@jessicalalor @Aussie_BB Small thinking Jess. But the real reason was because it was it was a threat to NewsCorp and Telstra. Lots written on the battle over the Foxtel Telstra cable network effectively having to be written off due to NBN.

I'm sad & frustrated I hate @NBN_Australia This is our livelihood, we've used an enormous chunk of our savings for an FTTP service they still haven't activated Our regular adsl drops out Someone from NBN will reply to this tweet, apologise & ask for my details, & then do nothing

@butchcoolidgee Hi Butch, it is true that there is an NBN box shortage for HFC customer but this will not affect the address that already has an NBN Box available there. 1/2 -Mel

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia Not only have the nbn failed to deliver a FTTP service for most of Australia, they (the nbn and Australian government) actively block other private entities from building their own networks that would be faster and cheaper.

@millionsofmyles we cancelled the NBN today. Their “fixes” didn’t work. Complete piece of ****. If someone text me a photo, it wouldn’t even load. Worse than 3G.

@LeonRyan @hexsteph @NBN_Australia They’ll deliver eventually. It sucks but they know they have no competition. If you need the service you will pay and wait, they have the power in this situation. ACCC would be your best bet but that’ll take longer than 6 weeks

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia The NBN is absolute dog **** imo, it's a good idea but excited so poorly 3rd party companies do better. Not to mention that the rates they stated, I rarely even get. They should do more work behind the scenes so that Australia can have some compareable internet to other places

@hexsteph I feel the same, I live in an area where you can drive 10 min down the road and it's nbn, on either side of my suburb, but my suburb is stuck with skymuster?. Our ADSL also has issues every few months.

@hexsteph Lol my family tried to connect to nbn last year. The dude came out and said "we need to put in a trouble ticket, your area isn't ready it's a big deal n ****" then months later we get billed for a phantom nbn connection we never recieved.

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia As a few people have mentioned... Put something in writing to your local MP. As it's a government company, they are obligated to look into it. Next make a complaint to the TIO for them to investigate
