I’ve forgotten what working without cabled NBN is like. With everything in the cloud and software as a service this is a nightmare. #auspol

@DaisyCousens @clementine_ford I’m using it too but not earning enough to give up my day job ... yet! Most people want access to contest but don’t want to support me as a writer, because they expect everything on the Internet for free. They don’t realise writers have bills to pay, including @NBN_Australia!

…ideas that gave us our string and tin can broadband. And notice the response to the energy crisis is going the same way, towards ‘protecting the vulnerable’. It’ll fail in the same way that’s failed for Covid, and for the NBN. The public is not a majority OR a minority. /6

A ping speed, or the time it takes for a signal to get to the satellite and back again, is generally about 32 milliseconds But Mr Thompson was finding it was about 700 milliseconds on the NBN service

Update to the whole NBN location - Turns out the it's has an embedded network for everything. Makes things easy, but also, you get pretty limited choices for everything which is annoying

@stealth_pony Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry to hear you are currently experiencing network issues. So I get a better understanding to be able to assist you, are you able to confirm if this fault is related to your NBN or mobile broadband service? -Tigs

@TurnbullMalcolm @MrKRudd Agreed and so glad to hear you say this after you stymied his appointment to the UN. That was poor form as was the cheap nbn. I respected you, was appalled when you were rolled by Abbott, but disappointed by these instances.
