@iiNet If it takes you this long to recover from "extreme weather" I really worry what the situation would be if you faced major infrastructure damage from a fire, earthquake, etc. Surely your backup data center on the east coast should have kicked in within a few minutes?

@iiNet @KylieSaunder Maajidah, fastest cut and paster in the world. I assume you are the intern hung out to dry here. Maybe email your boss (irony intended) and get some actual direction on how to not kill the Company with your appalling customer service.

@MikeCarlton01 @iiNet Mike, I too am an iinet customer, but use Mailbox, iCloud, ProtonMail for most of my email. I hope you don't have all your eggs in the iinet basket.

@MikeCarlton01 @iiNet This thread should be brought to you by the letters T, I and O...I've gone from zero communication to 2 months' free service via complaints about TPG, IINet, Telstra and Optus over the past decade, and all responded to the complaint directly to me in 24 hours

  • ralphytown Amanda Ralph (@ralphytown) reported

@iiNet Please explain why you are reliant on a single geographic location with seemingly no BCP or other back up? 3 days now. No ETA on service restoration and no communication #iinet #iinetisdown

  • dccharron Denis Charron (@dccharron) reported

The @iiNet website is UP but mail server is still DOWN.
