    Update: I’ve rebooted everything, it’s not an issue here. Major drop-outs on Optus and NBN, terrible ping time on NBN. I am triple-redundant, so now tethered to VODAFONE - not normally the fastest connection here, but currently SOLID.

    @NBN_Australia The provider is Telstra and they have issued a letter saying either disconnect and get refund or just continue to pay for a service you can’t deliver given they are 91 and need the connection guess how Feel about those options

    @joshgnosis Telecom back in the 90s had a plan for a nationally owned fibre to the premises broadband network where every Australian citizen would own an equity stake. This was before Telstra privatisation. Would be interesting to FOI those plans and compare to existing NBN.

    @PaulFletcherMP @AngusTaylorMP When will you fix the crap NBN fibre to node that is in Tahmoor...it's been stuffing up my business for the last year. Provider says it's NBN fault. NBN is booked by provider. NBN fixes a little bit...then a few weeks later more NBN faults?

    My wireless NBN is running a ping time to 8.8.8.8 of ~1.5 seconds, with 25% dropouts. Restarted everything, no better. BUT, switching to Optus 4G, average 138ms round trip, but STILL drop-outs. I suspect it’s a local problem, and all going through local Telstra infrastructure.
