  Waiting for nbn person to fix my internet. Has been down for over 2 weeks. Today my provider will take $$$ from my account to pay for internet i haven't been able to access. Capitalism is a beautiful thing BTW other countries fix stuff on the day but hey, oi oi oi oi

  @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone

  @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia The wireless modem is worth the extra $10/month. I can work, kids are happy, wife can do her work, but says it is slow, but okay.

  @jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 The NBN was flawed from the start but it sounds good so it had widespread public support. High speed internet would have been delivered by private sector with some govt support for rural Australia & it would have almost certainly been done quicker & cheaper.

  @desmondbratcat @nbn @Starlink In a sense its not the ISPs fault, its the NBNs fault. The problem as per last week, an NBN tech came out to connect someone in my complex. Seems he unplugged me at the pit. I don't know why we still have ISPs when they just default to the NBN to come out & fix the issue.

  @roberts_pa97578 I’d never use @telstra - the experiences I had with them as a network consultant for clients were atrocious - their NBN implementations/installations/services were pathetic

  @MadsMelbourne Booked @NBN_Australia on Monday - said they’d be there between 8-12 - took day off and no one turned up - incompetent govt that doesn’t give a **** about people’s time - @Starlink here income - FU NBN
