    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @gav_mck I ran into that with my uncle in Maleny. The crowding for Starlink meant no space. He has it now (waited in que like every1) but its why NBN are pushing their service to market asap with Amazon leo. At least you have options!!

    @tzk1810 Idiots in the comments flexing their 500mbs not realising that this is FTTN which was a half-assed non solution to the NBN. If we went with the original plan we’d all be on gigabit fibre by now

    Australia has free fibre internet. Nobody needs high latency satellite garbage in fibre areas. Being inflicted with Kband wireless radiation that could well be CIA subliminal messaging mind control signals like mobile is. Overbuilding NBN fibre should be prevented and ridiculous.

    @Marilynrules1 @stevehearne7 @arbsmichael The competition is basically at retail level and thanks to the nbn there's actually been an upgrade to the fixed line network so there's better service. Significant speed improvement and slight price increase.

    @WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

    @Kate3015 We Also built TPG & Vodafone's networks, however, my point was really Albanese raced up to Singapore begging for oil, Optus is owned by the Singapore Govt. They will not be pleased. And for the record, we built the very first NBN site at Kiama, I met several times with Conroy, he is a fool. We walked away, I said let everyone else beg for this, we will pick up all their other business while they are ******* with NBN, Conroy had no idea of the concept of Fibre, nor did his management, they were all Guys I had worked with at Sun Microsystems, not one had ever built a network. Conroy went against advice & lost $800 million on a Satellite project, the Indonesians grabbed the flight space.

    @Telstra Your customer service team are disgusting. They mixed up NBN and Optimcomm and not one person answered a single question I asked. Absolutely disgusting. I want to raise a formal complaint.
