    It should be investigated and people charged. I have a Vietnamese friend on a work visa who worked for a telecommunications company and now NBN. He often works from 7am to 9pm and in his first job he climbed those towers, often works weekends but never gets paid overtime!

    @TopherField Our sports club is 12.5km from Darwin's CBD and there is no NBN provisioning and the available wireless is dogshit. So yeah, Starlink it is and things have never been better.

    @TTAlwaysWins I’m pretty sure our issue is water ingress in the pits. When it rains it stops working. The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasn’t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.

    @ellymelly Never, as a former employee of NBN, I had proposed a non terrestrial backup service but they flatly refused to consider updating their satellite communications, and now we are digitally vulnerable.

    @NBN_Australia You had techs working near my address and I now have no NBN connection. Call has been logged with my ISP but to disconnect a connection like this shows poor workmanship in your technicians. This is unacceptable.

    @Starlink Hi, I received the Starlink kit today. I thought the installation would be easy, but I found it difficult. I have decided to keep my NBN service instead, so I would like to cancel my Starlink service and return the kit. Please let me know the return process. Thank you.

    @TopherField I cancelled my NBN service after the council changed my address, and updating the NBN details proved too difficult. The address mismatch caused constant disconnections. I’ve since switched to wireless internet. Won't go back to NBN

    @aaronsmith @jommy_tee To my mind this is decision is less technically competent as choosing to go for a copper NBN rather than fibre As believable a solution as carbon capture and storage

    @ChrisEconomist 2/2 The true scale of the off-budget disaster will only be clear when someone aggregates the retained losses across all these investments, as companies do in their financial statements. I've never seen this done, but if the NBN is any guide, the total would be staggering.

    If governments are serious about letting people work from home, they really need to ensure that the NBN is up to standard. Currently experiencing our 2nd major outage in 2 weeks. Not good enough @NBN_Australia #nswpol #auspol

    @theheraldsun NBN was Kevin Rubb’s idea to please the unions. Malcolm tried to fix but failed miserably. It is a great example that the government should not be involved in everything. Just leave it to follow a natural course
