Thanks for the free data this weekend @VodafoneAU due to your network error, however I already have 50GB a month so I feel a bill discount if more appropriate

@AveryKaeHoward Sounds like @VodafoneAU failed to make any updates to their own change of name process following the changes the govt made. They're acting like it's still the 1990s & marriage or deed poll are the only ways to do it. Pretty unimpressive. They need to fix their **** asap

@VodafoneAU I am not exactly sure what caused the recent outage, but if it can go out all of a sudden and take so long to repair, this weekend would definitely overload the network with many people on a limited plan suddenly not needing to worry about their data limit

@VodafoneAU @jamiewhincup Is that when it is working? Giving away free data this weekend doesn’t even come close to making up for sh@t service that you have provided recently! Would prefer my monthly bill be discounted instead as that is real service and customer understanding. #vodafail #customerscount

Hey @VodafoneAU giving a free data weekend to make up for your network going down when I already pay for more data than I can use isn't much of an apology. Maybe just cut some bucks from my next bill and we'll call it square

@mkoko_p @VodafoneAU You make some fair points. 6. A polite call to their customer service team can do wonders for any individual adversely affected in a more serious way. I've often found @VodafoneAU staff will do their utmost to ensure an individual customer receives an acceptable outcome.

@VodafoneAU Have sent a message but no response for the last 10 minutes....is this a customer service tactic that Vodafone employs?

@VodafoneAU No need, my contract is up this month and I've already started looking elsewhere for my next upgrade. My issue was not only with the outage but the 'gesture of goodwill' that doesn't effect a bulk of your customer base, myself included

@deep_end_diving @VodafoneAU Vodafone does have good customer service, true. But is Vodafone ensuring people are aware of that or are they tryna pacify their customers with empty gestures? Y’all making it seem as if asking for more than the naught Vodafone is offering is asking for too much.

I appreciate the gesture by @VodafoneAU to offer free data all weekend to compensate for their recent outage, BUT, I have lots of data anyway, so I don’t get any compensIon - a bill rebate would be a much better option.
