@7NewsSydney @PeterDutton_MP @TurnbullMalcolm Should take the 830 million from Turnbull's Cayman fund and Great Barrier Reef deal. He is the sole reason for the horrible French deal, Nbn failure.... Time to tax the **** out of billions that profit from Australian owned resources.

  • Spi_AU Spi (@Spi_AU) reported

It may all be moot as a complaint as recent developments probably mean more time at home, just using NBN becomes more viable. It's just daft that you'd effectively have the choice between 9 Mbit and 0.5 Mbit with nothing in between. 🙃

@DDsD @Aussie_BB sooo... no provider can help when the NBN is a problem? Does a provider literally just connect you to the NBN and then thats it?

@NBN_Australia No I am not. It’s been out since 6am Sunday morning. It was meant to be restored by 7am today. @telstra have been useless with their help and cannot provide info on when it will be restored! Impossible to WFH when isolating from Covid. Now I lose a days pay! Unacceptable in OZ!!!

@Mawso71 @MichaelBrebrich @RealMarkLatham NBN isn’t cutting technology. It’s just infrastructure we don’t have. FYI. So different issue we are addressing.

@TPG_Telecom Hi there, my NBN internet has been down since this morning, could you please advise the problem and when the service can be restored?

  • domino_jack Domino Jack (@domino_jack) reported

@Carpo_31 @Aussie_BB Yer... they say that NBN won't do anything unless its more of a problem. Apparently a drop out every day is not a problem.

  • Websta_Black Websta (@Websta_Black) reported

@thedangerbeard My lifx will only run thru a wifi connection not mobile data. My wifi comes from my nbn. So if nbn is down there is no wifi available. It's ok. My internet is back for now..

@BetterStuffToDo @Monocotyledon What they charge for retail services is irrelevant but the fact is at the time they already had a massive fibre network, they had the resources to build any NBN. Indeed they would have done it cheaper than starting a new company.
