Most people want access to contest but don’t want to support me as a writer, because they expect everything on the Internet for free. They don’t realise writers have bills to pay, including @NBN_Australia!

  @ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder The NBN cannot do it now, but the optic fibres it uses can. Only the gear at either end changes. There is not a wireless system in existence that could carry the existing load of the NBN, let alone future needs. Talk to a network engineer, please.

  @TopherField I've been a happy Starlink customer for years, because the NBN was unable to get reliable internet to my house. Each month Elon gets my money, and I get reliable high speed internet. Each month, we are both better off.

  @NBN_Australia Nobody seems able to answer a simple question. 80 Fig St, Pyrmont NSW 2009 has a network fault. I've tried 3 ISPs and keep getting passed around. Is NBN aware of the issue, and when will it be fixed? Three weeks without an internet connection...

  @xShephardx Being a nerd here in Aus is like top 10 most emotionally excruciating experiences since my internet used to be 3 mb/s, which is actually a lie since my ISP throttled it down to 950kb/s. Thank **** for NBN since it's now like 62mb/s but gigabit internet would have me heavenbound.

  @Ozzytourer The only thing that Labor has done that has worked if fixing the ******* mess they made with the NBN but in typical Labor fashion they want the internet to be censored because of "protecting kids" Well at least there's now an entire generation that'll never vote for the *****.

  Australia has free fibre internet. Nobody needs high latency satellite garbage in fibre areas. Being inflicted with Kband wireless radiation that could well be CIA subliminal messaging mind control signals like mobile is. Overbuilding NBN fibre should be prevented and ridiculous.

  I woke up to find my Internet is down. I'm typing this via an unusably slow emergency backup mobile access function. I hope my fibre connectivity comes back up soon. The problem is with either my ISP(RSP), or the #NBN, more likely the former.

  @DrewPavlou Australia's internet is **** because Tony Abbott deliberately sabotaged the NBN by making it fibre to the node. Rupert Murdoch was worried that streaming services would eat into his pay TV profits, so he had all his news orgs back Abbott. They even announced it at Fox Studios.
