  • CadmanMachinery CadMac (@CadmanMachinery) reported from Wodonga, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @NBNCoLimited Incredibly poor support from the National Broadband Network. We are now facing 3 with no connectivity and our business is mere meters from the Melb-Syd fibre. #help #customersareeverything

  • jhinch Jason H (@jhinch) reported from Wodonga, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia It's stated on your website that it should be phased out after 18 months. It's been 4 years. My provider told me to contact NBN for some answers as NBN is the one who increases the speed at the node, not them. Can you seriously not help at all with this?

  • EricKerrforIndi Eric Kerr (@EricKerrforIndi) reported from Wodonga, State of Victoria

@Jansant @DylanWalkden @HelenHaines1 @Kynes3 @zalisteggall @drkerrynphelps @MakeMayoMatter @juliabanksmp NBN needed to run further & truly could have been Australia's biggest and best infrastructure project. The longer Government's hold off on building it properly, to it's maximum potential, the further behind we slip as tech advances. Ambitious policy gets cut down far too often

@DaveMilbo I had to do the Same, the NBN is crap. Half the speed at twice the price. Malcolm and Big ears bent us over without lube.

  • rainey_archer rainey archer (@rainey_archer) reported

@DaveMilbo I don't have amazing internet, but when I need speed, I switch over to mobile tethering. I'm being forced to change to NBN too, very grudgingly, because there's no comparable mobile broadband service. I've lived in developing countries with better options.

  • CCakmc 💧💙C A K M Cheung (@CCakmc) reported

@DaveMilbo NBN is definitely worse and if you try to get technical help it’s only over the phone or online. Been trying to get a technician to the house since November. Telstra/ NBN still refusing.

  • GardinerRob Rob Gardiner 🐯🏆🏆🏆 (@GardinerRob) reported

@TurnbullMalcolm How are you going to fix @NBN_Australia after bowing to #Murdoch. I can’t get fixed line @NBN_Australia living 55km from Australia’s 2nd largest city. Yet they can 400km away in regional Victoria. #NBNisajoke #nbnfail

  • MackenzieSteel Mackenzie Steel (@MackenzieSteel) reported

@DaveMilbo Good luck. It's just great when it goes down and they have no idea when it will be back. It also takes out my home phone. Somebody made a good deal on the NBN but it sure as hell wasn't for us.

  • HullKiwi ExHullKiwi (@HullKiwi) reported

@TweetingSteve My brother knocked his house down and built the new one 15 metres to the left. Literally the hardest part of the entire process was moving the nbn service. I told him he should have just got an ethernet cable.

  • cadickason64 Caroline Dickason (@cadickason64) reported

@DaveMilbo Similar story here - we had super strong and reliable cable with Optus, and were forced to go with NBN, and have had regular dropouts and unreliable service ever since. Not happy, Jan.

  • JoeMcCarthy24 Joe McCarthy (@JoeMcCarthy24) reported

@DaveMilbo I'm in the same situation. Except I'm jealous of the speeds you hit - I never manage to hit those! Think I've got until the end of this year to switch to the NBN, because the suburb only got hooked up a few months back. Gonna wait it out & see if 5G wireless coverage improves.

  • dril9999 "Pickup artist Mike Engram" (@dril9999) reported

Just to make it absolutely clear - Labor have no problems with the sort of fibre optics used in the #NBN. Any problems with how they've handled #FrankingCredits accounts is outright lie.

  • AdamTrolloar Tentin Quarantino (@AdamTrolloar) reported

@DaveMilbo @ryanholm886 Telstra is not too bad, i got a backup modem to their mobile network so that when NBN is out, you can still get online. About every 2 months, if not more when that happens. Check if other ISP's do that too.
