Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jswharton Shane (@jswharton) reported

@iiNet The point I would make is that with email and website down it would have been appropriate for updates to be broadcast via Twitter. Better for your competition to know but keep customers in the loop.

  • Nemspy Mike (@Nemspy) reported

@bobthegeo @iiNet Back-to-back 43 and 44 are "not that unusual?" Loads of people are without power due to the strain on the grid and whatever other issues the heat causes. Remember also that people have to WORK in this to fix it. I'm not usually an apologist, but -sheesh- its email. It can wait

  • crynnthinight17 Stevo (@crynnthinight17) reported

@iiNet Any news on this email outage ?

  • AmryanAnnie 🌻 Annie Ryan 🌻 (@AmryanAnnie) reported

@iiNet Can we have an update on the outage please. Some emails dribbling in. Unable to log into website or toolbox. Pity the first email received was an Invoice from you! #iiNetOutage

  • bobthegeo BobtheGeo (@bobthegeo) reported

@Nemspy @iiNet Mate, a business like this should be better set up to handle this. The people working to fix it are doing so because their management didn't invest properly. And no, it's not that unusual in the years I've been living here. I hate to say it but it's likely to become more common.

  • rossj80 ross (@rossj80) reported

@iiNet assume email is still down as I still can’t get in

  • Bron1954 Eleanor AbernathyⓋ (@Bron1954) reported

@MBongaloo @MikeCarlton01 @iiNet Agree. They were brilliant before then, but sent everything offshore. I had huge problems when I moved, and when I contacted their support centre was told I didn't have my account with them I had it with NBN 🙄

  • NADennison Noel Dennison (@NADennison) reported

@iiNet This is exactly the same pathetic communication effort as last time, beware of missing emails and don't bother asking for compensation as they will tell you email is a free service as part of the internet service provision. Might be time to change service providers after 30 yrs

  • VictoriaFreshy Victoria (@VictoriaFreshy) reported

@iiNet Email is now restored - for the benefit of other iiNet customers, emails missing during downtime from your main account should be able to be accessed via webmail login (toolbox).

  • whoisricho Richo Snrub (@whoisricho) reported

@iiNet is the extreme weather issue also causing general internet connection problems? I haven't had internet since the afternoon of the 25th. Already done all of the restarts etc.
