@Telstra Automated answer and on hold. Just called back on another phone and answered straight away. Go figure (but problem not fixed). I had such a great internet experience before being moved to NBN!

@myknittingwool @Auspol So many. Even my own mobile Optus network module for when the NBN crashes. These adds even overide the mute. I'm pretty sure its Google selling ad space.

Just checked @NBN_Australia has gone from July 2019 to Jan 2020 in my street. I have made the decision to go totally wireless as ADSL has also slowed to a crawl. I'll be showing you how I manage my internal wireless network with more wireless. Thanks for nothing NBN clowns.

@Telstra It’s FTTP. The Gen 2 modem has been rebooted. The tests have been run. All that’s happened is an NBN tech has been booked who is going to look at the NTD and say it’s fine. Fibre doesn’t develop an issue for certain hours of the day.

Also before they moved out their home internet had suddenly moved to Vodafone NBN but their iiNet account still showed usage up until the people at the new house turned off the modem. Sounds like a churn was done but iiNet support claims that is impossible

@CynicalAU @Optus @TPG_Telecom Don’t do it @TPG_Telecom are terrible. At present we haven’t had email access for almost 3 days and they seem in no rush to rectify the issue. Also my NBN installation was an experience I’d prefer to forget. 15 missed appointments and sub-standard speeds

@fictillius The way around it is to put a small switch between the NBN Modem and the ISP router. Use their router purely for voice and a second router of your choice for data. It seems 2x devices can sign in with same credentials so will be testing that out.

iiNet support wasn’t interested in the fact they had iiNet NBN 50 and suddenly they had Vodafone NBN 100 running at their house. Just say it’s impossible.

@AUSFestivus @Telstra I had to take my mobile to Vodafone a few weeks ago because of Telstra congestion issues in the CBD. I’m trying to give them a chance here because the NBN with them has been great with no peak congestion for 3 years until last week. But Vodafone NBN is looking good right now.

@TPG_Telecom no NBN, no answer on your phone since 10am, logged a ticket on your app, no response. Sent message on messenger got a response asking for phone number but no call. Very disappointed, been without NBN for nearly 24hrs! Customer service is unacceptable!

@Juhi_Gupta_JPN @NBN_Australia understandable there are occasional problems, esp after a serious storm or flooding, for instance. hwv, while it has rained here the last few days it hasn't been particularly heavy, and three outages in six weeks (the previous two were weekdays and lasted hours) is not great

@ShaunRatcliff @NBN_Australia Very much in the same boat as OP. Internet is the backbone of our economy that is struggling to its feet slowly. This might be the perfect time to learn how to prevent potential issues before they eventualise or at the very least resolve them quickly when they do.

third time @NBN_Australia has been out here in less than six weeks. Considering most of the people who work or run businesses around here rely on the internet for their livelihoods, that's a pretty poor performance
