@DoctorKarl Damn straight. We’re 20 years behind with the NBN. We could have been world leaders yet now I think we’re out of the top 20 in terms of speed.

NBN. Meant to enhance productivity. Meant to be nation building. Great idea - terrible implementation. Instead we have a second rate system - slow and unreliable #fibretothehome #shameLNP.

@DifficultNerd @stnapAtnaf Sadly not the case. NBN have confirmed with me that we will never get 50 Mbps due to the distance we are away from the first node. They also didn’t replace the aging copper on the main street and line faults is a regular thing to happen.

@MeckeringBoy Been saying this along with many engineers for years, but still this toxic LNP Government persues this bag of shit NBN, as last count we were 62nd.....it's overpriced, underperforming & going to cost $bn's to fix........thanks LNP Government

@shara_evans @NBN_Australia Indeed. I guess that's what you get when there's no meaningful SLG. At least it's not as bad as the incredibly useless guidelines on fixed wireless tower congestion.

@albericie @OzCaroin But that was the anti NBN wackos 🤡speaking to support Murdoch's trash bags, most of us, thought differently & look @ the total mess & mishmash we have 🤔😉😉

@EVTimOZ Perhaps yours is not the best analogy. I have a sub rate FTTN @NBN_Australia service and I don't get a discount for having 480 vids instead of 4K. On the other hand, I'd happily accept financial compensation for changing my energy usage patterns a.k.a demand response.

With NBN fixed wireless in meltdown (over-subscribed & at capacity), + our mobile blackspot, I finally paid the $1150 for a signal repeater for the house. Non-existent upload speeds this week was the final straw. Mobile download much better, upload a bit better. #nbn #dubbo
