Moved house… one week later there’s still no internet. Tracked down to the NBN who refuse to speak to customers. Rude techy hung up on me and my internet provider. Interesting times.

  • contrer_as Rafael Contreras Rodríguez (@contrer_as) reported

@Only_Anthony1 @NBN_Australia >10 years ago NZ had the slowest and most expensive internet, once I got a $3,500 bill because I let a friend crash for a month, and he spent it playing online. Thankfully Telecom NZ took pity on me. Now I get 937Mbps (no decimal point) down, and I’m not even close to the city!

  • fluffylynx Riley (@fluffylynx) reported

@WolphIsWatching @iiNet iiNet suffered too many mergers. We've had a good experience with Aussie broadband NBN so far though. The one time we had to call them for some obscure technical setting we needed they actually understood and were able to help. Really need to move my mobile plans across too.

@RoadknightThe Blocks away at the nearest node. He spent 6 hours working between the nodes and fixed it. Apart from occasional network outages I have not had an issue with the NBN. Stick to it eventually the right tech will show up. Amazingly for all the techs that previously worked on the ../4

@NBN_Australia Here's hoping @MRowlandMP can actually help get us back onto the original rollout plan under Rudd. Everyone should be eligible for upgrade, not just those who signup for it.

  • redrideraus Josh Freeman (@redrideraus) reported

@DavidHuett @QandA The media are the most culpable for all the issues that society suffers from. They pushed the anti NBN stuff, anti climate action, that budgets need to be balanced and to sell all our assets etc. Hopefully this is the end for MSM. Murdoch couldn't get Morrison up.

  • redclaw42 Dire-Wolff - Kuku Yalanji Country (@redclaw42) reported

@manjusrii Yes, thanks for nothing Abbott, Turnbull, Morrison, McCormack & Joyce! Rubbish & expensive NBN needing substantial rebuild & lost opportunity for a functioning National renewable energy network! 9 years of lost opportunity, waste & division! No longer #PoorFellaMyCountry!#auspol

  • davidclarke614 David (@davidclarke614) reported

@owl_perplexed @guardian Designed Policy of keeping wages down Lied about and denied climate change. Blocked their own ETS A mandate both parties took to an election. Hid from the voters that the energy was about to go up until the election was over. Ruined the NBN and cost three times the 30B promised.
