About to complete the second full day without internet and folks I am simply asking if the NBN have the right dates for maintenance to the ISP or if they're simply unable to provide a service.

Just received a call from "02 3800 4035" in Bowral, NSW. Telling me that my NBN service is causing issues on the network. The lady politely asked me to put the call on speaker, so that I could look up the error. When I asked if she wanted the call on speaker and said "Yes, yes".

Even despite having spent the whole day binging a show on my hard drive, having to go through this whole day with the bare minimum of Wi-Fi available on my phone makes me feel guilty and ashamed about how important it is to my life (also, **** the NBN).

My wife has just told me a purported @NBN_Australia person has contacted her and asked her to disconnect our NBN service[reboot?] The NBN [isp service is not in her name, an isp anomaly] the number displayed on her phone 0438 000 000 hung up when asked for call back number.

Anyway NBN is crap. 2-5megabit per second on a 20-50mbps connection. You get faster 10megabit on 3g and 4g before getting hundreds in speed on 5g. Some places only give fibre to the node while others get fttc or fftb or wireless, now their saying satellite is faster.

Hey Jim Chalmers, what if it's not a productivity problem, but a management problem. I see way too many incompetent managers, toxic workplaces and under-skilled staff Along with chronic under-investment in IT systems and a dysfunctional NBN - try addressing that lot

@Connundrum54 If you think that, you don't understand the technologies involved. The 5G network would slow to a crawl with only a fraction of the load the NBN carries.
