@LesStonehouse Yes they are out there. NBN technical service calling, etc. The most convincing I had was I was called for jury service, and it took a few minutes to realise they would write!

@Telstra Thanks Jimmy. Trying to get my NBN service to show up on My Telstra ap so we can manage parental controls so our kids don’t stay up all night watching Telstra TV. Apparently the fix is in and will take 48 hours.

Guys anyone use IINET nbn how are their speeds do they match their claims, thinking of getting the 200mbps speed plan. How is their support tech billing etc when you call them? Thinking of pissing off Telstra again. Thanks in advance

@CeagleChris @VodafoneAU Foxtel is the worst to deal with, unless you get the call center in Australia...and ironically the team here is the disconnections section. Optus I find hit n miss. My ISP since going over to NBN is shiphouse customer service. I’d rather watch reruns of Mind Your Language.

@NBN_Australia how is a provider going to fix a fundamental infrastructure issue? The root cause of Australia having one of the worst broadband speeds (even donestic) in the developed world is the extremely poor network we have that is cobbled together from outdated tech.

@NBN_Australia Yes, it is back up today, but the fact that there was a ~8hr outage that wasn't acknowledged by NBN despite there being a tech looking at it, is definitely worrying and not a great experience trying to get information.

@Optus I had no service again for over an hour last night and you've closed my issue without resolving it again. I tried to call your NBN support line to speak to someone, but after being on hold for an hour, I was told "sorry, we close at 8pm" and was hung up on. It's 6:40PM.

3...I asked if I could call him back and he gave me the real 1800 NBN Tower number address in Melb., which made me think that he really was legit. So, I call the Tech help line for Aussie Broadband. She told me NBN would never contact a customer direct...4
