    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @AGLEnergy internet has been down for 14+ hours. HFC NBN, hard-wired setup, two known-working routers tested, cables changed, NBN box reset. Router sends PPPoE PADI but gets no PADO, so this is failing before login/auth. Please stop looping basic Wi-Fi scripts and escalate to NBN

    Australia has free fibre internet. Nobody needs high latency satellite garbage in fibre areas. Being inflicted with Kband wireless radiation that could well be CIA subliminal messaging mind control signals like mobile is. Overbuilding NBN fibre should be prevented and ridiculous.

    @Starlink Update: customer care sent me the kit via express post and gave $25 credit. Installation went ahead smoothly as per schedule and very happy so far. No more crap NBN that Telstra put up their prices to $115 per month for 50mbps but my Starlink gives me 100mbps for $75 per month

    Black friends I served with in the military told me to watch out for *******. Being from Idaho I said it was a derogatory term for them wasn’t it? No, ******* are violent, irresponsible, parasites causing all the problems, stay away from them. One of them, Levi, always said NBN, ******* be ******* when there was trouble. I just listed to a couple of black females just as tired as the rest of us but threatening to orhanize against them.

    @AtomicEconomics So the Abbott, Turnbull and Morrison governments were all completely helpless and none of the debt was their fault? Even though they completely redesigned the NBN rollout? The NDIS is Labor’s fault even though it passed with the bipartisan support and was implemented by the LNP?

    @sharmilafaruqi Pakistan should seriously consider an expanded National Broadband Network (NBN) style rollout similar to Australia’s model. A nationally coordinated fiber backbone could reduce duplication, improve rural connectivity, lower long-term infrastructure costs, and ensure faster, more equal internet access across the country.Private ISPs can still compete at the retail level, but broadband infrastructure itself should be treated as a long-term national strategic investment. At the same time, Starlink licensing should move quickly through the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. To capture the market, Starlink will likely introduce pricing that is affordable for ordinary people, especially in underserved and remote areas.

    @RennickGBR My issue with point 3 is that for the last 2 decades, there hasn’t been one federal project that was delivered on time and on budget, every single infrastructure built blew the budget completely. So it’s just more spending. Snowy hydro, NBN, inland rail, hunter frigate etc
