@ThatJimmySmith The rights agreement meant 7 can’t stream the (men’s) international matches (I’m not sure they’re even allowed to with BBL either), because that’s the domain of Foxtel. Blame whoever at Cricket Australia who signed off on that garbage

Trying to get a fix for my 80 yr old mum’s @FOXTEL_Help box. The solution? Send a new hdmi cable as issue has been raised once with tech support. I can only be there after hours & tech support closes at 7pm WA time. Can’t report it if you’re closed. 😠

The streaming quality of @SBS is SO MUCH better than a paid service like @Foxtel . Foxtel streams lags and stutters so much during highly watched live streams

@arceniy @scroogecapital How would you treat the Foxtel debt? Seems that News Corp HoldCo has $2bn of notes and ~$1.3bn of cash. They treat the Foxtel equity and inter company loan as a News Corp asset. How do you view it?

@burrosavic 100% I won’t watch cricket anymore. I’ve cancelled my @foxtel account cause sport sucks now. I still love my Sea Eagles despite their ****** owners. Trouble is. Once you know how corrupt the world is, you can’t unknow.

@arceniy @scroogecapital Yeah, ultimately 15x or 18x and Foxtel debt all irrelevant unless they are willing to do something to close the gap to NAV. Buying back stock was a good start, but too slow.

@TheRealCozey @Foxtel I never said or implied anything about free-to-air. In other countries WWE have partnered with Disney+ which is significantly more in-use here than Foxtel/Binge. It's also cheaper while offering 4K, more content and more multiple streams than Binge.

@IMPACTWRESTLING @dazngroup Damn no TV contracts. I wish Impact would come back to Foxtel in Australia. I'm all for streaming, I have a Fire TV, Apple TV & Roku and I'm a Impact Plus monthly subscriber, but nothing beats PW on cable tv.

@Sialepis69 Same. I'm annoyed that they've just sold some rights to one channel, streaming to an expensive streaming service and one series exclusive to foxtel. Cricket should be free to watch, listen and stream

@scroogecapital broadly agree on the thesis, don't agree on the multiples and ND treatment (think they only account for NewsCorp debt since Foxtel is non recourse?). Problem with SOTP/NAV discount is that it never works unless really spinned-off/sold

@cmkusher To me the issue is simple. In private sector, would Lowe’s comments have constituted misleading & deceptive conduct if similar wording on pricing were used in ads to sell insurance, a car lease or a Foxtel subscription and then price was raised above/earlier than indicated? 1/
