$1.2 billion to compensate robodebt victims, $20,000 on Cartier watches and millions on his dud COVIDSafe app?” A surly Morrison delivered a one-word answer – “No” What’s good is the normally protective msm is giving these issues screen time, Foxtel’s Covid Channel especially

@YoAdrian101 @DrBlackVelvet I can’t remember for sure, but because Kayo is a streaming service it seems to have lots more stuff & documentaries than Foxtel ever did. It also has edited versions of stuff if you want to watch just the highlights. Plus split screen is pretty cool. Bathurst coverage was ace.

@Telstra looks like you are at it again. Want to cancel Foxtel, almost impossible. Telling me my service number is incorrect. Would like to speak to someone but guess what, Telstra don’t employ humans! Utterly pathetic!

@modwolfff Trouble with Foxtel is all the extras you need for a proper service. I’m lucky in that I don’t watch much TV these days. Call them and tell them you’re thinking of canceling and they should offer you a better deal for a while.

@agentm831 It’s owned by Disney now so it’ll probably move. Over here it was locked behind a stupid Foxtel platform. I won’t get started on Foxtel

@Foxtel - your 4K content is limited and has been since introduced. Is there any reason why you can’t broadcast the cricket and F1 both in 4K on different channels at the same time. HD with an 85 inch tv is awful 🤷🏽

@kupejj Yes partly to blame, although Foxtel did quite a bit of damage at the end. The league needed the money and other platforms perhaps were not interested.

@rob_mcknight great hearing your discussion about streaming with @sofieformica on @newstalk4BC earlier. Will Foxtel be required to meet the same 20% revenue quota requirement as they move towards sole delivery via streaming by shutting down their use of cable and satellite?
-

@FOXTEL_Help pretty pathetic that the nat geo and wild channels are disappearing off your service in march, seems to be less but more re programming vs how much you charge subscribers.

Andrew Hind

@freud_schaden @discoball2000 That's what the latter option effectively is. If Disney, for example, decided to pull their standalone streaming service they would probably just sell their best content to Foxtel like they used to.
