Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • joelpmichael 📡 The Antenna Waver (@joelpmichael) reported

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Why should I trust that some dodgy antivirus company like, say, Symantec, to not issue certificates for Google to themselves?

  • hohum3001 hohum (@hohum3001) reported

@VodafoneAU I have recommended a friend to Vodafone & am trying to work out if I want to come too, fyi. & for the record, & off the record, my encumbernt is awesome too, it's just that at the moment their support is horrific.

  • SimonValentine1 Simon Valentine (@SimonValentine1) reported

Hi @VodafoneAU I hate tweeting complaints but your sales person that called me this morning was rude, pushy, and couldn’t seem to grasp the concept of “please call back later.”

  • hohum3001 hohum (@hohum3001) reported

hey @VodafoneAU a friend's vodafone router only has fast ethernet (10/100) ports so that's his @Google Mesh can use via the WAN, but he's paid for the faster connection. Google being Google, they don't seem to support a wwlan setup. I don't know mesh. What can I tell him?

  • elronxenu Dan Andrews' robotic exoskeleton (@elronxenu) reported

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU I hate that dumbing down of service functions.

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

@wolfcat @VodafoneAU When I was contacted by @kcarruthers a number of years ago about A Serious Issue, I went oh hell, pulled the Big Red Lever and woke up a bunch of folks and had it fixed within like an hour.

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

I've been a customer of yours for more than 20 years, back to the 3 days, and your helpdesk's inability to handle a life critical issue and escalate it appropriately is absolutely unacceptable, @VodafoneAU. Fix that stuff.

  • abstractslug Penny (@abstractslug) reported

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU @NSWSES Oh that explains the weird problem I was have hours ago that they still haven't fixed apparently

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

@TomWKoch @VodafoneAU It seems to me that the staff (and most of the conversation was with a second level "specialist") isn't trained enough, or enabled to escalate issues to someone who is able to understand it. It's not the helpdesk person's fault (I blanked their name for a reason)

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

Aside from the immediate issue of @VodafoneAU blocking folks from being able to click through on @NSWSES alerts, it's absolutely unacceptable that their help desk are unable to escalate serious life threatening issues.
