Compared to last year, Foxtel is down approximately 267,000 cable customers, as its reported number is now 2.001 million. By comparison, at the end of 2016, the company had 2.8 million broadcast subscribers.

@DeanRosario I think the big problem for FTA treatment of the AL is that it's been non-habit forming for fans. On average your team is on FTA once every 6 weeks. That's no way to keep hold of new or part-time fans. Full time, existing fans will stick with Foxtel, or it's replacement

@TheRealALM Free advice for anyone that is going to cancel Foxtel on this news. Be prewarned that it’s an ordeal and a hell of a process and they’ll harass you. Plan it in advance so you can exit at the end of your billing cycle.
