Minimal information for continued internet outage whilst in lockdown and working from home. Disappointed to say the least. @Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia

TIL that @NBN_Australia knows how to put people to work. Have had two people ring me about an appointment, except they only ask when I am available, then pass that on to someone else to ring me and confirm. WTF?

They are sending the NBN out within a few days to check my slow sync speeds - have I slipped into fantasy land?

@ScottRhodie In essence, satellite NBN is a 3rd rate product (slow) delivered by 4th rate tech (inadequate infrastructure) to the communities least able to complain or do anything. I've no desire to line Musk's pockets further, but I will get Starlink as soon as I'm able.

And what's the issue, you ask? Simple: @Optus thought by now I'd have moved to the @NBN_Australia and just disconnected my cable. No warning; just *click*, it's off. (4/5)

@umisef Hi Umisef, we are sorry to hear you're having issues with your service. You'll need to raise this with your provider, as they manage your services. They have an internal nbn support team they can request assistance from on your behalf, if required. 1/2

@Telstra After my initial contact I churned my NBN even though I was only toying with the idea, and now I just want to take all my products elsewhere - if this is the new standard of Telstra customer support.
