arvinalcasid (@ArvinAlcasid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus 5 days no NBN service and always get a reply from a bot that I will be directed to an expert but the “expert” apparently doesn’t know the answer.
-
David Moore (@DavidMo70005810) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra You just put my nbn bill up. I can’t cancel within contract without a penalty but you can put prices up. When the contract expires you will lose a 20 year customer. Mobile and internet. So long. Never to return

AJ Steel - Artist (@ajsteelofficial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@NBN_Australia Thanks Jo, spoke to Optus, they logged a call with #nbn and the issue has been resolved.

Hi @Optus my @NBN_Australia connection is down and your app is also down meaning I can’t report the fault. Suggestions?

Now to play the game: Is this NBN internet outage related to the current downpour, or is it a proper fault?

@superloopnet Hi Superloop, is there an outage in Essendon, VIC, 3040? Can’t seem to get the internet working. #superloop #NBN
-
Paulie Ferrari (@paulieferrari) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@AussieAppsro @carloslicea1 @AngloBeat Agree, when you consider how any corporates are now using nbn, yet I heard nothing from my employer about their main offices impacted by network outages. Another #freedumbrally fairytale
-
AllThatKazz (@AllThatKazz) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Significant @superloopnet outage to nbn service since 6:11pm Saturday. No advice posted for resolution of service. Online Uni exam tomorrow.
-
Dominic Bock (@DomBock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
The greatest irony is seeing the outcome of the LNP's substandard NBN delivery in their poor videoconference connections to parliament. #auspol
-
Pratik Sawant (@pratik_sawant10) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@BelongAU My NBN seems to be down for past couple of days now. Speed looks healthy but none of the content seems to load. I also checked and there are no outages in 3122.
-
Rod Sims 💉💉 (@rodneysims) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria
@PaulFletcherMP Paul, I am thankful that my ISP is maintaining its HFC network so that I don’t have to connect to your NBN.
-
AllThatKazz (@AllThatKazz) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@superloopnet @NBN_Australia Already discussed issue with @superloopnet. You can keep your $5.00.

Anybody else in the Moorabbin or Melbourne South East area having internet issues with their @Telstra nbn connection?
-
Ben Grodeck (@benleo_econ) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@yannikyriacos Due to the below par NBN network we have, that extra fast internet will come in handy.
-
Paul Lenkic (@PaulLenkic) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Intermittent @Telstra NBN and @Foxtel issues all of a sudden! The worst timing ever! 🤬
-
Joe Connell (@josephsconnell) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@WillTaylorNZ @NBN_Australia @iiNet Yea that’s not a good term. It’s basically mobile broadband caught by a modem and turned into a wifi signal
-
💧💧 Llewellyn Griffiths (@llament) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus I am an Optus customer. The caller didn't claim to be from Optus. Since I recently received a couple of text messages from Optus regarding NBN maintenance in my area it seemed unlikely that they would be followed by a threat to terminate my connection
-
AJ Steel (@ajsteelofficial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Is anyone in #Reservoir having problems with their #optus #nbn connection?

Tone Deff (@itstoneee) reported
Does anyone else pay for @optus NBN and @OptusSport and get kicked off every 3 minutes you are trying to watch EPL. Then everytime you refresh you have to watch those god awful Ashley Martin hair growth ads over and over again?
-
nimue_du_lac (@NimueDu) reported
@markhumphries This is problem for NBN's management, not for any landlord. The landlord should never pay this - only the NBN account holder, and they should only ever be charged ONCE in their lifetime. NBN management need to fix this!
-
Sven (@sg1_dad) reported
@markhumphries This cost should be shared between the owner and the tenant. Adding value to their asset. That’s the issue with NBN can’t uninstall. Some providers are giving free installation if you start with them for 12 months. Mine did.
-
Robert S. (@Robs_au) reported
@frosty_morgan @markhumphries The only thing that comes to mind - some appartments have various non-NBN systems that developers cashed in on during the slow rollout, or TPG has quite a lot of its own FTTB systems in buildings that were near its fibre network.
-
Philippe (@GabertPhilippe) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@markhumphries TBH, although I think they delivered a terrible service for the install. at my house, I was happy to only pay $300 for the « actual » connection of my house. (work on the street, weatherproof boxes on the house, etc.). The overall process must have cost NBN more than $300.
-
Nathan Barton 🇦🇺 🇹🇼 🇺🇦 (@NBarton) reported
@NBN_Australia NBN tech said with line speeds of 45 down and 8 up I should just go with @Telstra 5G.
-
Jaime Romaguera (@SharkBoy66) reported
@markhumphries You know there are ISP that do provide 5g internet. No cables to plug into NBN (doesn't rely on NBN infrastructure) no connection fees. I July hope they provide the service in your area?
-
Nathan (@Blue_Pie_Ninja) reported
@Ozesurfer @markhumphries @FiennesIs If you do take it the black box NBN gives you, it won't work wherever you end up. Although I'd recommend taking it anyway, **** paying $300 to set up the landlords internet connection.
-
Life and Larder (@lifeandlarder) reported
@MossScarlett3 just got a message from Telstra to say my nbn is down until 27 January (and it’s already been a few days). Dusting of the old Dvd’s. Save a few just in case!
-
Looch (@SpallieraL) reported
@markhumphries Getting NBN connected is free. The cost is getting your internet service provider connected. Are you sure you are asking for the right thing. All homes were supplied an NBN box connected to the landline in the home. Does the rental property have a landline connection in the house
