I have been receiving gov updates via my mobile phone provider not the ABC at all. All commercial broadcasters ate required to provide community service announcements. Their is no longer a need for the ABC.

Scott n Co would never do such a thing. Tasmania, ACT and NT are not part of this initiative, there words to be said over this which would attract a "disappearance"

Grab the terminals and slide them off - and they never beep again! Every place we have been in with NBN has had its battery tossed.

You could also simplify it and include a UNI-V like port for a voice service (VoDSL) and a simple diagnostic page to indicate line sync etc. @NBN_Australia need to consolidate the end point to simplify it
