    @moffat14 @TopherField You do know it was the Libs that ****** it up. Labour started the process and as soon as the Libs got in, they put the handbrakes on it and started all this NBN node ****. Fine to blame governments but at least blame the right one

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.     @Starlink Hi, I received the Starlink kit today. I thought the installation would be easy, but I found it difficult. I have decided to keep my NBN service instead, so I would like to cancel my Starlink service and return the kit. Please let me know the return process. Thank you.

    @jera_nichols @jackieaus @Starlink I'm Northern Beaches Sydney. The slightest change in the weather or HAARP signals - Chem Trails, all affect the signal which drops out as a result. It also drops out at 6.15pm EST most evenings. I run another NBN service in tandem as I run an internet based business from home.

    @adamnicotera @NBN_Australia Go to NBN outage page get no info whatsoever, have to sit on hold to service provider instead. How hard is it to put some detail on your own NBN outage page to save customers the running around ?

    @GearlessRoe I need internet, I'll go nuts without it. Heh. I miss gaming, waste of time as it was. I need some connection to the outside world, as much as I like/need my solitude. There is one section in this place where I get signal good enough to stream/use the internet well enough. Everywhere else is essentially dead. Miss being able to use the phone in bed, have to hotspot it & put it in one specific spot & use the PC now. See what happens/what I do these coming weeks. If I don't leave here/get kicked out for breaching them, and I can get more dollars in, Starlink will be the way. In theory. Shame though, $85 a month for only 100gb is an oof. My NBN plan with unlimited data at the last place was only $70 a month. Without further dollars/income, cannot afford. Will have to sort something soon. My entire situation right now is *not* sustainable.

    @TopherField the NBNs answer to not being able to lay fiber down and close gaps was to ***** fixed wireless towers for land to land satelite, for which each tower probably services on average like, 500 people, according to what the NBN told me anyway.

    @DAKKADAKKA1 This is literally the reason why Huawei was banned from even bidding on doing the NBN and 5G network in Australia, because Chinese tech is spy tech.

    @AnthonyDonB @Starlink Latency is terrible - it works but if you can get fibre / nbn - stick with that - even Elmo says it can’t compete with cable in cities
