@NBN_Australia The power has just come back on at about 4.40pm, but no explanation from @westernpowerwa. If the outage had extended much longer as it did in 2012, then we could have lost mobile connectivity and NBN and contents of freezers. Power needed for water pumping, heating. Plans needed.

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia Would've been nice if it had happened when Labor first wanted FTTH. You lot deliberately sabotaged it costing billions more, slower service.. now you think its your idea to improve it? FMD. You're a bunch of morons. #auspol #MSM

So Kevvy says, We need world class nbn fttp. Its going to cost a bit but we will do it once and do it right. Tone asks Mal to save some $$$ Tone says the old copper network has been awesome for 50 years, let's just twist some wires and fix it properly later. 🧅

  • JoshMacTechie Joshua MacLennan (@JoshMacTechie) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia Do it once. Do it properly. Do it with fibre. Unless you are an idiot.

Michelle Rowland nails the Tony Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison #NBN they cruelled for Rupert to the Wall "After spending $51 billion on a second-rate network, and wasting seven years, it turns out fibre is what Australian businesses needed all along," she said.

  • RossCooper3 Ross Cooper (@RossCooper3) reported

@GrogsGamut Perhaps all those LNP voters working from home have been complaining. All the live cross drop outs on ABC24 also a bad ad for the current NBN, that can't help either.

  • MiguelDSouza Miguel D'Souza (@MiguelDSouza) reported

Sucks that Australians voted for a **** NBN in 2013, well aware of the technological shortcomings, and eventual cost ballooning of the NBN to cover those fkn shortcomings. We got the mediocre bunch of short-term clowns we voted for.

  • Ozesurfer Ozesurfer (@Ozesurfer) reported

@MrKRudd @MikeCarlton01 They must've started at 2:09am this morning because that's when my, normally perfect FTTP NBN , went down and I'm still waiting for them to fix it!

  • pippasweetpea Deb (@pippasweetpea) reported

So now the fed govt is going to redo the nbn in some areas to fibre to the premise if a person wants it they will need to put in an order for that service. What does that mean. We would just like access to the nbn in the first place

  • kokolopa kokolopa (@kokolopa) reported

What absolute cretins the LNP are... first they destroy the NBN and only when they find out is advantageous to have FTTH do they decide to favour and fund it... it is poor judgement to have wasted taxpayer money in the first place... how anyone can vote for these idiots 🤯🤯🤯🤯
