    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @AlanBixter Why, we spent a fortune on the NBN, just go to the countries news service and watch it there.

    @twensor @FetchStep sadly its totally on form for telstra. remember when a small fire in their chatswood building took out the national SMS network. where i live telstra, nbn, optus and vodafone are all on a 4 hour battery backup, while essential energy schedules regular 8 hour outages.

    The exisiting tech support could be retained within the NMN preserving that knowledge base and the mobile networks could be better enmeshed with the NBN. Coverage could be better managed.

    @ausnuc_ian It was a Press release waiting for a business case that never eventuated. That's how the LNP operated. Don't get me started on the NBN catostrophe. Another example of the great economic managers.

    @WhosFibbing Serious outages occurred under the LNP, including failures that blocked Triple Zero, crippled mobile networks, and shut down parts of the NBN. Some were longer, larger, or more dangerous than the recent Telstra event. So please do carry on.
