No internet for a while, phoned #iinet to see what's up. Spoke to a nice tech called Ishmahill (maybe?) and he worked out that I have been a customer of #iinet longer than he has been alive. (Powers back on now, was NBN's fault). I'm so freakin' old...

@AnikaWells Wait till the total cost come out!!. The recipients never contributed to this scheme, so it falls on young workers to fund. It will be $ billions Labor just write cheques. Like NDIS, NBN, launched by labor never funded. Age care generational issue. Families should contribute.!!!!

Hooray, the home internet dropped out again. Is it the router? Is it the NBN box? Is it my computer? Is it the local node or whatever I connect to? I am going to blame Malcolm Turnbull, that may not assist in fixing the problem but at least I know it's ultimately correct.

@Telstra im having issues with my nbn modem, the light goes to blue and i can only restore it for 24 hours to go to green by waiting 4 hours and unplugging and plugging the thing in, then the exact time next day its fixed, it goes back to blue

@tomfoster66 Merely legacy very early TelFox from the early days of Foxtel (?mid 90s). Free trial then never fell for getting it. The harassment went on for months. For NBN 'changeover' they merely hook up somewhere 'out there'. A name change, in effect. A complete joke, (on us).

@TruthdriverOn @JEChalmers Facts about the "trillion dollar debt": 2007 - Labor inherited $20B credit 2013 - Labor left $300B+ debt plus ongoing legislated but unfuded expenditure for NDIS, NBN, school halls, pink bats, etc 2019 - Libs brought down surplus budget 2020 - Covid required huge expenditure.../2

@NatColeman28 @Channel7 Exactly its ****. And I have a really fast NBN connection so they can't blame that.

@L1nko64 @Canadianguyehh Take Australia for example. Our internet infrastructure is really poor. Even if you get a really good NBN plan it's still a dice roll on if you get the speeds you're paying for. Making even single player games borderline unplayable depending on where you live.

As many of you know I live Whoop Whoop when it comes to telecommunications. Problems with Telstra and NBN Satellite. My concern going with Starlink was you can't talk to human. My experience with NBN is that they need to be dragged kicking and screaming to fix speed issues.
