@iiNet Managed to get one third of my service reinstated on the same day... Now for the fetch and the email address restore please. As a bonus fourth, change your policy so random people can't just request provision of a service which automatically disconnects any current service.

@nicktrav @iiNet @TPG_Telecom Yeah, I assume emails are possible to restore but their IT support didn't know how to do it. This is honestly the problem of mergers and aggressive cost controlling - it produced scenarios where no-one at the customer-facing level can actually solve non-routine problems.

@iiNet @SixersBBL You lied to us about the connection. You have cancelled appointments. You are a terrible isp.

@IanWoolf @iiNet Sorry, just saw the other tweet. With upload so slow, it's bad for any business needing to upload important and large files.

@AlisterAir @iiNet Yep 16 grand in Brunswick East. They've turned off the ability to get a quote for doing all the neighbours at the same time. It's ludicrous. If the HFC is unstable I'll actually look at using 5G for crucial stuff. Exactly as Telstra foresaw 10 years ago during the NBN wars.

@IanWoolf @iiNet OK, and just again, why such a big difference between down and upload. HFC is only available in limited urban areas I think?
