The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Even it's rollout was ill considered, eg shutting down the interim satellite during the wet season 😳 Specifically what NBN requirements can't be met by starlink ? 🤔 Starlink has ~250k residential subs, 350k total. Dane Trethowan (@grtdane) reported@TimLooker @ABCaustralia I knew our communications system was down the tube with no stopping it when NBN bought the Copper Wire Network from Telstra and start decommissioning it, we should have had our Copper Network (which served us well) continue to do so along side Fibre etc.
