other infrastructure projects. Not delivered or way over budget. Nothing has changed. If 🇦🇺 want change. Give it to someone who will deliver
