@NewtonMark @NBN_Australia They were supposed to be a limited profit corporation, anything above 7% fed back into the business to keep prices down, so where is it being funnelled?

Mark Newton (@NewtonMark) reported
@NickPfitzner @NBN_Australia That was predictable, and predicted back in 2008/09 when the implications of the copper disconnection mandate became clear. Telstra is now an access service acquirer just like everyone else; They ain’t special anymore.

@Optus Apologies for the confusion, I didn't mention NBN and it's not an NBN problem. Anyway, doesn't matter - all my accounts have been cancelled, that's why I was talking to Team B

@BrandDNA Well that NBN was obsolete before it was laid. Full fibre (which only needs upgrades at each end point) can provide 100x 5G speeds with no contention or environmental issues.

@NewtonMark @NBN_Australia This is what happens when the idiots at the NBN waste $11b buying Telstra's decrepit copper for their failed FTTN experiment. @MRowlandMP fire everyone at the NBN and make them lay for this ****.

Mark Newton (@NewtonMark) reported
@NickPfitzner @NBN_Australia It’s 100% owned by the federal government. It’s ALREADY nationalized. The government should be taking direct responsibility for its operations, just like they would for any other government-supplied public service.

@Pedra999 @Lyn_Col @googlenews Actually, my feeling is that both sides were at fault. The Mad Monk and he is Harpies weaponised the cost of fibre to the door as NBN was originally planned, and Labor went to jelly (wedge issue).
