@LAMcCormick @NBN_Australia Exactly. It’s so hard to pick, at times there are some providers are so far ahead of the rest, and other times where they’re competing for who is worst. We’re hoping this last month and a 1/2 is refunded - the service was shocking!

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

Tonight’s temperature will not drop below 28/29°C in #Adelaide... and the local power company has decided to switch power off at 11:00pm. - Also, after 36 HOURS, our home is still without internet. The #NBN is fine to take money from customers, but fails to deliver a service.

@NBN_Australia Nah, I’m just sharing my general impression and having a bit of a complain. 😜 I check the status page of our ISP when the internet goes down (there are problems at the exchange occasionally). As for the speed, I haven’t noticed anything groundbreaking. There’s room to grow!

@NellJuggernaut @_domchantal 1. why is it always mum who has to spend 3 hours on the phone to the service provider trying to get it fixed? 2. Make that 2 days to 3 weeks if NBN is involved and mum has to manage service provider and nbn buck passing about whose fault it is and who should send a tech out.

@AlboMP mate, can I ask for a commitment please. Nothing stupid, or the like. We have DAB+ (look it up). It's in the "cities', but the regions? A Federal Govt funded, NBN shared, access to ALL Australians, to DAB+.

@Telstra While I have access to upstairs' service, it's just that sharing bandwidth - after moving from a NBN serviced home which I shared with nobody - can be frustrating at times. Plus there's the issue of the pit where it connects into the street filling with water each time it rains.

@Telstra It was cause we didn’t have nbn to the home and it got suspended. We got the modem sent so just waiting on it. I never got any warning that it was going to be suspended though, so just curious if you gave a warning or something a while back?

Back on the NBN!! Thanks to prompt service from the NBN technician. The storm on Thursday night took out the modem. No surprise. Lightning cracked directly overhead!!
