@LaTrioli we have nbn satellite, bout as slow as dialup. Everyone else in my burb got f2c. We pay $119 month 50peak/50 offpeak. Neighbours get 500gig unlimited $49.95 superfast speed. Nbn 4got bout our place said 'maybe next time' 🙄

@Optus Still no service and restoration of service is 'maybe another 24-48hrs' and nobody knows why. I'd be better of buying an @Telstra or @TPG_Telecom wireless service and be up and running in an hour instead of dealing with @NBN_Australia sh!t.

What this article fails to mention is that if AU Labor’s original NBN proposal had actually been delivered, we would have had faster, more reliable internet at a fraction of the cost of the “revised” NBN that was actaully delivered with the “help” of “efficient” private telcos.
@Telstra No worries. I’ll keep testing it and hopefully it improves. We had the NBN guy here making the change on Saturday. He couldn’t even get a signal for the first hour. So that wasn’t a good start. Then finally got it going. The network has been poor in the area for a while.
@Telstra @andy_penn Thanks Telstra, NBN was booked to be activated on 7/11. Didn’t happen. 2 hours on the phone without success. Many calls since, twice told to make sure modem is left on for 48 hours and it will fix itself. Still adsl. Telstra to call this morning still waiting

The debacle that is the #nbn just keeps going on and on... $51 billion for a third rate failure of a "national broadband" network that isn't really national and isn't very broadband, either.
I got line replaced today. I am now getting 80/27 connection speed on fttn. I have been unable to push the speed past about 60mbps even with a network cable plugged into a pc. So i am guessing either my isp or nbn kinda sucks.
