    QLD SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE: We currently have approximately 64,000 services offline. The severe weather and flooding across South East Queensland continues to impact the nbn™ network. Power outages remain the predominant cause to the disruption of services.

    @lizduckchong Landlord told us we had to pay for the NBN upgrade that was already being done to our entire block (we were one of six apartments), because "NBN is a luxury". Of course that our ADSL was about to turned off didn't matter; still a luxury! After enough '**** offs' he relented.

    Our network monitoring has confirmed mobile, fixed broadband and NBN services in Tasmania started coming back online just after 6pm following the earlier third party cable issue. We are running final checks to confirm all services are fully restored.

    @NewtonMark @Hytram Imagine if NBN’s remote unlocking of racks at POIs was also taken out by this outage!

    @NBN_Australia Happily about to install skylink to upgrade with optus@home Vodafone@home who give me 10mb each, and 900g of data just a bit slow, not NBN can't afford 5 satellites on NBN to get the same data.

    @JacobAnderson29 Hi Jacob, thanks for reaching out to us, no, that’s not good, it looks like there may be a line fault or problem affecting the nbn connection box. We recommend turning the power to the nbn connection box and then contacting your phone and internet provider. 1/3
