Hey all won't be able to stream tonight our NBN isn't running at full speed and contacted our internet provider, which they have informed us that NBN Co is reasonable for the extreme slow network. Currently waiting to get this resolved, but really can't do anything on our end

@Telstra I know that the cable fixed line network will be disabled in future for the NBN - but not yet in this area. I just don’t wish to switch at this time & couldn’t get a clear answer.

@islejoseph @verge @NBN_Australia Government(s) + ISPs need to invest in infrastructure together & build upon fibre optic backhauls (backbone) nationwide to create 'National Broadband Network' for any ISP/RSP to connect premises; otherwise, everyone will be locked to only using specific ISP(s) in their area (2/2)

@ShropshireMatt @bernoid @SebHaggett I've never seen them there although I am aware of them. I've just checked the NBN Atlas and there are no records of them there. Although these databases are not complete.

What is it like in countries with reliable internet, instead of the pile of crap @NBN_Australia with 24h outages every 2 months that we wasted our taxes on? Genuinely curious
