  • Tur71e Brett Turville (@Tur71e) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus my 4G broadband at #stafford is so bad. Either that or the @Huawei modem. Not an isolated event. Really question the advertising around super fast 4g. Every night a snail pace speed. #nbn #broadband #nombps #slowinternet

  • mairzy3039 💧John Mair QGM (@mairzy3039) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

NBN on the cheap and submarines that can't go underwater. WTF.

  • Mcali4 liz (whose side are you on) franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@emlafudd @Telstra Actually the real scam is when the @NBN_Australia is connected. Absolute shite at my in laws at Albany Creek apparently. Drops out..unusably slow..pathetic.

  • CrayonANZ Dave Holmes 🇦🇺🇬🇧 (@CrayonANZ) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@zyzzyvamedia @Optus Been with @Internode on NBN for two years, never down, always fast. I guess it is some ISP and some location.

  • WhiplashUnited Mickey Dee (@WhiplashUnited) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Can’t even watch a five minute video because .@optus is useless. Worse still it’s NBN.I pay $85 month for a failing service. Rort.

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia @Optus NBN HFC 6 weeks of daily multiple dropouts. 4 NBN tech visits + 1 Optus & the issue is still not resolved. Optus modem replaced, NTD replaced, F-connectors replaced but tech not permitted to check the connection on the street. Farcical!

  • ema71080536 💧Ema (@ema71080536) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

What a stupid country we are! The LNP took Rudd’s future-focussed NBN and turned it into two tin cans joined with copper and string. Now a third world 19th century network with snail mail speed. And the voters accepted this rubbish because they didn’t like Shorten! Fools!!

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @Telstra @Optus.. Please help my darling wife I miss her 😢 #auspol #NBN

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia The problem is the techs that are sent won’t check the connection on the street. They change something internally for no good reason and report back that the fault is fixed which it is not. I go back to @Optus and the same process happens again.

    @factordex @Telstra @NBN_Australia Holy shit

  • MCooperAus Michael Cooper (@MCooperAus) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia leasing @Telstra copper with @Optus as a retailer is a perfect example of how three providers is not better than one. A lot of 👉👈 finger pointing as to who has the issue all the while the customer (me) with awful internet....#sortitout

  • TealJesus_ Teal (@TealJesus_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

this whole no NBN between the hours of 6pm-12am is getting REAL annoying @Telstra How am i supposed to run a livestream with 0.89 upload speeds. 3 days in a row! Y’all are starting to cost me MONEY. And i don’t wanna hear “We understand your frustration” just fix the damn issue

  • ChrisyG Chris Gillette (@ChrisyG) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

On an up note, the NBN dude turned up today and in shock I sniffled both my way through a bloody nasty head cold and emotion to help him install our HFC line. I just did a speed test, got 36.1 Mbs down / 18.3 Mbs up. Our usual was 5.74 down / 1.14 up. Things are bittersweet.

  • MsLisaHerbert Lisa Herbert (@MsLisaHerbert) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@carolduncan @AgPeriUrban Absolutely. We were on deck in Mackay during Cyclone Debbie & even the ABC went down to those worst affected. Phones out for days. Guy walked for kms down a blocked road to tell authorities his village was OK. Frightens me to think how the NBN will affect comms when power is lost

  • samf_66 Sam (@samf_66) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Each time a tech comes out they refuse to check the HFC connection on the street. They say they are not allowed to put a ladder against the pole. After 6 visits nothing is wrong internally so it must be the street connection. 15+ dropouts today. Please help!

  • neilmaddo10 Neil Maddison (@neilmaddo10) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Trying to get hooked up to @Optus nbn... Monday they said, now it won’t be. Ready for two weeks of arguing like last time. Customer service is not at all important to them.

  • Annieb25 Annie Pappalardo (@Annieb25) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Ah the #NBN aka National Bumpkin Network ... they didn’t disappoint. Trying to get the NBN connected is every bit the hell I expected it to be. Delivering fast and reliable #internet is not something Australia can get right.

  • jchimselfbigpo2 💧jchimself (@jchimselfbigpo2) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Have been with Telstra since 1972-have not had a problem. Now on NBN, still with Telstra- have low needs - fixed cost $88.00 per month - all local landline & mobile calls free. Suits me down to the ground.

  • glenn_rowe Glenn Rowe (@glenn_rowe) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra AGM sees them complaining about the NBN however their biggest problem should be customer retention. I always have a problem when contacting Telstra, tried to get an esim as a replacement for my physical sim, and I’m asked for a driving lience I don’t have. #esim #NBN

  • RRorter Roger The Rorters (@RRorter) reported

@DarrenChesterMP Tell us again what a great job you did with the NBN. Never trust the LNP to deliver for the regions. #auspol

  • alok77 Alok Desai (@alok77) reported

@TPG_Telecom Again the NBN is down. 2nd time today and also same happened 2 days back You need to fix this from happening time and again. Also it's not safe to message you details here.

  • KellyAlspals chris kelly (@KellyAlspals) reported

@FinancialReview Hard to believe any board people from previous years are still there. After the Holgate disgrace all of the board should have redigned. The NBN has been superesded by Starlink which has no blackspots and is far quicker up and down. Shut the NBN down.

  • G_Robinson_75 glen robinson (@G_Robinson_75) reported

@AustralisPiper @Mike727health And yet my NBN drops out. Maybe Telstra should move to the moon if the signal is that good

  • dgaust dg (@dgaust) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@troyhunt @home_assistant @Aussie_BB You'll probably need to turn on smart queues on your UDM Pro (I think I recall you have one of these). Otherwise the NBN policer will throw a fit on uploads and you'll get horrible upload results.

  • el_laney Laney 💯 + 1 (@el_laney) reported

@Optus there's NBN outage at Kew, do you know how long it will be? And will it be fixed by tonight? Thank you.

  • BazzaCC Barry Mulligan (@BazzaCC) reported

Twitter is so slow this morning...... I think it's my bloody NBN connection. 😠😠😠😠 Bloody cold again as well!!!!

  • awmalloy Tony Malloy (@awmalloy) reported

Never thought I'd say something like this but I'm very impressed with how efficient and helpful the NBN has been in getting us connected. Nothing too much trouble, speedy response to solve issues. Couldn't ask for more.

  • rowancrowe Rowan Crowe (@rowancrowe) reported

@troyhunt FTTN here. Barely sync at 25/5. I thank Turnbull every day for allowing me to straddle (but not actually cross) the threshold of NBN's minimum acceptable service level. Apparently you can run FTTN and FTTP concurrently after the upgrade, at least in the short term?

  • DNAslayer Irish (@DNAslayer) reported

@AlboMP Please explain how the ceos of nbn and Australia post got their pay rises when they both offer a useless service. Know I know why austpost put up the prices of postage. This stinks of ahmed fahour all over again. No cash splash in the budget, will you be taking your salary rise?
