It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

@NBN_Australia Another NBN outage in our area last (Tueday) night which was super disruptive to the family. Outage was confirmed on NBN website. NBN should pay penalties especially because there is no information provided on outage cause. Restoration time estimate is poor

@QuentinDempster I moved house twice during the NBN rollout, which meant I got to experience pre and post NBN in three different suburbs. All three were slower and more expensive after the switch to NBN. Work zoom inconsistently worked; v hard when locked down. Now on 4g broadband and happy.

@QuentinDempster @NBN_Australia laid some fibre in the street and ruined our copper connection, then just left. It took more than a week of phone calls, and TIO complaints to get someone to fix it. And by fix it I mean someone did one thing and said someone else would need to come out X4 visits.

Communications Minister @PaulFletcherMP says when pandemic hit 98% of Australians were able to connect to NBN broadband. He damns @MRowlandMP ALP current NBN fibre to the premises policy as undeliverable. Digital economy infrastructure should be a major election issue.
