If I wasn’t damn locked into an existing contract with this provider, I would’ve signed up with 10 better NBN resellers out there 😡😠😤
-
Christian Verdicchio (@c_verdicchio) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus you’ve done it again. #Floptus I’ve tried to assist setting up my mums home phone for a month now. You cancelled her nbn setup visit and still haven’t contacted her after a week and now send her another nbn box. You guys are the worst for customer service. @acccgovau

@VodafoneAU seriously if I can’t through or someone doesn’t call me I am going to lose it. I’ve been trying for 3 months to cancel home wifi. You’re still charging when I have nbn. Now threatening me with cut off when I’ve been paying my bills minus the wifi plan!! 😡 Come on!!

-
Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@RickTheWarden @me_dc NBN technician came yesterday to fix outage fault, changed some hardware inside & outside... was working fine until now. It seems like it’s tripped the front room where the NBN/modem is inside - safety switch won’t stay on. Still try what you’ve suggested?
-
Ultimate Fathering (@gacjezv) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@NBN_Australia once again outage after outage. Get your shot together it’s not hard. I’m after a refund from my premium service.
-
Matthew (@mattjh1992) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@TurnbullMalcolm You sold us a shit sandwich NBN, under the technical prowess of PM Abbott. Least you could do is own it. Coming to you from a 4G home modem, because the copper is shit.
-
Cr Mark Basham JP (@crmarkbasham) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@SlatteryNetwork @TurnbullMalcolm @HardieGrant As someone who relies on the crap FTTN 10km from the #Adelaide CBD, everytime the #NBN crashes, we yell out "Thanks Malcolm" and curse the day he was born.

@ScottMurphyAUS Urgh! I was a long term internode customer until they couldn't/wouldn't offer the same service I had in the move from ADSL -> NBN. So I went with Aussie. Haven't looked back, internode. went downhill when iiNet bought them When TPG bought the lot out it all went to 💩
-
Weng Wong (@wengywong) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@Optus Second time a NBN technician has not bothered to come, well done @Optus, such great customer service. You guys are a joke.
-
Lee Morris (@Bakka_67) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Fark me. The nbn is that slow even their technicians can't turn up on time, even with a 4hr window.
-
Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@khtagh .....as if Crap NBN isn't enough!!🙄
-
Sregion (@Sregion2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Last night my internet provider said they’d raise a service request with NBN and a tech would attend within 24 hours. They just said they need to do another test w me tonight before they can raise the request. So it’ll be another night w no internet and no way to deliver prizes!
-
Mikal Howard (@MikalHoward) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@RadelaideRob @NBN_Australia Instead of a firmware update, they obviously do hardware updates too. New tech is not a bad thing surely. Did you pay for it?
-
tracey nicholls (@traceyn2016) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
7 months after informing TELSTRA we are moving and no longer need our land line and NBN service we are still being charged multiple calls emails and 3 visits to a service centre still being charged
-
Victoria Evans (@TickHarris) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@NBN_Australia Thanks Rose. I’ve been speaking/ emailing your team this week but whatever I say or do I can’t convince NBN that they have an incorrect address. So DMing my details is unlikely to help. It’s extremely frustrating. Thanks
-
Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
@OccupyMyGov @Mad_Morris This Government can't do anything right & a Crap NBN doesn't help....

-
Adam (@etoxin) reported
@telstra I've had 3 cancelled NBN appointments and it's near impossible to talk to someone to figure out why these appointments keep getting cancelled. I'm not getting the internet service I'm paying for. Give me a reason to stay with Telstra.
-
Deb Hogg 📚🐨🦉🏝🌺🙏😝 (@DebHoggoz) reported
I've lost track of the number of times I have either rung @Telstra or had messages from their social media team as we continue to navigate the appalling service being provided by Telstra NBN at our home. Here we are again this morning with my husband unable to work from home!
-
ambro96 (@ambro96) reported
Constant drop-outs with @Telstra @NBN_Australia Amazing how Australians have to put up with paying premiums for a service that is just terrible @Telstra_news #nbnsucks #telstranbn #techfail
-
Hodge (@MrHodgepants) reported
@john_c0nner @DoctorKarl $70 billion for the original planned optic fibre NBN vs $56 billion for the WWI-era copper infused one we got. So no, not "hundreds of billions". And labor cost is the same either way (unless you count ongoing costs, in which case the copper network is more costly to maintain).
-
mjb (@mickjoebill) reported
@techAU @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia The opposite is the case for businesses, free installation if you are in an existing landline network, they recoup costs by charging a high month ly fee.
-
Darren from Newy (@DarrenKilminst1) reported
@johnb78 True but our 2nd rate NBN will continue to incur large costs due to the poor state of the copper network. A network Telstra happily sold for a motza.
-
Marcus Wigan (@MarcWigan) reported
One of the buried #nbn stories is the poor quality of subcontractor monitoring. I am aware of even FFTN customers who have driven corrections through the opaque system to get excellent results even from initially appalling FFTN service
-
John Xenos (@johnxenos) reported
35 minutes on hold with @telstra and I'm yet to speak to an actual person - 2 outages in my first 2 weeks on @NBN_Australia and no support in sight.....tell me again how this was supposed to be a superior solution...
-
Internode (@Internode) reported
@Adrisis83 Thanks for reaching out, Adrian! Nothing widespread was reported. Have you tried restarting both the modem and NBN Network Connection Device? Turn them off for a minute, turn them back on, wait for the lights to settle then see if you'll be able to connect again. -John

Screen. Mind. Both are blank. (@fortescue) reported
@DeanBarnett @NBN_Australia Yeah, that’s why I never got it quoted before. What a joke.
