I did search around Twitter for "NBN technician" to see if people are tweeting about what this apparent appointment actually involves. Seems a _lot_ of people have them just not show up, or fail to do anything. So that's good for my anxiety.

@Telstra appauled at your customer service. 6 attempts (!!!) to cancel an NBN order, each time assured it was done and yet it still showed up on the door step of my old home. NO ONE able to actually help/solve the issue. Useless service.

@mgeist Note that Canada was a world leader in opening the TPIA wholesale for cable. Australia’s attempt to do wholesale on cable with NBN failed (despite having hired an ex Shaw guy who knew how it SHOULD work, but Australia didn’t use that technological solution. )

@NBN_Australia @MRowlandMP @M_McCormackMP 260 hectares of land destroyed and oxygen lost; and how much power and carbon used to make all these panels too? Never zero just destroying the landscape. Nuclear is the best answer for base load power if you want to ditch coal.
