The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Hawke and Keating also introduced HECS and fees for higher degrees. This has evolved into the current absolute nightmare with massive fees and terrible quality education. He had taken the cover off the NBN box and that's what woke me up- when he was putting it back on. Pretty sure he was looking for a spare key
