    @Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.

    @jeff32567916 @australian He recognised that NBN via wifi (using mobile phone network) is a bad idea, when the mobile phone towers back up battery's go flat (couple if hours) we have no communication at all, we should all still have wired communication but we don't so it's very easy to switch it all off

    @yannikau2 @AmanogawaShiina Makes no difference to me. I ain't buying **** no point. Because Australia is governed by the mentally retarded I have been waiting for nbn the government run fiber network to connect my home internet since December amd still waiting.

    @robb_j_m NBN is free, the ISP is where the charges are and believe it or not it's customer support is why it costs much. The infrastructure costs are not the big cost.

    @JH_Otway_Ranges @craigkellyAFEE we never needed an nbn . mobile phone for data was faster and cheaper. Now starlink is faster and cheaper again NBN is a 200 billion dollar disaster

    @DaveMcG67 @Ausbobsmit @lauren_vasiliou Like Snowy 2 you mean started by LNP at a cost of $2B now estimated at $42B an LNP project or the NBN which cost us $110B more under Abbott& Turnbull for a far inferior service.Neither the right or left r great project managers.

    @tzk1810 Idiots in the comments flexing their 500mbs not realising that this is FTTN which was a half-assed non solution to the NBN. If we went with the original plan we’d all be on gigabit fibre by now
