  Between the NBN upgrade and my new drive, I downloaded a 10GB movie last night in 4 minutes! I was astounded. Came back with a cup of tea, prepared to spend half an hour or so waiting, and it was done and part way through another. On an unrelated note, **** Disney.

  @Optus we were on the phone to OPTUS for THREE HOURS to some operator in India, we just wanted to move to a faster NBN plan, and they could not migrate our old account over. NIGHTMARE and Optus are outsourcing their support to useless people in India

  @QdenisT @AshPolitik Or the fact that what Abbott and Turnbull did with the NBN crippled the future of our entire generation at the most critical time to the point they should be thrown behind bars. That will and should never ever be forgotten or forgiven ever.

  Wow... #Starlink have dropped their price to around 1/10th of what it was, to try to attract customers in Australia, who are mainly, of course, on the #NBN. And for the first four months it's even cheaper than that, during their current promotion. Just a shame it's so slow.

  @DrunkAt12 @OMGTheMess LOL nbn was required. Dont ******* mention starlink, the latency is far higher and hardwired fiber network is far more reliable.

  @TheNoisyTrunk @Caitlen2310 @adrian_couper When LNP min. Richard Alston was asked which parts of Telstra he had sold, Was it Yellow Pages or the GSM network, etc, his eyes glazed over and he confessed he sold a 30% tranche of THE ******* LOT. Which is why NBN needed to build a new fixed network at huge public cost.

  @Adam_Creighton @DrCameronMurray This is what happens when you outsource what should be a government service to the private sector. Profit motive kicks in as do rorts & fraud. Also see the Unemployment Services, Housing, NBN etc. It isn't the scheme itself, it's the people who run it.

  Personally, I still reckon Jane Goldsmith should be included in the mix as Nine have continued to give her network fill-in roles even after the announcement that NBN is going to WIN. Jayne Azzopardi you'd think, is more likely to fill-in for Sarah Abo as co-presenter of Today.

  4/ Documentation gaps. Missing clearances from Sydney Water, Ausgrid, or NBN. Errors in the Section 88B instrument. A subdivision plan that doesn't meet Registrar General's Guidelines. Each gap adds weeks. A requisitioned plan resets the registration clock entirely.
