@NBN_Australia You might want to encourage all of your downstream providers to use a password/phrase to identify themselves when calling though. Simple to set up and would negate these calls pretty damn quick

@Amy03685808 Yeah just off eBay. Took a couple of weeks to arrive. Just did a sped test without it and not much difference. Maybe direct to NBN will help? Any slight advantage is good when we have a few things against us here.

@superloopnet Thanks Matt. have been on a chat with support, looks like it's still an issue with the NBN. They have finally updated their status to show there are service interruptions. Appreciate your responses. @NBN_Australia sort it out please, this has been going on for 5 days now.

Of course the irony is that the signal here is so appalling @Telstra that they might have been ringing every single day for hours and they couldn’t get through. My ISP put me on call back but I haven’t heard from them either. NBN & Telstra a perfect LNP combination mutant…

@AusCommenter @davidbewart @Barnaby_Joyce This hilights another issue apart from the rort. They probably do need fibre to the business. Like we all needed Labor's fibre to the home NBN. We all got dudded by the Libs and now we have to pay through the nose so their donors can get decent internet.

@reubenfarrelly @NBN_Australia Reminds me of my reporting broken and exposed copper cabling. NBN and Telstra pointed the finger at each other for weeks. I wonder if it'd get fixed faster if you simply went in and ripped things to bits - but of course, you can't do that...

@Optus In the past hour and a half, as requested, I’ve followed your instructions and “power cycled” my Optus NBN modem multiple times. But the connection remains incredibly slow (<< 1Mbps) and intermittent (very frequent dropouts, every few seconds or so). So what next?

@NBN_Australia @sqljohn So just deploy the same gearbut hardened against storms, why not just bite the bullet and upgrade it to fttp saving the hassle of doubling up the work down the road (pun intended)!
