@Discovery Just read about a multi year deal with foxtel, so i guess no discovery app for Australia in near future and sorry to say but im done with fkdtel so im done with discovery. Sick of paying stupid prices for useless service that i cant watch half the time.

@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports I disagree a persons salary is a private issue and not for the public to be aware. Aren’t the clubs scrutinized by NRL constantly ? Nobody is paying with brown paper bags these days. Third party arrangements are monitored. It’s just crawls trying to make a headline.

HBO/Warner Discovery will stay with Foxtel in Australia, massive licencing deal, but HBO also has the option to launch their service here but it would be done as a bundle under this arrangement

@Lisaisalooseun1 Not using the C word, but I used to work for Foxtel back in the early 00’s and one day we got a message direct from God (Rupert Murdoch) that at the end of each call we had to ask ‘are you satisfied with <whatever?>’ The main issue was that most of the call centre staff were 1/?

So you prioritise who you want to keep. Those down the list get offered less than those at the top, & being premiership winners, get better offers.

@dispose_humans Yeah it's gone. I tested it as open circuit to everything. I'm guessing it was a black magic fix to Foxtel dropping out in the rain to appease the sky news enthusiasts who lived there. Said plug was in the master bedroom too.

Take note, looks to be an issue with some on the STC channel number in homes on Foxtel box. Coming up as 588 and not 528.
