  • alwriting Alan J Wright (@alwriting) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

It's not just gamers clogging up the NBN. We're all to blame really. By using the NBN, we are obviously ruining a brilliant system and preventing it from reaching its true potential. I can see that now. I feel awful...

  • millionsofmyles Myles Harris (@millionsofmyles) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Optus I’m getting daily dropouts with HFC NBN. The support team have been unhelpful. Concierge service is useless. I keep asking them to log a request with NBN but they keep giving excuses. On the one occasion a ticket was logged, they closed ticket immediately.

  • plunger007 PlungerVax (@plunger007) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Any suggestions for NBN provider in inner nth Melbourne? @Optus 5G is fast ... when it works. Which is less and less. I've wasted dozens of hours & $$$ on this **** service which was dodgy from beginning. Think the Nokia modem is the problem. But support is almost non existent

  • daveando Dave Anderson (@daveando) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra My NBN is with iinet but I was instructed to contact Telstra because it’s Telstra infrastructure. If I’m mistaken please let me know. I’m chatting to support right now and it seems we are getting close on getting some sort of answer :)

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AboutIndia My apartment building can't get the NBN even though our street has it. Cancelled the wired internet service a few months back because it was so slow and switched to Optus 5G broadband. Literally 2 blocks from 2 different 5G towers but modem just disconnects.

  • scottwright87 Scott Wright (@scottwright87) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

  • Sheeds_au Sheeds (@Sheeds_au) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Power is out. Wild weather in Melbourne. Happy I could get to my NAS for a proper shut-down on backup UPS power to save myself a 3 day volume rebuild/consistency check! Dream machine is still running but the NBN fibre connection box does not have a UPS backup on it...

  • glensarsero Glen (@glensarsero) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @NBN_Australia I’ve had 9 dropouts in 2hrs. My provider says they change things but still the same issues daily. Need this sorted. I’ve changed providers recently and the issue still persists. Can you help?

  • smoldemi Michael Smolders (@smoldemi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hi @Telstra my nbn connection dies temporarily again, and still my "smart" modem doesn't kick over to 4G as promised. Why does this keep happening? Remote service repair from last time still didn't fix it.

  • ScottAndNadia Scott and Nadia (@ScottAndNadia) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra we have been trying all day to talk to someone about connecting the nbn cable that is taped to the power pole at the front of house 🏡 to our actual house? I would suggest you overseas call centre needs training we have 4 hang ups and 3 x call the number we can’t help??

  • MarkP561 Mark T Perry (@MarkP561) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Nth Alphington 3078 absolute crap nbn 3.3 Mbps download! Is there a fault? Working from home very difficult ☺

  • SharpxxPlays SharpxxPlays (@SharpxxPlays) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

  • iambrendanlloyd Brendan Lloyd (@iambrendanlloyd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus hey hey, I'm in Brunswick West and have been having NBN drop outs for nearly a week now, terrible wifi speeds while sitting right next to the modem, one person can stream while the other struggles, I've restarted NBN box and router multiple times. What's up?!

  • spottedpelican Just Some CoverUps Random (@spottedpelican) reported

@drvyom @CraigKellyMP I would, but he blocked me when I continued to give him scientific studies on ineffectiveness of it. Or was it Ivermectin? Or his hypocrisy regarding voting for strongly against a better NBN for Aust, then pretending to be a champion for locals with issues? Maybe it was Zumbo?🤔

  • cliffreid Cliff Reid (@cliffreid) reported

@Aussie_BB @ketaminh Thanks - have made multiple calls over last 8 days. Repeatedly told nothing you can do it's the NBN. Have cancelled your service today and made myself not reliant on the NBN as this cannot happen again. Not your fault or mine so not willing to spend any more time on it.

  • da_evil_clown_6 da evil clown (@da_evil_clown_6) reported

@NBN_Australia you gronks are down right rude you don't let customers no when there Maintenance and I was on a conference call with a business client high profile and now I lost connection I'm driven around looking for the geonak to abuse them now I'll be in trouble

  • NecromancyBlack Necromancy Black (@NecromancyBlack) reported

Emergency NBN maintenance. In the middle of the work day. While I'm working from home. And my fiancee is trying to do an online exam. Good times, but please god make this fix my upload issues with twitch.

  • evilpassing 💔 (@evilpassing) reported

@NBN_Australia thank you for the support jacky my internet was back up when i woke up

  • blardyblah Tracie Winch (@blardyblah) reported

.@NBN_Australia So exactly when do you think the “unplanned outage in Northcote” will be fixed?

  • Lani__Irene Lani (@Lani__Irene) reported

Telstra is the worst ISP in Australia & cannot change my mind; had consistent dropouts over the last 2 months and they won't fix it since it is apparently a "NBN issue" since it's an issue with the area I live in 🙄

  • Mark18787662 Mark🌲🌏🌧️ (@Mark18787662) reported

@NBN_Australia What every you do do not change to TPG Australia, there customer service is hopeless. They ONLY want to take your money and thats that.

  • cliffreid Cliff Reid (@cliffreid) reported

Switched from wired home broadband by the national BB network to just a 4G set up. Cheaper, faster, and more reliable. #NBN has been down here for 8 days and still no fix. Shame - @Aussie_BB has had good customer service. Not their fault #NBN is crap. 5G will kill it.

  • arwanabe paul r (@arwanabe) reported

@smh I have (technical) friends who call TPG "the Indian network". Since HK has taken control, that may not be strictly true however they are still heavily reliant on Indian workers. Expect issues. Imagine if NBN had actually trained up AU workers ?
