  • Bakka_67 Lee Morris (@Bakka_67) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Fark me. The nbn is that slow even their technicians can't turn up on time, even with a 4hr window.

  • wengywong Weng Wong (@wengywong) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Optus Second time a NBN technician has not bothered to come, well done @Optus, such great customer service. You guys are a joke.

  • crmarkbasham Cr Mark Basham JP (@crmarkbasham) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@SlatteryNetwork @TurnbullMalcolm @HardieGrant As someone who relies on the crap FTTN 10km from the #Adelaide CBD, everytime the #NBN crashes, we yell out "Thanks Malcolm" and curse the day he was born.

  • mattjh1992 Matthew (@mattjh1992) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@TurnbullMalcolm You sold us a shit sandwich NBN, under the technical prowess of PM Abbott. Least you could do is own it. Coming to you from a 4G home modem, because the copper is shit.

  • rovingblonde Andrea (@rovingblonde) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@JezNews I am avoiding NBN too...and to think of the service we could have had!

  • AnastasiosManol Anastasios (Taso) Manolakis (💦💦💦 (@AnastasiosManol) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Even the #nbn is going into recession (slowing down day by day)

  • DunkenKBliths Dunken K Bliths (@DunkenKBliths) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@MelissaLDavey Ah they finally realise how bad #NBN is !!!

  • TheNightFlower 💧(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ 🐨🦘 (@TheNightFlower) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@TPG_Telecom 4am and right on cue, no WiFi. Happens every night, several times. I work nights until quite late so this is when I relax and watch tv. We have no digital tv signal here so all our news and media comes through the NBN. 😣 So frustrating when it consteantly drops out.

  • Gail_Fairlamb Gail Fairlamb (@Gail_Fairlamb) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@themann @mpesce NBN proves slow and expensive gets built.

  • YasieTV YasieTV 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ TwitchCon (San Diego) (@YasieTV) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Spazmo4 No! I’m calling the nbn **** heads now. Like they never understand it’s work related as well! Like I need t stream! -.-

  • YasieTV YasieTV 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ TwitchCon (San Diego) (@YasieTV) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Spazmo4 Apparently all nbn are down due to the fires!

  • iEmRollin Emily Fung (@iEmRollin) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia We just got our NBN connection back 15 minutes ago (after 13 hours of outage), @Telstra is still showing an outage page on their website tho.

  • iEmRollin Emily Fung (@iEmRollin) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

So apparently NBN is down for quite a few areas in different states, good work making it not only slow but unreliable.

  • GeorgieBanister Georgie Banister (@GeorgieBanister) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Is it even Christmas in Australia if you don’t complain about the NBN not working. #Christmas #NBN

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@LAMcCormick @NBN_Australia Exactly. It’s so hard to pick, at times there are some providers are so far ahead of the rest, and other times where they’re competing for who is worst. We’re hoping this last month and a 1/2 is refunded - the service was shocking!

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Tonight’s temperature will not drop below 28/29°C in #Adelaide... and the local power company has decided to switch power off at 11:00pm. - Also, after 36 HOURS, our home is still without internet. The #NBN is fine to take money from customers, but fails to deliver a service.

  • MichalakisCon Con Michalakis (@MichalakisCon) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Demand side types - fix energy, NBN and boost research incentives (higher ed and corp)

  • DonWestley1 💧 Don Westley (@DonWestley1) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@AaronDodd @jason_om Y'know, I wonder how much a metre that cable is, as I might get them to run a fibre from the house down the street, cheaper than the #NBN! 😎

  • gregors510 Nick Gregor (@gregors510) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@mormorlady GOOD!! FIX THE NBN, YOU BASTARDS!!

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • 2am29QUR9U 永夜初晗 (@2am29QUR9U) reported

@shaunmicallef @vanOnselenP Well, when considering our poor NBN...

  • cliff_higson cliff higson (@cliff_higson) reported

@Kelly1Judy @MrTVAus 8 & 80 here on the gold coast are nbn if any help.

  • djlozz Laurie Micallef (@djlozz) reported

@PJS_84 $90 unlimited with the top speed boost = NBN fibre to the premise 100/40 - no issues, stable and the one time I did have issue 5 min on phone and they sorted it to be fixed = NBN fault. @BelongAU = Jetstar no frills of Telstra.

  • lizardb0y Doom Bass (/ˈdʌm.æs/) (@lizardb0y) reported

@hakluke @snyff That sucks alright. I didn't realise how badly the NBN shenanigans had set you back.

  • PJS_84 Paula (@PJS_84) reported

@jpthepower Just if I was overpaying. $90 NBN and I think I have 4G backup... which has never worked.

  • Tubsta Jason Tubnor (@Tubsta) reported

@NBN_Australia @moylecroft Enterprise customer here. Only two (FTTP) of our 34 (and expanding network) connections can achieve higher than 250/25 so we won’t be changing anytime soon. Your sample size is too small.

  • TylerOConnell18 Tyler OConnell (@TylerOConnell18) reported

@SpaceXStarlink (Australia's) NBN Co now has more than 100,000 active connections to Sky Muster. Geo sat service with a 650ms ping. Save us SpaceX! :) 100+ million annual revenue for the taking.

  • echosigma Glen (@echosigma) reported

@PJS_84 We had NBN made available to our area only last week. Based on their cost structure it appears you pay more for download speed. I went with Fixed Wireless option about 2 yrs ago and have never regretted it. Won't be touching NBN anytime soon.

  • Guy1ncogn1t0 Guy Incognito (@Guy1ncogn1t0) reported

@PJS_84 $70 at one place (has TPG's own fibre network rather than NBN) and $80 at the other

  • bcg1976 Not for you (@bcg1976) reported

@NBN_Australia That link is almost as bad as the Internets are like a series of tubes... Your pointless, unsolicited replies do nothing but add to entropy. Please **** off.
