Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • sebe sebe (@sebe) reported

@miriamcosic @iiNet Stopping the rollout of the FTTP, Fibre to the Premises, has been a disaster, Fibre to the node relies on old copper, for the last km to the home. Copper wires could be > 80 years old. Relo in Windsor has no issues with full fibre, driveway is flooded again, glass is waterproof.

@iiNet #iinet Is anyone else experiencing an Internet outage (iiNet or NBN) in Darlinghurst, Sydney? Started about 10 pm for me.

  • DocB__ Ron Baumann 💧 (@DocB__) reported

Finally pull the modem out of the box to connect to @iiNet wireless and do you think it works? Of course not because they didn't activate it as they were supposed to. Going straight to @Telstra if it's not working by the morning, despite the lack of Irish accent.

@iiNet hi iinet, nobody is responding to my emails and I don't call 13 numbers on mobile. I've moved house and I've received over 6 texts/emails about plugging in my modem. My modem is plugged in. I have internet. Shouldn't you guys know that? Can you cancel my old house now?

  • mariasofi 💧Maria Sofi (@mariasofi) reported

@DocB__ @iiNet Sorry you're trying to get it sorted, I found my issues took a good few days to sort out, but I averaged those 5 days over 25 years, so I stayed.

  • HSVXUV Paul X (@HSVXUV) reported

@jagungal1 @iiNet I dumped iinet as soon as Aussiebb was avaliable, havn't had a problem since

  • AltoAduro Angela Hennel (@AltoAduro) reported

@iinet is there an outage this morning 3095?

  • jagungal1 Cormac Farrell (@jagungal1) reported

@iiNet I had already done this. You had also promised to re-tune the tower. Twice. We have also done 'the dance' - move the modem up, down, to the left, turn it off & on. Twice You are selling plans for 25-50mps when your network delivers 1-2mps and a ping >90.

  • DocB__ Ron Baumann 💧 (@DocB__) reported

It's 9:30 Brisbane time which means that @iiNet's deadline is up. It also means I have to spend valuable time I really don't have submitting a complaint to the ombudsman and finding a new provider.

  • DocB__ Ron Baumann 💧 (@DocB__) reported

@iiNet I have spoken to iiNet four times today. Each time I verified my details each time I had to explain the problem all over again. I am sick of talking to you. If you can't get this goddamn internet going by the morning. I'm walking.
