    @taipan168 Many corporatised, but publicly owned, entities provide great service. NBN is pretty good for example. Even Australia Post isn’t bad. Govt doesn’t have to equal bad and is much more preferable in monopoly and quasi-monopoly environments.

    @SimonBanksHB “Modelling shows” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Labor modelling also gave us $275 lower power bills, mining tax revenue, a surplus and NBN timelines that never arrived. Publish the assumptions, not just the headline. Young Australians deserve evidence, not spin.

    @1RogerWoodward @RoguestGypsy @Telstra Dude it's not wide spread for nbn... it's telstras mobile service... only very few are having issues with nbn

    @BeauGiles You typically use the mobile network as the backup to a wired connection. E.g. at our business the NBN was so unreliable we installed a 4g failover modem, but you need to know they exist & how to configure them. Most people don't have that level of IT know-how.

    @timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....

    ATTENTION DUE TO AN UNFORESEEN NBN SEE SERVICE OUTTA STREAM TONIGHT IS CANCELLED i am so sorry for those looking forward to the kotor 2 stream and i will be looking into alternative internet providers such as Starlink that are apparently far better for my area then the old
