@brandybongos Intermittent dropouts are difficult to troubleshoot and fault, just due to their nature; we need as much information about the connection as possible, so we can take it to NBN for further action. Please send us a DM with your details and we'll jump in to help. - Leo

It's horrible when your internet suddenly goes down. No outages reported by the NBN or Telstra but I know there has to be one. Went around checking my WiFi extenders, then checked on the Telstra modem, it's led was green, it was saying it was online but no internet.

@DaveMilbo I did the same. When I finally had no option but to switch to NBN, they made it as difficult as possible. Sent the wrong modem, cut off my ADSL connection before the correct modem arrived. Hours wasted on phone support. Net result: barely any difference in internet speeds.

I shut the modem down and started it up again and there was no change, then I restarted it and again no change, I did a factory reset and again no change, then I disconected the NBN box from the backup battery, then pluged in the WAN cable and plugged the battery back in...

@TheKouk Just like when Abbot said $550 off your power bills - never arrived. Or the time he said NBN MTM done by 2016 for $29.5 billion lols is 2021 & still not done, costing $56 billion and growing

@DaveMilbo I'm in the same situation. Except I'm jealous of the speeds you hit - I never manage to hit those! Think I've got until the end of this year to switch to the NBN, because the suburb only got hooked up a few months back. Gonna wait it out & see if 5G wireless coverage improves.

@DaveMilbo Mine is shocking an average 20Mbps or less and uploads that aren't even worth measuring. The worst part even with their "speed" guarantee @NBN_Australia refuses to do anything unless I pay for it.

@DaveMilbo Rural Vic. Still on ADSL2+ stable 3 - 14 mpbs. No line of sight to local tower. Fixed wireless only NBN available. Trying to ignore the issue, no phone calls, no letters so far. House on 5 acres great for pony loving kids likely an out & out disaster for work from home or gamers.

@drajm A monumentally shortsighted, bad decision. This is like Abbott’s NBN call in 2013 but instead of inconveniencing our WIFI bandwidth, it’s risking peoples lives.
