  • djaw85 Dj (@djaw85) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@tomwoodau @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia Our next-door neighbour has @Telstra an has had no issues. It’s interesting that the cable/wire issue doesn’t seem to be affecting all providers atm - just @Optus... absolutely poor customer service also

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord Likely to be just Optus' fixed backhaul, no reports of an issue with Telstra I can find, and Optus mobile data working. @Optus please provide more details of this significant outage! (ping @NBN_Australia)

  • edzhao_com Ed Zhao (@edzhao_com) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@VodafoneAU terrible! Bought nbn in late April. Still no FTTC box after three weeks! After enduring hours of waiting on the phone, the kid could only say “it’s pending” then cut off! This is really quite ridiculous!

  • jasonehill Jason Edward Hill (@jasonehill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Another week another @NBN_Australia & @TPG_Telecom outage. Less than 5 days this time - shocking 🤬

  • andyjay_81 Andrea Jackson (@andyjay_81) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Cancel @NBN_Australia install through @Telstra (a story in itself) using the app to continue to see out our contract on ADSL but continue to get calls to book another install time. Try calling to resolve and they won’t take my call despite an email telling me to call 😡

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Askgerbil @DoctorKarl @TurnbullMalcolm Actually the original purchase of the Telstra cable network, was to remove and compensate Telstra as a network, and provide NBN with infrastructure for laying their cables

  • mikedoeslife Mike 🧼 (@mikedoeslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Life on @optus 4G home wireless. I get 20mbps down on a good day, but at any time, day or night, it can just drop out the butt like this. NBN available in my street from next month, but who knows if it’ll be any good... at least it’ll be FTTC, so that’s something.

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @PatFromKilsyth @3RRRFM @NBN_Australia Not my issues dude.

  • tomwoodau distant tom (@tomwoodau) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @djaw85 @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia @Telstra Yeah must be an Optus backhaul issue

  • 1electricdon 💧Don Smith 🐨 (@1electricdon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Sorry you still rely on an old copper network so will always struggle to provide what FTTP has the ability to do then you pass service issues back to RSP too many tiers for service to be effective

  • jasonehill Jason Edward Hill (@jasonehill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yep check this every day - never anything planned. Always an outage and then you have to investigate. Not good enough

  • samcurrie Sam Currie (@samcurrie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus once again no signal (NBN HFC) in Hampton 3181. The service the last couple of days has been horrendous

  • GuidoTresoldi Guido Tresoldi (@GuidoTresoldi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@hisaflog NBN and internet not working for me since Tuesday. Fortunately I got data. Can’t bother reporting it now.

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Biggest telecommunications company around and I can’t get to speak over the phone to a @Telstra about a @NBN_Australia connection... **** service!

  • raymond3020 Adam Gemmell (@raymond3020) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@optus NBN down. Can’t log on to my Optus account. Can’t find a phone number to call Optus to find out why no NBN. #fail

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Service delivery of @NBN_Australia is absolutely atrocious. Less than 12 hours notice of 'planned' maintenance on 12-May. Less than 5 minutes notice of 'planned' maintenance today. It really is a sub-par network which has Australia 20 years behind the rest of the world #fail

  • krysbethmoore Krystin Beth-Moore (@krysbethmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Dear @iiNet I couldn’t be happier to cancel my plan with you, after weeks of waiting and a day off of work taken so I could get my NBN connection set up, I find out that the connection is actually on short fall.

  • TullyFletcher Tully Fletcher (@TullyFletcher) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia your network is garbage. You’ve had outages in our part of Melbourne all day. You told our ISP it was fixed but it isn’t. Good thing there isn’t a global pandemic keeping us at home and entirely dependent on your service for our jobs and lives, or we’d be stuffed.

  • jasonehill Jason Edward Hill (@jasonehill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Another day another @TPG_Telecom & @NBN_Australia outage. Think they’re trying for a daily outage

  • Le_digital_frog Franck (@Le_digital_frog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Without @TPG_Telecom and @NBN_Australia connection for the past 48 hours now. No tech updates from NBN at all! Shocking customer experience #Prahran #NBN

  • raven_mcbovril Lemon Grab (@raven_mcbovril) reported

@PaulFletcherMP The audacity of this claim. You should be ashamed of yourself. Most of us remember exactly how things went down. It was an uphill battle for Labor, and they didn't actually start installing the NBN until 2011.

  • GobSmac57499765 GobSmacked (@GobSmac57499765) reported

@SenatorWong @marxdeane WTF did you say 1.5m ???? Where ******** is this NBN we have paid and paid and paid BILLIONS for????????? #OrganisedCrime #TheLNPWay #NBNRORTS

  • DaveMUnderwood 🕯️ Dave Underwood 💉💉 (@DaveMUnderwood) reported

@PaulFletcherMP You lot botched it. With the mixed technology "bolt on", you've added to the cost of the NBN. Also many folks are stuck with a "last mile of copper", that is badly degraded and in most cases reassembles a rat's nest due to poor maintainance under a mostly private Telstra.

  • Noisynanawarat1 Noisynana@waratah (@Noisynanawarat1) reported

@noplaceforsheep @gruntat How right you are @noplaceforsheep 😫😫😫. Wireless NBN , where I live is utter crap, especially at night. Perhaps if we didn‘t have to pay full price for occasional connection it might not be so infuriating . Go away with your rubbish,Fletcher

  • 137ry Ryan Allen (@137ry) reported

@AlboMP I signed up for Starlink because where I live doesn't have cable, the copper is stuffed, and our only option was LTE. I'm getting download speeds LITERALLY FROM SPACE that exceed the top tier NBN plans. As a taxpayer who relies on internet for an income I feel very let down.

  • pallisier MJ White (@pallisier) reported

@ADenehey Sadly for them, it is hard to find anyone who found NBN easy to work with and who thinks the service is worth the extra cost of it. They can spin but NBN a disaster.

  • Annette86972326 Seriously, Cut the Hype, Present the Facts #2 (@Annette86972326) reported

@PaulFletcherMP Puleaze your mob gave us and inferior nbn so ******* slow my character is dead before it even materialises in a ******* game. nbn cant handle too much traffic on the line either. streaming is absolutely ****** coz your mob couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery.

  • terryoates4 terry @ elcamino (@terryoates4) reported

@macsween_prue @AlboMP @AustralianLabor Labor instigated the NBN and it had to be wound down to try to afford it Niw Labor want to spend more money on a failure they promoted

  • justloo30794050 justlooking (@justloo30794050) reported

@PaulFletcherMP NBN - Notoriously Bad Net

  • agentagitator Damian O'Connor (@agentagitator) reported

@PaulFletcherMP That would have to one of the dumbest lead paras ever. Yes Labor lost office just at the start of rolling out a massive project it conceived in 2010 to fix ur dead lazy holus bolus Telstra selloff. Then you ****** nbn up and are now redoing ur own plan. FFS
