The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

No idea if they're waiting for NBN to move out before making that change or what, but I guess patience is a virtue in any case!

We usually get about 175. To answer your question a comparable plan in Malaysia is about 55 Aussie dollars so it doesn’t quite compare

One of my mates had an NBN contract and he got paid stupid amounts of money and he said he'd finish by 2pm, took long lunches and could push appointments by saying he was too busy. Zero oversight. Huge rort.
