    So much for being notified of when the team were coming @NBN_Australia now I don’t know what’s happening with my connection as I’m interstate and my mum couldn’t hang around to see out what they were doing.

    @shaunacohn @Starlink If there is no service in your area, it’s likely due to development, outage or missing database record. Check the NBN Rollout Map on their website. Verify your address. Your address may be missing. There is widespread NBN coverage on Gold Coast. Check their website.

    @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

    @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I ended up using iiNET because the offer a 4G backup, very important for work. And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

    I really am angry the LNP rooted the NBN. Now I have to seriously consider Musk’s Starlink for my Internet especially since both Telstra & Optus have & are having issues.

    I've said time and again that the NBN is a white elephant, and that it would be destroyed by competition... IF competition were allowed. Of course like-for-like competition is NOT allowed... the NBN have a monopoly on wired internet... but guess what? They're STILL being out-competed by the private sector anyway, because wireless technology has come a LONG way fast... After all the tens of billions we've spent, Australia still only ranks 43 on internet speeds (worse on some lists, I'm being generous) and still users are turning to the private sector because the NBN cannot help them where they are. Amazing. Government never makes things better, it only gets in the way of the private sector who WOULD make things better... if the government weren't in the way.

    @NBN_Australia how bad is the NBN !!! - took annual leave today and no bastard turned up - FU NBN - you’re another govt disgrace - they couldn’t give a **** about the customer or their time - another @ausgov disaster - we are a third world country

    @BrentHodgson What's more interest in is the land mines left by a government. The education reforms from RGR, NDIS RGR, NBN RGR just 3 that spring to mind. Abbott should have smashed them all up and we would be in a much better place now with cut down versions. That alone over 10 years must be $500bn.
