@NBN_Australia the fastest we’ve ever got on FTTN at ny place is just under 40 down, 19 up. 20 year old copper in the street, node is ~220m away. Been measured at the house entry point by multiple techs, they all say it’s street cabling issues. How do we get this fixed?

  • victoriahotspot Matt Martin 🌹 (@victoriahotspot) reported

Me NBN **** the bed so I'm working off 4G hotspot stuff until the chap turns up on Monday to fix it all.

I just literally switched to @NBN_Australia few months ago and had outages! Quite unreliable compared to my ADSL service before @ACCAN_AU @Aussie_BB

great my parents' business phones all got switched off last night in the move to NBN and the Telstra call line is not open... looks like they'll be angry at me as they won't be able to work until next week because I don't fix all their problems earlier because I have my own life

  • richardolsen Richard Olsen (@richardolsen) reported

@optus network status has our NBN cable as "reduced service" and "under investigation" according to their webpage for the last 24 hours. Maybe "not working" "due to Murdoch" might be more accurate?

  • BronwenZ Bronwen Zande 🔜 yow20 (@BronwenZ) reported

Our #nbn was down for over 12 hours ... lucky I still own physical media and we were able to watch a movie last night...lol

@optus Coming from a long time telstra customer made move to optus. We booked NBN initiation date for 1.12 and was told modem would arrive before. Modem no was a show. When I called to follow up modem was told delay and no technician was coming bc my house was NBN ready (pt1)

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@thewildc4rd Hey Sabrina, not great to hear you're having some issues with your NBN order. We submit the request to NBN for the appointment date, however, at times NBN may cancel. We'd be happy to look into this further to see what's going on, just send us a DM for more help. Geo

  • Igottatweetthat Jay Luc (@Igottatweetthat) reported

We have had @Kogan #nbn for 4 days and it is utter shite. Devices can only pick up the signal within about 8 metres from the modem, and that's ONLY if there's no walls between device and modem, and your device is pointed towards the exact direction of the modem.

  • Neil1808 Neil (@Neil1808) reported

@zeroxcliche If industry is not given some protection then all their employees are in trouble too. The NBN is nothing like the railway. Running a train with a 3'6" gage on a track 5' wide is impossible. Transmitting a signal on wires when the fibre cable ends is possible.
