NBN Issues Reports Near Warnervale, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Warnervale and nearby locations:

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It is not a fault. It is a NBN design issue. If a house is 1.2km in cable length from a Node, can they expect 80mb or more in connection speed. Very simple yes/no answer is all that is required.

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Cummins7Robert @SBSNews @ScottMorrisonMP The LNP is just being the attack dog controllers for Murdoch. Murdoch and his father were and still are hell bent on killing off the ABC and anyone not on their payroll. Look who is pulling the strings. The LNP did similar shit for FOXTEL by stuffing the NBN to make Netflix bad.

  • DrCraigGedye Craig Gedye (@DrCraigGedye) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Internode once again our @NBN_Australia connection is out because it has rained. Please fix the physical connection to our house. It is NOT a problem in our house. It is a problem with your ancient corroded copper network. Please repair immediately.

  • gjblue Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@JaneCaro @Telstra The whole nbn is a joke, mate who works for them told me ours will never be any good because the copper goes thru a flooded pit at the end of our street.

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Been a glorious 3 days with the NBN down. Apparently Telstra are going to actually show up today. It’s been kind of nice tbh.

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It’s directly related to the ‘fibre to the node’ loading, that can’t be fixed. Nor can the crap quality of the telephone lines in this area be totally replaced easily.

  • commiexcx Ray 🐑 (@commiexcx) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Big **** off to telstra for somehow making my first gen nbn (fibre to the house baby!) slow as all hell

  • mkentwell Bigots be gone (@mkentwell) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@RavnilRanjay @ScottMorrisonMP There is a projected possible potential surplus... And then only if all the unicorns fat at the same time. This is a surplus like the NBN was a solution #fraudband #fraudsurplus

  • shootin4love Liam O'Neill (@shootin4love) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Vic_Rollison Gees, we probably still wouldn't have an ETS by now, a 2nd rate NBN and a system which favours the rich and blames the poor and unemployed for wearing those ugly old Vinnie's clothes. Wait a minute

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@exetel @chuggins9000 @NBN_Australia Thanks Rehan, but it is not an Exetel problem, all my neighbours have the same problem. NBN Co decided not to deluver high speed internet infrastucture to our Adamstown Heights area.

  • Beer_Baron88 Dr Matt (@Beer_Baron88) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Scamwatch_gov @nswpolice I don't care if they scam me, just get my damn NBN hooked up

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Almost 2 hours got get Telstra Big Pond wombles to reset the NBN password. And I know what I’m talking about ... good luck if youre not network savvy. No I don’t want to use your shitty router, I want to use my good one

  • ian_booth Ian Booth (@ian_booth) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Farrrrrrkk! When Fifield is questioned about the price of #NBN packages the best he can come up with is "they would cost more under Labor". It just rolls off their tongue so easily. "Take longer under Labor ", "cost more under Labor" and they're never questioned. Shits me.

  • bigtruth2 hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra another day goes by and still not resolved......June 26 and no NBN. Entirely Telstra problem when by mistake they put “restrictions “ on the account but it takes forever to lift them. BTW was in credit when restrictions where wrongly imposed

  • jasondrennan71 Jason Drennan (@jasondrennan71) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra why is @NBN_Australia so slow tonight at 2.75kbs. Woeful. Two hours and still can’t download a movie that runs for same time.

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@alexwantscoffee @NBN_Australia Exactly my thoughts. And no amount of help from the service provider is going to change the amount of users on the node, or as you say, magically turn the copper lines to fibre optic.

  • bigtruth2 hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra are just plain hopeless. Have been trying since May to fix a Telstra “error”....up to call 46 and each time assured it is fixed. Even have emails saying fixed but still NBN speed 0.002!!! World class!!

  • debra_mcgrath Debra McGrath (@debra_mcgrath) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@heatherewart1 @SwannyQLD @abc730 YES the NBN is my weather gage, whenever it's going to rain the NBN goes down

  • wifidownunder Aaron Scott (@wifidownunder) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Another 12hr outage from @telstra NBN. This is ridiculous. Maybe at some point I’ll have internet again.

  • bigtruth2 hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Got this message today “Hi, you recently contacted us about the Internet issue on your NBN Service. We believe this is now fixed” Guess what....STILL NOT WORKING!!! #australiasworst company

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • David91504478 David (@David91504478) reported

@Poupon123 Doubled the spend on the NBN. Tripled the debt. Third pm in 8 years providing unstable gov. Nothing achieved in 8 years. They have to go down as the worst gov in history.

  • BenDroste Ben Droste 🎮 (@BenDroste) reported

@SanatanaMishra Ah, I'm on FTTB now and get about the same 20 up with TPG for $60pm. I never had anything similar pre-nbn to compare it to though, so it's a massive step up from ADSL2+ for me.

  • Gunsinaustralia President -GIA 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇯🇵🇮🇳 🇳🇿 🇨🇦 (@Gunsinaustralia) reported

@newscomauHQ In principle I support this. But $6 million funding? Sounds like another grossly underfunded NBN... that's assuming the system actually works! The ALP have been habitually clueless at calculating the funding required to achieve their objectives.

  • marschoc Mario De Ionno (@marschoc) reported

@ItinerantCamel Should Caleb not know the NBN is crap under this govt being an IT consultant.

  • S_M_Bowman Scott Bowman (@S_M_Bowman) reported

@pbl1972 Need phone signal more than internet. NBN works good enough in that spot.

  • PoofnutsO Poofnuts_in_Oz (@PoofnutsO) reported

@MyRepublicAU 11. Customer is now totally dissatisfied with My Republic's total inaction and refusal to grant reasonable customer requests, customer requests disconnection from brand new NBN service that never worked. Agent said disconnections team will call, so no call any other way until....

  • David91504478 David (@David91504478) reported

@formallypedro They have been in for 8 years. Doubled the debt before covid. Did not supply stable gov and on their third PM Never got to surplus. NBN now double the cost of what they promised 8 years ago, now at 60 billion and growing and a pile of **** not worth the money spent.

  • scp4151 scp4151 (@scp4151) reported

@NBN_Australia Connection destablised again just keeping u updated. this not unusual activity it is just Australian telecommunications garbage infrastructure

  • LLeckey Lee leckey (@LLeckey) reported

@TPG_Telecom Get sent a message - your NBN service has been installed - guess what still NOT working.

  • GrahamDouglasMe Graham Douglas-Meyer (@GrahamDouglasMe) reported

@eDilettante @OmarjSakr Um, these are the same guys that gave us the watered down NBN. You’re pushing your luck if you think that they want to provide cyber security when they don’t spend enough on their own systems that are regularly hacked. I certainly wouldn’t want Dutton to have that power.
