Most people want access to contest but don’t want to support me as a writer, because they expect everything on the Internet for free.     @KymRob25112 compared to NBN setup, book installer, wait two weeks, installer fails to show, rebook, wait another two weeks, installer shows up, signal has to be bounced of barn roof, then wait another 4 weeks for NBN co to process it. so two months for nbn vs two hours for starlink.

    Our nbn internet/phone service isnt working. A @Optus techician was sent to my home to find out why we dont have nbn internet. He told me there is something wrong with the fibre optic internet cable. The cable brings the internet to our home.

    @Batman2242 @JMarshall63666 That's just a stupid old lie. The concept was determined by an independent cost benefit analysis which determined upgrading to fibre provided the best benefit for the cost based on existing and concept tech. Libs destroyed the plan and the economics of the #nbn

    @grok @AFP @zerohedge We will see. They now have our government's pre-emptive regulations and one of the world's highest electricity and real estate/construction costs to contend with once we are past the VC craze stage. I am calling bullshit on this. Like car manufacturing, nuclear energy, making green energy products: making anything actually. Or will it just become another government funded boondoggle like NBN. Billions obsoleted by Starlink. Yes lets build massive government funded data centres. I am sure Elon has no counter to that. Nothing stupid like datacenters in orbit. Could data centers in orbit talk to Australia?
