What the hell is going on with @optus NBN. I'm paying for 100mbps and getting from 29kbps up to a "massive" 940kbps. This sucks!

@TelstraEnt But you do need a network that works, provides value for $$$, and a business that has great service and it's not the NBN or Telstra
-
Julien Goodwin (@LapTop006) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@developerjack Ugh, I had similar with the old POTS Telstra phone, was meant to be cancelled when service got migrated to NBN, figured it out a few months later.

Phillip Leeds (@prleeds) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

trebase (@_rebase) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Bagimson @dailytelegraph @SheradynNews nah, I got charged $600 bucks to make my home NBN ready. Told the builder I didn’t want it. Too bad, no choice. You can bet it’s going to happen.

💧Veritas (@jarro56) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@TaodeHaas @SenatorFifield Further to @SenatorFifield reply to the #LNP adulteration of the #NBN was that 'it was purpose built to suit the needs'.. meaning to justify to absolute ruination of a major communications infrastructure to third world unreliable slow speeds is that Australians only download porn

James Gardiner (@JLSGardiner) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@TPG_Telecom Can you please coordinate with NBN and fix the service on Brighton Boulevard in Bondi. This is the 5th serious outage this year which is causing material economic damage to my business. Neighbours paying for your service are also having the same issues. Thank you

TonyB (@TonyB_Melb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@emlafudd @Kynes3 @jmil400 I was in the #QandA audience last Monday. I submitted a question on the NBN to ask Bill. My question was shortlisted but I never got to ask it. Most of the show was taken up with Tax questions. Personally, I think the #NBN is of vital importance to Australia.

💧John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Jackobsen @mrmintslice Yep, and now we just need Telstra to make some smart costing decisions with its 5G network and the NBN will be bankrupted and gone forever. Along with the wasted $51 Billion.
-
Anne Cox (@AnneCox7) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@smh At least they will get 5G. NBN is a bad joke on all of us.
-
David (@4Qpolies) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
NBN. No Bl**dy Network. Billions wasted on Murdoch’s instructions and Turnbull/LNP/IPA approval. #NBN #auspol #IPA #LNP

🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@nevso Should sink them....but then what's the cost to Australian taxpayers to fix the LNP thrashing of the NBN

David Morgan (@Elitism) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Currently dealing with: - NBN outage - Motherboard of wife's laptop stuffed - Daughter's laptop stuck in startup loop - Washing machine won't load hot water - Part of back plate of phone fell off, now missing

💧Ronnie Salted Centrist (@Auscentrist) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Drag0nista Like shit on a shoe, sometimes you just gotta find a bin and pretend it didn't happen. NBN: no accident it was in #cookvotes #scumo will not resist the temptation to moralise the shit out of it..
-
James Carlton (@jasta07) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@ShaneBryan_IT @MikeCarlton01 @NBN_Australia I'm getting 0.5 mb/s. I'll ******* take 50 no problem.
-
Podrico (@PodricoVargas) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@adamscrabble Like how Telstra slows down everyone’s internet in Australia until they join the the NBN. It’s complete horseshit mate!
-
jg (@buszwack) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@spartytalkback @billshortenmp they won’t. Might even fix tafe, nbn, ndis and the deficit which the lnp have doubled 😉
-
💧GayCarBoys (@GayCarBoys) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@goforgold80s Agreed. Sadly, it didn’t work. I’d have simply repeated LNP doubled the debt and buggered the NBN. We will fix what they ruined.
-
💧Mark Dickenson #Watergate I smell a rat! (@bugwannostra) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
I can't imagine running for parliament with a goal of destroying things that cost this nation billions of dollars. That is exactly what the Abbott, Turnbull, Morrison governments have done. They destroyed the NBN project, stopping FTTP for FTTC. Slow unreliable internet. #auspol
-
Elias Hallaj (@Elias_Hallaj) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Which is why the copper-based #fraudband which the ATM LNP govt negligently imposed on Australia will hold it back for years. Labor will fix the ATM LNP #NBN mess but it will take a while & we may miss out on job/education/health/research opportunities #AusVotes #AusPol

Powell's Other Glasses (Ausnotes) 🌸 (@ausnotes) reported
@bowtiedstocks It's so insane. The problem is they doubled down on NBN Sky muster and had entered into a crappy contract with Viasat when they should have just used Starlink like AirNZ and Etihad.
-
Aks Walia (@axolotlw23) reported
@ItsDoonby The secret ministries thing, ev scaremongering and weird god sent me here energy just can’t let me put him at top. abbot was evil but got the libs elected and ran an excellent opposition. Turnbull’s nbn **** up hurt Australia more than most know.

When NBN came to install, they found conduit is blocked somewhere between builders and pit and they asked me to fix the blockage or create a new conduit with the help of external worker where I need to pay from my pocket. Is this how this works?
-
VISION 🇦🇺 (@Vision_iii) reported
How will land costs halve when council contributions to subdivide more land have more than doubled? Cost of Civil infrastructure (roads, sewer, water, electricity, NBN) needed to service the land are up 40% and the time we gotta wait to attain approvals are 4x what they were not long ago.

@BarbaraPocock Building 50000 houses is a rather strange promise, especially sinc no one has checked the impact on the environmental issues of the area nor the population impact or services needed, gas, elec, sewage, water, phone, nbn mentioning just a few. And thats just one of Albos promises
