@NBN_Australia It appears that there’s ”an outage” affecting ”an area” and I’m in the affected area. I’ll get an sms when it’s back in service. I hope it’s not too late because I want to send two laptops through Windows updates before hitting the road in the morning. Not practical over 4G.

@geoffrey_payne Yes, it isn't bad for business grade fibre. At home I have NBN FTTP, and the 50Mbps speed. Usually works well. Should be targeting 1Gbps for fibre, though!

@JamesPinnell I never plugged mine in, it only ever had telemarketers, and now I’m on NBN, I’d need to buy a compatible handset, just to get called by telemarketers.

What a stupid country we are! The LNP took Rudd’s future-focussed NBN and turned it into two tin cans joined with copper and string. Now a third world 19th century network with snail mail speed. And the voters accepted this rubbish because they didn’t like Shorten! Fools!!

@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

LNP's NBN outage Qld NAPLAN 11/05/22. LNP's NBN outage SA NAPLAN 12/05/22. 61st in the world high speed internet. Disgraceful. Absolute failure of LNP government. Don't have a clue. Don't like NAPLAN, but this failure of NBN is country wide. Keep voting out the LNP.

Guess who just got an hour ban on ranked for @Rainbow6Game cause the @NBN_Australia can't offer a fttn connection that doesn't randomly kick you out of games, put your ping up to 21738 (actual number no exaggeration), constant speed drops to 0.05mbps down and up. It's disgraceful

@patrickkeneally @rgloveroz @abcsydney I wfh and am fortunate to have FTTP. My phone and internet is exceptionally reliable and fast. My colleagues that have fttn have a terrible time when it rains. I don't think we would have these problems if the NBN had been done properly, as it was initially designed
