    @Kris_etc_ Australian internet is only crappy if you got any version of the LNP NBN. Fiber to the home is really good. Fiber to the node can either be really good or bad (proximity to the node, if your next to the node you basically get the FTTH quality) Anything else is bad.

    @TraceyLee_07 There's never been any accountability as to how much is ripped off the tax payer with any government contracts. NBN and suburban police stations are perfect examples. It's a honey pot.

    @CARN0N Cities need fibre. Starlink is a perfect solution for rural environments. Agree the NBN was a mess from day one with the mixed network. They should have just ran fibre to every house back in 07

    @Kris_etc_ Because we've got incredibly low population density, meaning that it's an expensive service to provide. Free market providers are only going to want to provide internationally competitive internet in our major cities. And the government could do it with the NBN, but... (cont.)
