  @Freddy717263 Of course I knew the power was dead - but only for the NBN. Everything else in the house was working - hence my call. PS - I'm not an electrician, but at least I solved my own problem in the end but wasted 1 hour on the phone to 'tech support'.

  @Optus told me i could have s refund on my nbn bill after i told them i was going to ACCC and then conveniently the chat got disconnected (my mobile service also with optus. cant wait to be finished on that contract!) then its off to literally any other provider

  @eurodefencelive @brianluidog It's not well governed in any sense. There is a housing crisis made by encouraging speculation on property, imputation credits are an incredibly stupid idea, the NBN was a fiasco, there are ZERO forward thinking nation building projects being taken on, it is undeniably one of the biggest nanny states in the world. Everything about Australia is designed to discourage risk taking and ambition and encourage rent seeking and safety

  @james00000001 NBN 50000km of new copper wire $.7bil Now Telstra/NBN have to retrofit secure pits to stop people stealing the copper. Not a problem with all fibre. The LNP completely screwed AUS all the while paying their mates millions to manage it. #industrialisedcorruption

  @Adam_Creighton @DrCameronMurray This is what happens when you outsource what should be a government service to the private sector. Profit motive kicks in as do rorts & fraud. Also see the Unemployment Services, Housing, NBN etc. It isn't the scheme itself, it's the people who run it.

  @basedhaerin @50ShadesOfSeoul Data cap home internet plans used to be common before the NBN. Yeah true they were mostly a drastically slowed service rather than a hard stop (like slowed to dial up speeds), or there would be exceeds usage charges. However they were advertised as X GB per month.
