@JimRHoughton *******. It’s like the 70’s all over again. The only reason they’re putting nuclear forward as an option is because it will buy the coal industry another 10-15 years while they build a reactor. Then they’ll have to go renewables anyway. It’s the friggin NBN redux

Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@jdaalder No for weeks on and off. Twitter especially but certain websites. Tv streaming is fine which suggests this may be an NBN traffic priority issue

Damien Buckley (@damienpbuckley) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@jdaalder I’ve been seeing this weirdness too. Slow or no loading on wifi - so Telstra over NBN HFC. Turn off wifi - kick to Telstra 4G, all good…

@VodafoneAU I just wanted to cancel my Vodafone NBN service 😰😰. So far I’ve spent 1 hour 40 mins chatting to Vodafone staff (it’s impossible to call them during the pandemic). It was all agreed today. Tonight I get a bill indicating the service is not cancelled. WTF!!
-
Matt Guest (@Guesty22) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
Been working from home for weeks and today is the first connectivity issues I’ve had. WiFi has gone completely. Fair play to @Telstra @NBN_Australia they’re on the case!

Just Bullshit Malcolm, and you know it. You demean yourself trying to justify the total shit/fight NBN you created under the orders of the Mad Monk. You appear to have been enthusiastic in doing so. You will wear this like a wreath while you remain in this Forum.

-
Craig Acret (@jerrybr15619298) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland
@NBN_Australia Think it’s more a Telstra issue as it’s been 15 days with the nbn devices on hold in their warehouse. Thanks for your reply though.

-

From $55 down to $19.99 on release, Turnbull’s memoir is depreciating faster than the NBN
-

@MadFckingWitch We’re the country who believe the GFC never happened, that the ALP stimulus package was worthy of an austerity plan for the last decade and that the ALP NBN was a huge waste of money! Yep- saving lives and eliminating the CV is definitely a leftist ananda.

@AussieBecka @stufromoz I finally got through! Turns out it's an NBN issue. Technician booked for tomorrow morning!

-

@Optus @NBN_Australia Yeah I've done all that. This is not a new issue. I'm going to go back to the Ombudsman and try and light a fire under the NBN. It's an infrastructure issue.

-
Judy Gillespie (@judygi) reported
@Telstra 4th time trying to respond - internet keeps dropping out. No outages at my address according to link but our modem switches to 4g when NBN goes down but 4G not working reliably either
-
Hambo (@stinhambo) reported
@bencjenkins It's probably why the NBN was hobbled, ubiquitous service/broadband access means a more transient population, which means lower home ownership. Hopefully public housing around active/public transport links and decentralisation are nation building projects on the agenda.

JayBooker (@JayBooker117590) reported
Just tried to switch over my Optus internet to new house. After about 10 minutes the staff member’s computer at the other end still wouldn’t load so I hung up without success. Not a good look for a company I’m buying internet service from. #optus #NBN
-
Digital (@digitalcasts) reported
@ferg_CSGO Crap shoot but I’d think the infrastructure for NBN hard wired to homes would cost more and the distributor passes on costs to the retailers, 5g towers probs are more of a once size fits all just put everywhere and being newer retailers want to establish market share
