NBN Issues Reports Near Lowood, State of Queensland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lowood and nearby locations:

  • PoE_fanatic James Smart (@PoE_fanatic) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia I am still a little meh but I can work again now that I have a negative 'rona test. I have been in contact with Belong but as it's an intermittent issue, they're having trouble diagnosing the problem.

  • pedrocamargo Pedro Camargo (@pedrocamargo) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia, I have already accepted that broadband in Australia will be worse than most mid-range developing countries. But do you also have to lie to us on maintenance/issues? Why?

  • badgergloveppt Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@SanatanaMishra I never wanted a landline, but for years I had to have one to get ADSL. There were no naked ADSL options in our suburb. Ditched it the moment I got NBN. Only my mother in law and robocalls ever used it tbh.

  • ntniddrie ntn (@ntniddrie) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@MissEmmG @alivicwil @annaspargoryan 1. Not funny. Truth. I work in the remotest regions and people are more connected than my in-laws in central BNE. So it's age not region. 2. NBN does not equal internet. 3. Using FB is using internet. HN is still the worst option of all available choices.

  • chrisbrownjade Chris Brown (@chrisbrownjade) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@abcnews "Starlink's performance is "significantly better" than NBN Co's satellite service, according to a telecommunications analyst". More like Starlink blows Sky Muster out of the water, and that's with only a small number of total satellites launched so far 😳

  • thenebulaofcats The Nebula of Cats (@thenebulaofcats) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Looks like no stream tonight because @DodoAustralia can't provide a working internet service despite multiple insurances from their customer service saying my service is "Fine" #nbn #SmallStreamersConnect

  • dgr_dgr Daniel Rose (@dgr_dgr) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@SteveMolk @VodafoneAU What? I have to check mine. That's dodgy. And now I feel awful because I recommended you to voda NBN didn't I??

  • Scotty_McDonald Scotty McDonald (@Scotty_McDonald) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Hey @Aussie_BB, any update on an outage in 4151? Nothing reported on your site or @NBN_Australia

  • dwightwalker Dwight Walker (@dwightwalker) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Exetel NBN is down again when trying to watch Premier of Queensland announce new Ekka holiday

  • wakehamAMR David Wakeham 💊💩🔬👨🏻‍💻🏳️‍🌈 (@wakehamAMR) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Will be without NBN until at least Monday afternoon 😩 However at least the nice representative, Okmar from my service provider offered 25GB free to my mobile.

  • lorrainewhat lorraine (@lorrainewhat) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

The NBN is brand spanking new but two to three times a week I get a text advising they're doing emergency repairs in my area.

  • John_Heidemann John Heidemann (@John_Heidemann) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@steeviepee @ParamountPlusAU Reality is there are a number of factors that may affect performance. I’m on an NBN100 service so enjoy a good connection right from the start. I’m using an Apple TV device connected to a gigabit wired connection to my router and NBN. Everything is stable and no slow links. 1/2

  • RuaBrithem Rua Uilliam (💉💉💉 Pagan Prole Sewer Rat) (@RuaBrithem) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

The plumber ****** the NBN cable and I am now without wifi and phone. Plumber notntaming responsibility because it wasn’t “regulation”. Waiting to hear back from Optus to see when NBN can come out to fix it.

  • JamesCridland James Cridland (@JamesCridland) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@TheVinsomniac @NBN_Australia Good work! NBN was only down for half an hour, which was nice. But it sounds as if everything’s broken at your place. Sorry to hear it.

  • PagewoodCoach Rubens Camejo (@PagewoodCoach) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@BreakfastNews Talking NBN: Pine Creek, NT. Half way Darwin - Katherine August 2021 needed to apply for a Qld entry pass. Not even the local library could open Qld Govt website. If Cessnock is bad, Outback communities are medieval. Cessnock? Election priority? Hunter seat?

  • _jegg Jessica (@_jegg) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@BelongAU hi team, my NBN box has been flashing on and off for the last hour. Is there an outage in SEQ atm?

  • JDJhope Johann De Joodt 🇦🇺🏳️‍🌈 (@JDJhope) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@HarbourISP No internet in #Brisbane is there an outage? #nbn

  • tajpmahal TAJ PABARI 🇦🇺 (@tajpmahal) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@VodafoneAU poor form guys. Office modem you supplied faulty - 2 weeks of back and forth, 2 hours on hold yesterday, no solution on how to pickup new modem. First day w/ @Telstra NBN today. You lost a loyal customer of 8 years. 7 mobile + NBN connections @VodafoneAU

  • ElCanguro76 BWGraham (@ElCanguro76) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

One good thing about the #NBN being down today, I’ve given the bathroom & toilet a good clean, and steam cleaned the floors. My wife will be in shock when gets home #Brisbane

  • Waugh1963 chewyonyaboot (@Waugh1963) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@MrKRudd And the LNP’s crap NBN was on display for the world. The LNP has turned us into an embarrassing backwater

So are people going to be stupid enough to swallow Murdoch's flip on Climate Change and TRUST The same people who gave you such wonderful outcomes as: 1 NBN aka ***** Bias *****? 2 National Bushfire Crisis 2019 3 International Pandemic 2020-20 whatever? 4 Watergate, Reef-gate?

  • testok51981 tariq (@testok51981) reported

@Telstra Im having issues with my telstra nbn smart modem showing a blue light. I already reset it. Internet is slower then normal

  • Aussietranstara Tara #SaveSense8 #doublevaxxed 20/9/21 (@Aussietranstara) reported

Yes we all know @rupertmurdoch put the heavies on @HonTonyAbbott and @TurnbullMalcolm so we had a network that was cheaper and would not compete with Foxtel. We live in a digital world and NBN wants to charge us to upgrade to FTTP which would operate in blackouts

  • michael_wilde1 Michael Wilde (@michael_wilde1) reported

@NBN_Australia @DonSibleyGames The original FTTP NBN was meant to bridge the technological divide between the city and rural and regional areas, it never happened. You now just going to open that divide right back up again leaving rural towns, out west, behind because they are an inconvenience to upgrade.

  • j_foreigner jonnyforeigner (@j_foreigner) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Now to play the game: Is this NBN internet outage related to the current downpour, or is it a proper fault?

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported

@dailytelegraph Why? Don’t we have like a few other things to fix closer to home first? Like the rubbish NBN, the insane national debt, or all the money the LNP want to give to themselves?

  • charlietech Charlie (@charlietech) reported

Tomorrow is the last day my entire family will be working at home at the same time. Over the last few months our 100/40 @NBN_Australia service has not faltered. Its been online ALMOST the entire time connecting us for work & school.

  • michael_wilde1 Michael Wilde (@michael_wilde1) reported

@NBN_Australia If you did it once and did right with FTTP I wouldn't be contemplating moving my service to a 5G Telstra service where I can get 6x the speed that I currently get on my FTTN NBN connection. Can't get 350 Mbps downloads speeds on FTTN. But I could get 1 Gbps or more, on fibre.

  • amelielovesyr amelied 🕸 spooky 🕸 (@amelielovesyr) reported

nbn sucks so i can’t listen to casefile true crime 💔 i’m brocken

  • TrjnRabbit Adam Wells but unironically tired (@TrjnRabbit) reported

@Kermitron @ho_tross 'NBN Ready*' *There was an appointment for an installation three years ago that was never followed up and the address no longer exists in NBN's database.
